Definitions
- the present invention relates to a self-loading pistol comprising a barrel, a slide and a guide for the slide fixed in a handle, a lock being provided between the barrel and the slide, so that after the weapon has been fired, the slide in the guide counteracts the force of a spring slides back over a first distance together with the barrel against the firing direction, the locking comprising at least one element assigned to the barrel and at least one element assigned to the slide, which interlock in the locking position, further comprising devices for releasing the lock between the barrel and the slide, so on that after releasing the lock, the carriage slides back over a further distance without the barrel.
- the Beretta 92 self-loading pistol is known, which is a recoil-operated pistol with a barrel that slides back briefly.
- This weapon has a ratchet lock with a swivel barrel lock. With this well-known locking system, the barrel and slide slide back together after the shot has been fired.
- Pistols of the Beretta 92 type follow the principle of the so-called swing bolt lock.
- Locking systems for self-loading pistols of the Browning type have also been known for a long time, such as in the US 1,618,510 A described.
- the barrel's swivel bolt After a short rewind, the barrel's swivel bolt reaches a base in the handle and is swung downwards by the pressure of the recoil spring underneath the barrel, where it comes to a standstill.
- the locking lugs now come out of their recesses in the breech, which separates from the barrel and continues to run back on its own.
- the empty cartridge case is pulled out of the barrel by the extractor and thrown out of the weapon.
- the carriage re-tensiones the hammer.
- the object of the invention is to provide a self-loading pistol with the features of the type mentioned at the outset, in which a simpler constructed locking mechanism is provided.
- a locking ring is provided as the locking element assigned to the barrel, which is in engagement with the slide in the locking position, with this locking ring executing a rotational movement about the axis of the barrel when the locking is released.
- a locking mechanism is provided for the locking between the barrel and the slide via a rotary movement of a locking ring that can be rotated about the barrel axis.
- the solution according to the invention is structurally comparatively simple. It has the advantage that the barrel remains on one axis during the unlocking or locking process and the aiming device remains connected to the barrel.
- the locking ring has a radially outwardly projecting projection which, in the locking position, engages in a recess in the slide.
- the aforementioned mechanism for releasing the locking comprises a groove in a guide block, which is part of the guide, this groove extending along a control cam and a control bolt being provided which engages in the groove, wherein in During the first phase of the movement of the barrel sliding back together with the slide, the control pin moves along the control cam of the groove, which leads to a rotational movement of the locking ring and thus and to the release of the lock between the barrel and the slide. After releasing this lock, the barrel remains in the corresponding position while the slide slides further backwards so that the cartridge case is ejected.
- the control bolt is fixed in a radial groove or bore of the locking ring, that is, for example, pressed into a bore of the locking ring, so that the movement and displacement of the control bolt in the control cam results in a rotation of the locking ring about its axis which corresponds to the running axis.
- the locking ring is taken along and caused to rotate.
- the outwardly projecting projection of the locking ring moves out of a recess in the upper side area of the slide, whereby the engagement between the slide and the barrel is released and further axial movement of the slide is now possible while the barrel remains in this position .
- a guide rod connected to the guide block can serve as a guide for the spring, which is compressed as the carriage slides back.
- grooves in the grip of the weapon can serve as a guide for the sliding slide.
- Said guide rod is preferably arranged below the carriage and the Guide rod is preferably fixed at one end to the guide block via a transversely extending bolt or the like and fixed in the handle of the weapon.
- This guide block can, for example, be slightly widened on the top.
- the locking ring is preferably mounted on the barrel, which is concentric to the inside of the barrel. During its rotation in the course of unlocking or locking the breech, the breech ring, which has a partially hollow cylindrical geometry, rotates relative to the barrel about the barrel axis.
- the breech ring is preferably disposed in a rear portion of the barrel and at least partially concentrically surrounds a rear portion of the barrel.
- the guide for the carriage includes a guide rod connected at one end to the guide block during its sliding movement.
- This guide rod can in turn be used as a bearing for the spring, which serves as a return spring for the slide sliding backwards.
- This return spring is usually a compression spring that is compressed between part of the slide and the guide block when the slide slides back due to the recoil after the shot has been fired.
- this compression spring concentrically surrounds the guide rod on which it is mounted.
- the compression of the compression spring is preferably caused via a front section of the carriage, which compresses the compression spring as the carriage slides back, while the guide rod, which is surrounded by the compression spring, remains stationary since it is fixed to the guide block at its other end.
- Figure 4 shows a top view and Figure 5 a longitudinal section through the gun.
- This includes a barrel 5, which receives a cartridge in the usual way in its rear end region via the cartridge chamber, as in Figure 5 is shown showing the pistol after loading and before firing the cartridge.
