Abstract

The method allows iron-core inductors to be produced with an inductance which is subject to tight tolerances. The adjustment (trimming) which is required for this purpose has been carried out, in the case of inductors having two core stacks which can be displaced with respect to one another within tight limits, with the aid of a pressure-loaded roller by means of which the core stacks were displaced with respect to one another on a sufficient part of the length of the inductor, and the air gap was thus reduced. This adjusting (trimming) principle is now used in conjunction with an inductor (6) having an E/I-shaped jacket core in that the I-shaped stack is permanently bent on a part of its length.
