PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA OBTENCION DE ESPUMAS DE POLIURETANO. PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA OBTENCION DE ESPUMAS DE POLIURETANO A PARTIR DEL POLIOL E ISOCIANATO Y EN PRESENCIA DE UN CATALIZADOR, UN AGENTE DE SOPLADO Y OPCIONALMENTE DE ADITIVOS CARACTERIZADO PORQUE SE SUSTITUYE HASTA UN 60 POR CIENTO DEL POLIOL NECESARIO POR UNA RESINA NATURAL TAL COMO COLOFONIA O MIERA PREVIAMENTE LICUADA POR ADICION DE UN DISOLVENTE ADECUADO TAL COMO DIETILENGLICOL O ESENCIA DE TREMENTINA. EL PROCEDIMIENTO COMPRENDE BASICAMENTE LAS ETAPAS DE LICUAR EN CALIENTE UNA RESINA NATURAL POR ADICION DE UN DISOLVENTE ADECUADO Y MEZCLARLA CON POLIOL AL OBJETO DE OBTENER UNA MEZCLA "POLIOL-COLOFONIA LICUADA" QUE CONTIENE PREFERENTEMENTE UN 60 POR CIENTO DE COLOFONIA Y UN 40 POR CIENTO DE POLIOL. POSTERIORMENTE DICHA MEZCLA REACCIONA CON UN ISOCIANATO EN PRESENCIA DEL CATALIZADOR, EL AGENTE DE SOPLADO Y LOS ADITIVOS CORRESPONDIENTES. COMO AGENTE DE SOPLADO PUEDE UTILIZARSE AGUA PARA EVITAR LOS PROBLEMAS MEDIOAMBIENTALES ASOCIADOSCON UN CFC''S, AGENTES DE SOPLADO HABITUALMENTE UTILIZADOS EN ESTE TIPO DE PROCEDIMIENTOS. LA ESPUMA DE POLIURETANO PUEDE UTILIZARSE COMO AISLANTE TERMICO O ACUSTICO Y EN LA FABRICACION DE SILLONES Y COMPONENTES DE AUTOMOVILES.
