Abstract

Un depósito de almacenamiento mar adentro que comprende: una envuelta vertical cilíndrica circular, un fondo rígido continuo horizontal que contiene lastre sólido, unido a la envuelta y destinado a descansar sobre el fondo del mar, siendo dicha envuelta vertical suficientemente alta para que sobresalga por encima de la superficie del mar , en una altura adecuada para que la envuelta contenga, cuando está llena, un líquida hasta un nivel de líquido por encima del nivel del mar para proporcionar una presión que, juntamente con la presión debida al peso del depósito, sea adecuada para retener en posición el depósito durante condiciones de tormenta en el emplazamiento en que se haya de situar el depósito, y siendo capaz dicha envuelta vertical, solamente cuando está complementada por dicha presión de líquido interna, de soportar condiciones de tormenta sin aplastarse cuando el depósito descansa sobre el fondo del mar.
