Abstract

Dust pollution from grinding, screening and conveying operations such as cement and fertiliser mfr. is prevented by closing machine apertures with elastomer sheet or similar material, using no screened fastenings. The sheet is clamped along aperture rigid edges of a bulbous cross-section larger than a corresponding channel in an elastically deformable clip which is expanded to grip the sheet along the bulbous edge. The clip is pref. a 'C'-shaped, rubber moulding.
