- a headband consisting of a material with lower elasticity, which consists of a front headband and a back of the head band, the front headband running around at least the front of the wearer's head and the back of the head band on the The back of the wearer's head is located, and at least one top band is provided that extends over the top of the wearer's head.
- the invention further relates to a headgear with such a head suspension.
- a head suspension is z. B. in the GB2098459B disclosed.
- the head suspension described there has a head band consisting of a front head band and a back head band.
- a rubber-mounted length compensation mechanism is provided between the front headband and the back of the head, which connects the front of the headband and the back of the head and ensures that the length of the headband is elastically stretchable.
- an upper head band is provided, which is connected to headgear, in this case a protective helmet, via connecting parts.
- the upper head strap consists of several individual straps and is intended to absorb the force that occurs in the event of an impact on the protective helmet.
- the invention is based on the object of providing a head suspension with improved wearing comfort.
- the head suspension according to the invention for a headgear preferably a respiratory hood, comprises a headband with a front headband and a back-of-the-head band, the front-head band running around at least the front of the head of a wearer and the back-of-the-head band being located on the back of the wearer's head, and at least one upper head band being provided is that extends over the top of the wearer's head, with the top of the head band having higher elasticity than the front and back of the head band.
- the top band also has a lower rigidity or a higher flexibility than the front and/or back of the head band.
- the wearing comfort of the head suspension increases significantly. Side effects such as cutting the edges of the harness as well as pressure points or bruising can be prevented.
- a component with higher elasticity is understood to mean a component that has a multiple increase in length in the direction of expansion when force is applied compared to a component with lower elasticity.
- the direction of expansion is the direction of the respective component in which the component is predominantly stressed during normal use.
- the direction of stretch corresponds to the longitudinal direction of the band.
- the elasticity of the bands depends in particular on the geometry (length, width, thickness, recesses, grooves, etc.) and on the material used.
- top band is made of a rubber-elastic material.
- a rubber-elastic top band can be used to cushion the forces that arise, for example, from a movement of the wearer's head, in a particularly comfortable manner.
- the top band consists of 71% PES and 29% elastodiene and preferably has an elongation of over 10%, preferably over 50%, and an elongation of less than 150%, in particular an elongation of 95%.
- the material thickness of the top band is preferably between 1 millimeter and 3 millimeters, the width is preferably between 20 millimeters and 40 millimeters.
- the top band is in particular a textile rubber band.
- the back of the head band is made of a different material than the front and/or top of the head band, in particular the back of the head band is made of a more wear-resistant material than the front and/or top of the head band.
- the material of the front head band has a lower torsional and bending strength than the material of the back head band.
- the material from which the front headband is made is a fiber-reinforced plastic.
- the Shore hardness of the front headband is advantageously more than 5 Shore-D and less than 70 Shore-D, in particular less than 60 Shore-D.
- the material from which the front headband is made is a thermoplastic elastomer, preferably with a surface resistance between 10 4 and 10 9 ohms.
- the average material thickness of the front headband is, for example, between 2 millimeters and 4 millimeters, and the width is between 20 millimeters and 40 millimeters.
- the material from which the back of the head band is made is preferably polyamide with a tensile modulus of elasticity between 600 MPa and 2000 MPa.
- the Shore hardness of the back of the head band is advantageously more than 80 Shore-D, in particular more than 83 Shore-D, and less than 120 Shore-D.
- the area of the cross section of the occipital band is more than 1% of the cross sectional area of the front head band and not more than 50%, preferably not more than 30%.
- upper head band sections in particular three upper head band sections, are guided over the top of the wearer's head, preferably with the paths of the upper head band sections overlapping once and / or the upper head band sections form a coherent upper head band. It is particularly advantageous if the upper head sections are connected to one another at the ends, preferably in one piece. This design provides a particularly simple and therefore cost-effective solution.
- the unloaded front headband has, at least in some areas, a convex curvature in an area that can come into contact directly or indirectly against the wearer's forehead when worn, which extends along the length of the front headband.
- a convex curvature prevents the edges of the front headband from being cut.
- the unloaded front headband has a concave curvature at least in some areas in an area that can come into contact directly or indirectly on the lateral sides of the wearer's head when worn, whereby the Curve extending along the length of the front headband.
