Abstract

Procedimiento para la fabricación de un catalizador para la fabricación de la hidroxilamina, consistente en el empleo de un catalizador de platino, eventualmente con aditivos de metales nobles, depositado sobre un soporte inerte, destinado a la fabricación de hidroxilamina, por reducción , habitualmente, del monóxido , eventualmente del bióxido o del trióxido de azoe, del ácido azótico, del ión azoado o de los nitritos de alkilo, con hidrógeno, caracterizado por lo que sigue: en la solución concentrada de ácido hexacloroplatinico, llevado a la ebullición , se añade un coloide de protección, como la gelatina, el gluten o la goma arábiga y enseguida, al soporte inerte, preferentemente grafito en polvo; en la pasta resultante se reduce el ácido hexacloroplatinico a la temperatura de 30 a 100ºC, durante un mínimo de 5 minutos con formaldehido en exceso, en medio fuertemente alcalino, preferentemente el hidrógeno de sodio después de lo cual la pasta es dejada en reposo a la temperatura de +10a +100ºC durante, al menos 15 minutos; filtrando después, y el catalizador, es lavado con agua, sobre el filtro; el catalizador lavado y húmedo es activado por la puesta en contacto intensiva, con hidrógeno, en medio ácido preferentemente ácido sulfúrico diluido, a la temperatura de + 20 a 105ºC, durante 5 minutos, al menos, en presencia de una pequeña cantidad de cloruro férrico.
