LOS COMPUESTOS ELIMINAN LOS LARGOS TIEMPOS DE FRAGUADO DE MATERIALES BASADOS EN CEMENTO PORTLAND, Y MEJORAN LA FUERZA DE SUSPENSION DE LOS MISMOS. EL PRODUCTO SE OBTIENE MEDIANTE LA MEZCLA EN SECO DE UNA MEZCLA DE CEMENTO PORTLAND, ESTUCO (HEMIHIDRATO DE SULFATO CALCICO) Y, OPCIONALMENTE, UN RETARDADOR DE FRAGUADO DE ESTUCO Y AGREGADO DE POLIESTIRENO DESMENUZADO. AL PRODUCIRSE LA ADICION DE AGUA, SE FORMAN MORTEROS ROCIABLES QUE PUEDEN BOMBEARSE AL PUNTO DE APLICACION. SE AÑADE UN ACELERADOR MUY CERCA DEL PUNTO DE INYECCION. TAMBIEN PUEDEN INCLUIRSE OTROS ADITIVOS, TALES COMO ALMIDON, ADHESIVOS Y AMPLIFICADORES DE LA RESISTENCIA DEL CEMENTO.
