Abstract

Un método de producir una tela no tejida que comprende un velo de capa única de fibras tendidas en un dibujo repetido de áreas de alta densidad de fibras, en las que las fibras están en una orientación aleatoria y cada una de las cuales está rodeada por áreas de baja densidad de fibras, que irradian desde, e interconectan, las áreas de alta densidad de fibras en ocho direcciones y están compuestas de cordones de fibras generalmente paralelas que, no obstante, están lo suficientemente extendidas como para hacer al velo sustancialmente desprovisto de aberturas, comprendiendo dicho método depositar fibras sobre una corriente soportada por fluido por encima, de un tamiz transportador móvil a través de dos juegos superpuestos de barras listadoras paralelas distanciadas entre sí, que se extienden respectivamente de modo longitudinal y a través del tamiz.
