Abstract

Finishing is effected by transferring, by means of heat and pressure, >=1 unsatd. polyester resin chosen from allylic, melamine, acrylic or polurethane resin, onto the surface with the help of a support onto which the resin has been previously applied. The support is subjected to a second coating with a different resin e.g. a urea resin, from that used for the first coating. The support consists of a metal, polypropylene, satd. polyester, regenerated cellulose, polyimide, silicone paper, or anti-adhesive paper. The resin may contain fillers and pigments.
