LA INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA OBTENCION DE UN CATALIZADOR UTIL EN LA ISOMERIZACION DE PARAFINAS LIGERAS, BASADO FUNDAMENTALMENTE EN EL TRATAMIENTO ACIDO DE UNA MORDENITA SINTETICA A TEMPERATURAS ENTRE 40 Y 100 C SEGUIDO DE UN TRATAMIENTO CON VAPOR-AIRE A TEMPERATURAS ENTRE 300 Y 600 C QUE PERMITE OPTIMIZAR LA RELACION SIO2/AL2O3 DE RED Y LA CANTIDAD DE ALUMINIO EXTRARED DE LA ZEOLITA. LA MORDENITA ASI OBTENIDA SE MEZCLA CON UN OXIDO REFRACTARIO INORGANICO, TAL COMO AL2O3 Y SE CARGA CON UN METAL DEL GRUPO VIII, FUNDAMENTALMENTE PT, EN UNA CANTIDAD ENTRE 0,1 Y 0,5% EN PESO REFERIDO AL CATALIZADOR FINAL.
