Abstract

A filter unit, esp for dust removal from air streams comprising a filter sheet housed between two equivalent perforated, longitudinally corrugated laminae, pref. in resistant plastic. The matrix is regularly and uniformly laterally folded through 180 degrees to generate layers of filter material separated by twice the laminar corrugation thickness with minimal compression of the filter at the acute angled folds. The method creates a highly efficient filter with excellent fabrication facility.
