Control system for a nuclear reactor having an internal circulation of a coolant, comprising at least one ion-exchanger coupled to the reactor as regards flow of fluid, and provided with a bed of ion exchange resin for basic anions, capable of storing chemically a neutron capturing material, partic. one containing boron, contributing to the temp. as far as its storage capacity for this material is involved and coupled to at least one heat exchanger, as far as fluid flow is concerned, for varying the temp. of the coolant coming to the ion exchanger, the latter is connected in turn to at least one evaporator for concentrating a soln. rich in neutron capturing material leaving the ion exchanger.