- the front sight 6 is attached to the top, which together with the rear sight 7 forms the aiming device in the rear area of the weapon.
- the locking ring 3 is arranged, which surrounds the barrel 5 concentrically.
- the reference number 1 denotes the carriage, which extends below the barrel 5 and laterally next to the barrel 5 on both sides.
- Below the slide is the handle 8 of the weapon, to which the trigger mechanism 9 of the pistol is attached and which accommodates the magazine 10 in its rear area.
- the guide 2 is located below the carriage 1 and is connected to the handle 8.
- This guide 2 comprises a guide block 11 and a guide rod 12 which extends forward from the guide block 11 and which usually serves as a guide for the return spring 13 in pistols of this type, which concentrically surrounds the guide rod 12 and when the slide 1 moves on it Guide rod is guided.
- guide 2 remains with the guide block 11 and the guide rod 12 in their position because they are firmly connected to the handle 8.
- the return spring 13 is attached in such a way that when the carriage 1 slides back, it is caught by a bend at its front end and is thereby taken along and compressed by the carriage.
- FIGs 1 a , 1 b and 1c show the slide 1 of the pistol according to the invention in three views, namely in a side view, a horizontal longitudinal section and a vertical cross section at the level of the locking ring 3.
- the slide 1 is in Figure 1 a shown in the frontmost position in which the slide 1 is locked to the barrel 5.
- the locking occurs through the engagement between locking ring 3 and slide 1.
- the return spring is relaxed.
- In the longitudinal section according to Figure 1c you can see the position of the control bolt 4 pressed into the locking ring 3, which is also in Figure 1 b is recognizable.
- Figure 1 b You can also see the groove 14 with the control cam, in which the control bolt shifts when the carriage 1 slides back.
- the groove 14 lies in the guide block 11 of the guide 2.
- FIGs 1 d to 1 f show in similar views as that Figures 1a to 1c the slide 1, but now in the position in which the slide 1 has slid back a little together with the barrel 5 after the weapon has been fired.
- You can in Figure 1 e when compared with the Figure 1 b You can clearly see that due to this sliding back of the carriage 1, the control bolt 4 has moved into the groove 14 with the control cam. This movement of the control bolt 4 can also be seen if you look at both Figures 1 c and 1 f compares with each other. It can be seen that the control bolt here moves in a kind of circumferential movement relative to the barrel axis and since the control bolt 4 is pressed into the locking ring 3, this causes the locking ring 3 to rotate about the barrel axis.
- FIGs 1g to 1i show in similar views as that Figures 1 d to 1 f the slide 1, but now in the position in which the slide 1 has slid further back after releasing the lock between locking ring 3 and slide 1 and thus without the barrel 5. It can be seen that the return spring 13 has now been strongly compressed.
- the guide rod 12 projects far forward as seen from the carriage 1.
- the carriage 1 is in its rearmost position and, viewed from the fixed guide block of the guide 2, projects far back.
- Run 5 takes, as can be seen by comparing Figure 1g with Figure 1 d recognizes the same position as in Figure 1 d , he therefore did not slide further backwards with the slide 1, since the connection between the slide 1 and barrel 5 was released by releasing the lock.
- the grain 6 is connected to the front area of the barrel 5 and is therefore in the same position as in Figure 1 d.
- the position of the control bolt 4 is in Figure 1h also compared to Figure 1 e unchanged.
- FIGS 2a to 2d show the barrel 5 and the locking ring 3 in two views each Figures 2 a and 2 b each in the front position of the barrel 5, in the two Figures 2c and 2d each in the position of the barrel 5 that has slid back a short distance, the carriage 1 not being shown in the views.
- the barrel 5 in perspective from the side and from the front, so that you look at the muzzle.
- the locking ring 3 with the guide block is shown in a perspective seen from below.
- FIG 4 The weapon is shown in a top view in a state in which the slide 1 as well as the barrel 5 are each in the frontmost position and the locking ring 3 locks the slide 1 and barrel 5 together.
- Figure 5 shows it Figure 4 corresponding longitudinal section through the pistol, whereby it is ready to fire and a cartridge has already been loaded into the barrel 5.
- the basic structure of the pistol according to the invention has already been explained above using the illustration Figure 5 explained.

Description
The present invention relates to a self-loading pistol comprising a barrel, a slide and a guide for the slide fixed in a handle, a lock being provided between the barrel and the slide, so that after the weapon has been fired, the slide in the guide counteracts the force of a spring slides back over a first distance together with the barrel against the firing direction, the locking comprising at least one element assigned to the barrel and at least one element assigned to the slide, which interlock in the locking position, further comprising devices for releasing the lock between the barrel and the slide, so on that after releasing the lock, the carriage slides back over a further distance without the barrel.

