Definitions

  • the present invention relates to the field of rechargeable packaging devices for cosmetic products.
  • cosmetic product we mean in particular all products for skin makeup, including lips, and all compositions intended for body application, including so-called care products such as moisturizing creams. It relates in particular to the field of refills for rechargeable cosmetic product packaging devices.
  • a packaging device for a cosmetic product generally refers to any container used to contain a cosmetic product for its conservation, transport, marketing, or use. These are, for example, designated pots, bottles, cases, etc. used to contain a cosmetic product.
  • refill is meant a removable element comprising a tank adapted to contain a cosmetic product, and which can be put in place and removed from a shell which forms the external surface of the refillable device for packaging a cosmetic product consisting of a shell and a recharge.
  • the refill Once in place in the hull, the refill must be properly held in the hull. In particular, it is necessary to prevent the refill from escaping from the shell, during its transport or its use during which the pot can take any orientation, in particular a complete overturning of the packaging device, whether this results from 'a voluntary action or not. In addition, the refill must not move in the shell when using the conditioning device. The refill must remain fixed when the product is dispensed, for example when the user takes product from the refill.
  • the refill must be able to be easily removed from the shell for replacement.
  • Known rechargeable packaging devices generally include systems for maintaining the recharge in the shell which are visible and unaesthetic, and/or which require industrially complex or costly adaptations.
  • the document JP2013119399 thus discloses a jar of cosmetic product comprising a refill whose tank is of generally cylindrical shape of revolution and has reliefs which slide, by correspondence of shape, in vertical grooves formed in the shell of the jar to prevent the tank from rotating.
  • the document EP0661012 also discloses a refill pot device, comprising an inner tank or container which engages by shape correspondence in an outer container forming a shell, the inner container being able in particular to include a peripheral bead which cooperates with a groove formed inside from the neck of the outer container.
  • WO2019058087 also discloses a refill pot device of similar configuration, comprising an inner tank or container which engages by shape correspondence in an outer container forming a shell, the shell comprising a peripheral bead which cooperates with a groove formed on the outer surface of tank.
  • the upper part of the shell has a neck comprising slots into which radial beads of the tank are introduced to allow the latter to remain in rotation.
  • the refill conditioning devices known in the state of the art are based on a shape correspondence between the shell and the refill, which allows for example by clipping (that is to say snap-in or other relative mechanical engagement ) maintaining the recharge in the hull.
  • This requires a particular conformation of the shell and the refill, which prevents, for example, the ability to use a conventionally shaped shell, such as a standard glass container, to form a refillable packaging device, and, similarly, prevents it from being used.
  • the invention aims to solve all or part of the aforementioned problems.
  • the invention relates to a shell for a refillable device for packaging a cosmetic product which is adapted to receive a refill adapted to contain the cosmetic product.
  • the shell includes an opening forming a neck, this opening being adapted to receive the refill in order to place it in a receiving volume defined by an interior wall of the shell.
  • the shell further comprises a ring linked to the neck, said ring extending over at least a portion of the interior wall of the shell forming said neck.
  • the ring has an interior surface with which is linked to an element of elastomeric material which is at least partly in relief vis-à-vis said interior surface of the ring.
  • the shell thus formed is able to maintain a refill of suitable shape, thanks to the element made of elastomeric material.
  • the hold obtained, nevertheless allowing the extraction of the refill, uses the elastic properties and the coefficient of friction of the elastomeric material.
  • Implementing recharging is therefore very simple.
  • the element made of elastomeric material being carried on a ring attached and linked to the shell, the invention can be implemented on shells of very varied constitutions and shapes.
  • the element made of elastomeric material can be overmolded on the ring.
  • the ring may be formed from a plastic material.
  • the ring and the element made of elastomeric material that it presents can be formed together by bi-material injection.
  • the ring can thus be produced by known and controlled industrial processes, which provide good cohesion between the ring and the element of elastomeric material which it carries.
  • the elastomeric material used may be an elastomeric thermoplastic or an elastomeric silicone. It can have a hardness between 20 degrees shore and 80 degrees shore, and preferably between 40 degrees shore and 60 degrees shore. The elastomeric material used and its hardness allow it to deform under reasonable effort, compatible with the application to a cosmetic product refill.
  • the element made of elastomeric material can form discrete pads distributed over the surface of the interior wall of the shell.
  • the element made of elastomeric material can form at least two studs and preferably at least three studs distributed over a periphery of the surface of the interior surface of the ring in its part located on the surface of the interior wall of the neck of the shell.
  • the element made of elastomeric material can extend in one or more bands parallel to the opening of the shell.
  • the reception volume can be of generally cylindrical shape of revolution, or frustoconical, or straight prismatic.
  • the shell can be made mainly of plastic, glass, stainless steel, aluminum, or wood.
  • the shell can be formed from one of the aforementioned materials, with the exception of the ring and the element made of elastomeric material.