- the concave curvature towards the top and bottom of the front headband changes to an opposite curvature. This design improves the contact with the wearer's head.
- the convex curvature and/or the concave curvature deforms with a reduction in the curvature or against the curvature when forces act in the longitudinal direction on the front headband and/or recesses are provided on the headband in the longitudinal direction, which are preferably suitable for this , to increase the elasticity or flexibility of the headband in the vertical direction.
- forces occur in particular when the headband is worn by the wearer, the headband being attached to the wearer's head by reducing the inner circumference.
- the front headband is designed in such a way that it partially does not come into contact with the wearer's head in the area that is arranged on the wearer's temples when worn.
- the term temple does not refer to the anatomical area of the temporal bone, but rather the area that is commonly known as the temple and is particularly sensitive to pressure. This refers to an area that lies cranially above the transverse plane at eye level, approximately the area where the frontal bone meets the parietal bone.
- the inside of the front headband can be at least partially set back in this area (reset area).
- the front headband can also have less flexibility in this area than in the connected areas. This design reduces the pressure on the sensitive area of the temples, which improves wearing comfort.
- the back of the head band is connected to the front head band via swivel joints, preferably with the swivel joints being able to be firmly locked in several rotational positions. It is also preferred if the back of the head band has a length adjustment, via which the length of the back of the head band can be adjusted. Such a design achieves optimal adaptability of the headband to the wearer's head.
- the force acts on the back of the wearer's head in the lower area of the back of the head, as the head suspension is thereby additionally pulled downwards.
- the swivel joints must be locked.
- the back of the head band has a high level of rigidity in order to keep the back of the head bands in the correct place even when force is applied.
- the length adjustment is used to change the inner circumference, which allows the head suspension to be attached to the wearer's head. The described design thus improves the wearing comfort and the attachment of the head suspension.
- the front headband may have end portions that extend toward the back of the head after a connection point at which the front headband and the back of the head band are connected to each other when the headgear is worn. Such end sections create an attachment to the headgear and the top band, through which the forces acting are distributed particularly well.
- the upper head band is guided through connecting slots in the front head band, preferably with the ends of the upper head band being loosely clamped in the connecting slots on the front head band, so that the length of the upper head band can be adjusted by releasing the clamping.
- the length of the top head band By adjusting the length of the top head band, the distance between the headgear and the head suspension can be changed particularly easily and adapted to the shape or size of the head.
- the upper head band can be designed in such a way that it is guided through front connecting slots in the front head band in the area that is arranged on the wearer's temples when worn and/or the upper head band is guided through rear connecting slots in the front head band.
- the rear connecting slots are preferably located in the end portions of the front headband which extend toward the back of the head after a connection point at which the front headband and the back of the head band are connected to each other when the headgear is worn. In this way, a particularly advantageous distribution of force can be achieved.
- the front headband can be designed in such a way that, in the area which is arranged on the wearer's temples when worn, it has front connecting means for connection to the headgear, which extend upwards and / or two rear ones Connecting means are provided for connection to the headgear.
- the rear connecting means are preferably located in the end portions of the front headband which extend toward the back of the head after a connection point at which the front headband and the back of the head band are connected to each other when the head suspension is worn.
- the appropriate connecting means achieve particularly good power transmission between the head suspension and the headgear.
- rear connecting means can be provided for connection to the headgear, which are formed by longitudinal slots into which a fastening part of the headgear can engage, preferably wherein the fastening part can be arranged to be displaceable along the longitudinal slots.
- the longitudinal slits allow the length of the headband and headgear to be adjusted, making it possible to adapt to different head sizes and shapes.
- Headgear in particular a breathing hood with a head suspension as described, is particularly advantageous, since this is usually worn continuously for a long period of time and the wearing comfort is improved by such a head suspension.
- FIGs 1 and 2 is a head suspension 1 for an in Figure 7 Headgear 2 shown, preferably a respiratory protection hood 3 ( Figure 7 ) shown.
- Headgear 2 shown, preferably a respiratory protection hood 3 ( Figure 7 ) shown.
