Abstract

Mejoras introducidas en la patente de invención P 9900616 por "sistema de arranque en frío de motores diesel de inyección directa rápidos". Basadas en la utilización de resistencias eléctricas para llevar a cabo un calentamiento del aire necesario para el proceso de combustión del propio motor, en el arranque de éste, consisten en estructurar cada una de dichas resistencias (7) en forma de cinta continua, de reducido espesor y considerable anchura, con una trayectoria acusadamente serpenteante, de manera que la resistencia (7) se distribuye uniformemente en un orificio (3) para paso de aire establecido en el soporte (1) de la misma y presenta sus caras mayores situadas en imaginarios planos paralelos al eje de dicho orificio (3), de manera que la resistencia eléctrica ofrece al paso del aire su borde frontal (20), con una pérdida de carga mínima, prácticamente despreciable, a la vez que ofrece una amplia superficie de contacto con el aire, para una mejor transferencia de calor. La resistencia (7) se fija al soporte (1) en escotaduras arqueadas (4) definidas en zonas diametralmente opuestas de éste último, que se abren hacia el orificio (3) de paso de aire, con interposición de respectivos aislantes cerámicos (8), conexionándose a masa por uno de sus extremos (10) y por su otro extremo (17) al cable de alimentación eléctrica (18).
