Abstract
Método para preparar alfa olefinas lineales (LAO) mediante oligomerización del etileno en presencia de un disolvente y un catalizador homogéneo, que comprende las etapas de: (i) colocación del etileno, disolvente y catalizador en un reactor de oligomerización, (ii) oligomerización del etileno en el reactor, (iii) remoción de un flujo de salida del reactor que comprende un disolvente, alfa olefinas lineales, etileno, y catalizador del reactor mediante un sistema de tuberías de salida del reactor, (iv) transferencia del flujo de salida del reactor a una etapa de desactivación y remoción del catalizador, y (v) desactivación y remoción del catalizador del flujo de salida del reactor, caracterizado por que se agrega al menos una amina orgánica en el sistema de tuberías de salida del reactor donde la amina orgánica se remueve del flujo de salida del reactor mediante destilación, extracción o absorción y la amina orgánica removida se recicla en el sistema de tuberías de salida del reactor, la amina orgánica es soluble en fase orgánica que contiene alfa olefinas lineales y la amina orgánica no es soluble o tiene baja solubilidad en agua o una mezcla de agua y elementos cáusticos, y donde el catalizador se desactiva mediante elementos cáusticos.
