Abstract

Appts. for superimposing a series of flexible sheets of fabric of identical shape and with sufficiently high coefficient of friction between them to prevent them sliding over each other too easily, to form a stack from which they can be advanced to a work station such as a sewing machine, comprises a shaft which can be turned through a small angle in either direction, a main roller parallel to this shaft supported on a main radial arm rigidly attached to the shaft, and first and second auxiliary rollers on first and second radial arms articulated on the shaft so that they are at the same radial distance from the shaft as the main roller. First and second return devices act on the principal and auxiliary radial arms respectively so as to bring the auxiliary rollers into contact with main roller, and first and second stop members are provided to stop the auxiliary rollers when either moves in a direction from the roller in question towards the main roller.
