Abstract

Procedimiento para la extracción y purificación de Paclitaxel a partir de una fuente natural de taxanos que contienen dicho Paclitaxel que ha de ser extraído, comprendiendo dicho procedimiento las siguientes etapas: a) extraer con un solvente orgánico, una materia prima que contiene Paclitaxel a partir de dicha fuente natural de taxanos; b) tratar dicha materia prima en un medio básico o un medio acídico con el fin de obtener una biomasa por precipitación, aislando dicha biomasa y secándola; c) percolorar la biomasa así aislada mediante extracción de la resina y de los pigmentos naturales contenidos en la misma, disolviendo dicha biomasa en acetona y añadiendo a continuación a la misma al menos un solvente no polar hasta que se obtenga una fase aceitosa enriquecida con Paclitaxel; d) tratar la biomasa contenida en la fase aceitosa enriquecida con Paclitaxel recuperada en la etapa anterior, con un medio acídico cuando el tratamiento de la etapa (b) ha sido llevado a cabo con un medio básico,o con un medio básico cuando del el tratamiento de la etapa (b) ha sido llevado a cabo con un medio acídico, con el fin de obtener otra biomasa por precipitación, aislando dicha otra biomasa y secándola; e) purificar cromatográficamente, al menos una vez, una solución de la otra biomasa aislada obtenida en la etapa anterior en un solvente volátil, y cristalizar, al menos una vez, la solución purificada obtenida por cromatografía.
