Abstract

Procedimiento para la producción de óxido de propileno. Un procedimiento para producir óxido de propileno que comprende la reacción de una solución de materia prima que es una solución de hidroperóxido de etilbenceno en etilbenceno obtenido por autoxidación en fase líquida de estilbenceno con propileno en presencia de un catalizador sólido con contenido en Ti para dar óxido de propileno, siendo dicha solución de materia prima una solución preparada por levado de una solución de hidroperóxido de etilbenceno en etilbenceno obtenido por autoxidación en fase líquida de etilbenceno con una solución alcalina acuosa para alcanzar una concentración de ácido láctico de 5 ppm en peso o menos.
