Abstract

La invención se refiere a un procedimiento para regular un generador (34), en particular, un generador de corriente trifásica para automóvil. Dicho generador incluye una bobina de excitación (10) atravesada por la corriente de excitación regulable (IE), empleada para producir el campo de excitación, y bobinas de estator (11, 12, 13), en las cuales se generan corrientes que se encaminan a los consumidores a través de moduladores de amplitud de pulso (22). El control del modulador de amplitud de pulso permite modificar el valor y la fase de la corriente del estator de manera tan marcada, con respecto a los de la corriente de excitación, que la potencia de salida del generador se optimiza en las gamas de velocidad requeridas.
