Abstract

1,044,525. Transformers and inductors. H. W. FIELD & SON Ltd., and F. L. TREBY. July 17, 1963 [July 17, 1962], No. 27366/62. Heading H1T. The laminations 5 of a transformer or inductor core are formed with interengaging projections 3 and depressions 2. These may be formed by circular depressions or by embossed channels diagonal to or along the edges of the laminations. The laminations 5 may be held together by flanges 8 (Fig. 8) on a housing member 7. Alternatively, through bolts, screws or rivets may be used.