The object of the invention is to provide a self-loading pistol with the features of the type mentioned at the outset, in which a simpler constructed locking mechanism is provided.
The solution to this problem is provided by a self-loading pistol of the type mentioned at the beginning with the features of
According to the invention, a locking ring is provided as the locking element assigned to the barrel, which is in engagement with the slide in the locking position, with this locking ring executing a rotational movement about the axis of the barrel when the locking is released.
In the solution according to the invention, instead of the swivel bolt lock known from the prior art, a locking mechanism is provided for the locking between the barrel and the slide via a rotary movement of a locking ring that can be rotated about the barrel axis. The solution according to the invention is structurally comparatively simple. It has the advantage that the barrel remains on one axis during the unlocking or locking process and the aiming device remains connected to the barrel.
According to a preferred development of the invention, the locking ring has a radially outwardly projecting projection which, in the locking position, engages in a recess in the slide. When the slide returns after firing the shot, the slide initially slides together with the barrel and the locking ring over a first, short distance towards the rear against the direction of the shot, with the slide and barrel being connected to one another due to the locking via the locking ring, since the slide runs radially outwards protruding projection of the locking ring engages in the recess of the slide. After this first short distance has been covered, the lock is released using a suitable mechanism and the carriage slides further backwards while the barrel stops.
According to a preferred development of the present invention, the aforementioned mechanism for releasing the locking comprises a groove in a guide block, which is part of the guide, this groove extending along a control cam and a control bolt being provided which engages in the groove, wherein in During the first phase of the movement of the barrel sliding back together with the slide, the control pin moves along the control cam of the groove, which leads to a rotational movement of the locking ring and thus and to the release of the lock between the barrel and the slide. After releasing this lock, the barrel remains in the corresponding position while the slide slides further backwards so that the cartridge case is ejected. After reaching the rear end position, the movement of the carriage reverses and the carriage slides forward again, this movement being caused by the force of the return spring, which was previously compressed and now relaxes. A new cartridge is loaded into the chamber. The slide reaches the position where it hits the barrel and locking occurs, in which the engagement between the breech ring and the slide is restored, with the control pin moving back to the starting position in the groove along the control cam. Finally, the slide and barrel slide back to the starting position and the weapon is ready to fire.
Preferably, according to a development of the present invention, the control bolt is fixed in a radial groove or bore of the locking ring, that is, for example, pressed into a bore of the locking ring, so that the movement and displacement of the control bolt in the control cam results in a rotation of the locking ring about its axis which corresponds to the running axis. When the control bolt moves forcibly along the control cam, the locking ring is taken along and caused to rotate. The outwardly projecting projection of the locking ring moves out of a recess in the upper side area of the slide, whereby the engagement between the slide and the barrel is released and further axial movement of the slide is now possible while the barrel remains in this position .
A guide rod connected to the guide block can serve as a guide for the spring, which is compressed as the carriage slides back. For example, grooves in the grip of the weapon can serve as a guide for the sliding slide. Said guide rod is preferably arranged below the carriage and the Guide rod is preferably fixed at one end to the guide block via a transversely extending bolt or the like and fixed in the handle of the weapon.
This guide block can, for example, be slightly widened on the top. The locking ring is preferably mounted on the barrel, which is concentric to the inside of the barrel. During its rotation in the course of unlocking or locking the breech, the breech ring, which has a partially hollow cylindrical geometry, rotates relative to the barrel about the barrel axis.
The breech ring is preferably disposed in a rear portion of the barrel and at least partially concentrically surrounds a rear portion of the barrel.
Furthermore, it is advantageous if the guide for the carriage includes a guide rod connected at one end to the guide block during its sliding movement. This guide rod can in turn be used as a bearing for the spring, which serves as a return spring for the slide sliding backwards. This return spring is usually a compression spring that is compressed between part of the slide and the guide block when the slide slides back due to the recoil after the shot has been fired. In this preferred design variant, this compression spring concentrically surrounds the guide rod on which it is mounted. The compression of the compression spring is preferably caused via a front section of the carriage, which compresses the compression spring as the carriage slides back, while the guide rod, which is surrounded by the compression spring, remains stationary since it is fixed to the guide block at its other end.
The features mentioned in the subclaims relate to preferred developments of the solution to the problem according to the invention. Further advantages of the invention result from the following detailed description.
The present invention is described in more detail below using exemplary embodiments with reference to the accompanying drawings.