  • the shell has an aesthetic appearance which can be essential in the field of cosmetic products.
  • the ring can be linked to the neck of the shell by clipping and/or gluing. Any other known rigid and reliable connection method can be used.
  • this bonding be made between the ring and the external wall of the shell, and/or between the ring and the internal wall of the shell, and/or on the periphery of the neck of the hull.
  • the invention also relates to a packaging device for a cosmetic product comprising a shell as previously defined, a refill in which the refill comprises a side wall having a clearance with respect to the interior wall of the shell, except at the level of all or part of the element made of elastomeric material, so that support zones of the element made of elastomeric material on said side wall of the refill are formed.
  • the means allowing this maintenance can be invisible (if the hull is opaque) or at the very least very discreet, so that they do not harm the aesthetic of the pot that is made up.
  • the element made of elastomeric material can be deformed in said support zones by compression on the side wall of the refill, compared to a configuration that the element made of elastomeric material adopts in the absence of external stresses.
  • the deformation of the element made of elastomeric material on the support zones increases the force which it exerts on the interior surface of the shell, and thus increases the friction which opposes the extraction of the refill.
  • the side wall of the refill is devoid of roughness such as grooves, orifices, pins or snap rings, at least in a zone of interaction of said side wall with the element made of elastomeric material .
  • the side wall of the refill is devoid of roughness below an element of the tank intended to come into vertical support on the shell (edge, peripheral bead, etc.).
  • maintaining the recharge does not does not require forming on it any particular shape intended to cooperate with means of holding the shell.
  • the refill tank of which is filled with a cosmetic product the shell and the refill can be configured so that the force necessary for extracting the refill is greater or equal to twice, and preferably greater than or equal to two and a half times the weight of the refill.
  • the shape, dimensions and constitution of the element made of elastomeric material are configured so as to obtain the force necessary for extracting the desired refill.
  • This holding force allows relatively easy removal of the refill for replacement. It corresponds to a desirable specification for classic cosmetic product jars.
  • the tank may include a cover linked by snap-fastening or screwing to the rest of said tank. This allows portable use of the tank alone, without the shell, to transport the cosmetic product it contains.
  • the packaging device may in particular be a pot, for example a pot of cream.
  • FIG. 1 represents, in a three-dimensional view, a first example of a refill 1 adapted to be used in a refillable cosmetic product packaging device conforming to one embodiment of the invention.
  • the refill 1 comprises a tank 2 which is hollow, that is to say whose shape provides a volume suitable for receiving a cosmetic product.
  • the tank 2 has a general cylindrical shape, which can be straight or slightly flared (truncated cone). Any hollow shape can nevertheless be considered to form the tank, in particular any straight prismatic shape, in particular having a square, rectangular, pentagonal, hexagonal, octagonal base, etc.
  • the tank 2 has in particular a side wall 3 and a bottom 4.
  • the tank has, in the example shown, an upper edge 5.
  • the edge 5 is formed around an open face 6 of the tank 2.
  • the edge 5 can project, that is to say it forms a rim at the periphery of the open face 6.
  • a rim can allow the clipping of a cap onto the tank 2.
  • Such a rim can also form a support zone for the tank when it is inserted into a corresponding shell.
  • the tank 2 has a thread 15 allowing the adaptation of a cap screwed onto the tank. Tank 2 can thus be used on its own, independently of the shell described below in section figure 2 , in order to transport the cosmetic product it contains.
  • a cosmetic product for example a cream
  • the open face 6 of the tank can be covered with a removable cap, for example a product protection tablet, for example supported on the rim 5 and/or on a shoulder formed in the upper part of the tank.
  • the tank can also include a cover, for example heat-sealed, covering the open face 6 and which must be removed during the first use of the refill.
  • the open face can be free, directly exposing the product contained in the tank 2 of the refill, or be provided with a regulating device such as a sieve, a net, or other device adapted to the product to be distributed.
  • the refill thus has a simple form.
  • the refill and in particular its side wall 3 and more particularly the external surface 7 of this side wall 3, is devoid of roughness or other means of latching.
  • roughness we mean a volume, relief or hollow, formed on a surface and of dimensions much greater than any roughness linked to the constituent material of said surface.
  • the side wall surface 3 in particular does not have any grooves, any orifices, any pins or any snap rings.
  • the side wall 3 nevertheless includes a peripheral bead 16 providing a support surface.
  • the side wall 3 is thus devoid of any means of latching with respect to a shell adapted to receive the tank 2, as detailed below.
  • the refill can thus be easily produced, or can consist of a standard container, for example a plastic, glass, or stainless steel pot.
  • the cost of manufacturing the tank (and ultimately the packaging device) can thus be reduced, compared to packaging devices whose tank must include specific fixing elements in a shell.

  • a bottomless shell 8 can be advantageous to facilitate the extraction of the refill. More particularly, the shell 8 comprises according to the present invention a ring 17 which is linked to the neck 11.
