SE HACE REACCIONAR URAZOL O UN URAZOL MONO SUSTITUIDO, CON EPIHALOHIDRINAS CON SUBSECUENTE DISOCIACION DE HALURO DE HIDROGENO O CON HALUROS DE ALILO CON SUBSIGUIENTE EPOXIDACION DE LOS DOBLES ENLACES ALILO; EN CASO DESEADO, SE TRANSFORMA EL GRUPO EPOXI DE UNO DE LOS RESTOS DE GLICIDILO DEL COMPUESTO TRIGLICIDIL-URAZOL OBTENIDO EN UN RESTO QUE CONTENGA CARBONO, HIDROGENO Y OPCIONALMENTE HETEROATOMOS. LA TEMPERATURA DE REACCION ES DE 50 A 150<025>C DURANTE UN TIEMPO DE 1 A 10 HORAS, TENIENDO LUGAR EN PRESENCIA DE DISOLVENTES, PUDIENDO EMPLEARSE UN EXCESO DE REACTANTE LIQUIDO EN PARTICULAR EPIHALOHIDRINA COMO DISOLVENTE; ADICIONALMENTE ESTA PRESENTE DE 0,1 A 10% EN PESO DE COMPUESTO DE AMONIO CUATERNARIO, REFERIDO AL URAZOL.
