Abstract

Dispositivo para-mechas, aplicable a máquinas de hilar continuas y adaptado individualmente a cada huso, caracterizado por comprender una varilla basculante por la que pasa el hilo o hebra a la salida de los cilindros de estiraje, cuya varilla actúa sobre un interruptor eléctrico en caso de rotura del hilo, al modificar su posición por la falta de tensado de éste, en cuyo momento el interruptor abre el circuito eléctrico que alimenta a un electro-imán situado a la entrada de los cilindros de estiraje, cuya armadura comporta un elemento que actúa de freno sobre la mecha que ha de entrar en los cilindros, impidiendo su avance instantáneamente hasta que no se haya enhebrado nuevamente el hilo o hebra, ya que de esta manera vuelve a tenerse el hilo haciendo recuperar a la varilla tensora su posición de trabajo, por lo que se interrumpe la alimentación del electro-imán.
