Abstract

Un recipiente (10) para usar en un horno de microondas, comprendiendo: (a) una bandeja (20) que comprende una pared inferior (21), y - una pared lateral continua (22) unida a dicha pared inferior (21), la cual se extiende hacia arriba desde la pared inferior (21), de modo que dicha pared inferior y la pared lateral definen una cavidad interior (23); y (b) medios de soporte (3) para proporcionar soporte a un bloque de alimento congelado (5), siendo dichos medios de soporte aptos para ser colocados dentro de la cavidad (23) a fin de mantener el bloque de alimento en una posición alzada con respecto a la pared inferior y formar así un predeterminado espacio vertical (6), entre la pared inferior (21) de la bandeja y el alimento congelado mientras se calienta el alimento congelado, estando hechos los medios de soporte de un material sustancialmente transparente a las microondas, en el cual - la pared inferior (21) y por lo menos parte dela pared lateral (22) comprende, como mínimo, una capa protectora continua que delimita horizontal y periféricamente el espacio libre (6), debajo del bloque de alimento, de manera que refleja totalmente los haces de microondas hacia el bloque de alimento.