- a headband 4 out Components with lower elasticity, consisting of a front head band 5 and a back of the head band 6, the front head band 5 running around at least the front of the head 7 of a wearer and the back of the head band 6 being located on the back of the head 7 of the wearer.
- the top band 8 is rubber-elastic.
- upper head band sections 9 are shown, in particular three upper head band sections 9, which are guided over the top of the wearer's head 7. The webs of the upper head band sections 9 overlap once and form a continuous, one-piece upper head band 8.
- the back of the head band 6 is connected to the front head band 5 via swivel joints 15.
- the swivel joints 15 can be firmly locked in several rotational positions.
- the back of the head band 6 has a length adjustment 16, via which the length of the back of the head band 6 can be adjusted.
- the front head band 5 has end sections 17 which extend towards the back of the head after a connection point 18 at which the front head band 5 and the back of the head band 6 are connected to one another.
- the upper head band 8 is guided through connecting slots 19 in the front head band 5.
- the ends of the top band 20 are loosely clamped in the connecting slots 19 on the front head band 5, so that the length of the top band 8 can be adjusted by releasing the clamp.
- FIG 3 a front headband 5 is shown in a stretched state, with the Figures 4 and 5 show the sectional views drawn in this figure.
- Figure 3 is also shown that the inside of the front headband 5 is at least partially set back in an area 14, which is arranged on the temples 26 of the wearer when worn. Due to this measure, the setback area 14 does not come into contact with the head 7 of the wearer when the head suspension 1 is worn. In addition, the front headband 5 has less flexibility in this setback area 14 than in the connected areas. How out Figure 1 As can be seen, this is achieved by creating depressions 13 in other areas of the front headband 5 are, in this area 14 are not introduced.
- the top head band 8 is designed in such a way that it is guided through front connecting slots 21 in the front head band 5 in the area that is arranged on the wearer's temples 26 when worn.
- the upper head band 8 is also guided through rear connecting slots 22 in the front head band 5.
- the rear connecting slots 22 are located in the end sections 17 of the front headband 5, the end sections 17 being located after the in Figure 1 connection point 18 shown, at which the front headband 5 and the back of the head band 6 are connected to one another, extend in the direction of the back of the head.
- the front headband 5 is designed in such a way that in the area that is arranged on the wearer's temples 26 when worn, it has front connecting means 23 for connection to the headgear 2, which extend upwards. - the fastening part is arranged to be displaceable along the longitudinal slots 25.
- the front headband 5 has, at least in some areas, a convex curvature 10 in an area that can come into contact directly or indirectly against the wearer's forehead when worn, which extends along the length of the front headband 5.
- the unloaded front headband 5 is in an area that is directly or indirectly attached to the in Figure 6 shown lateral sides 11 of the head 7 of a wearer can come into contact, at least in some areas having a concave curvature 12 which extends along the length of the front headband 5.
- the front headband 5 is designed in such a way that the convex curvature 10 and/or the concave curvature 12 deforms against the curvature 10, 12 when forces act on the front headband 5 in the longitudinal direction.
- the Headband 4 in the Figures 1 , 4 and 5 shown depressions 13 in the longitudinal direction, which are suitable for increasing the flexibility of the headband 4 in the vertical direction.

- the visor 27 is connected, directly or indirectly, to the head suspension 1 via two additional swivel joints 30 and can be folded upwards via the additional swivel joints 30. It is advantageous here if the transparent part of the visor 27 can be easily changed in order to replace it with a new part if it becomes dirty.
- the clear part is made from a clear, transparent plastic part.
- the respiratory protection hood 3 has a hood cloth 28 that delimits the respiratory protection hood 3 from the environment at least in some areas in such a way that an overpressure is created in the respiratory protection hood 3, which prevents particles or pollutants from the outside from penetrating into the interior of the respiratory protection hood 3 .

- Fig. 1
- Fig. 2
- eine perspektivische Ansicht einer Kopfaufhängung,
- Fig. 3
- Fig. 4
- eine Schnittansicht des Kopfbandes im Stirnbereich,
- Fig. 5
- eine Schnittansicht des Kopfbandes im Schläfenbereich,
- Fig. 6

- Fig. 7
- eine perspektivische Ansicht einer Atemschutzhaube.
- In
- In
- In
- In
