Definitions
- the invention relates to a shoe, in particular a sports shoe, with an upper and a sole part connected to the upper, the sole part having a sole body with a bottom area and a lateral wall area, the bottom area and the wall area forming a receiving space open at the top, the receiving space is filled with a bulk material, wherein the bulk material consists at least partially, preferably completely, of a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), wherein the filled receiving space is closed with a closure body and the closure body is a knitted fabric which forms a lattice structure. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for manufacturing such a shoe.
- TPE thermoplastic elastomer
- a shoe of the generic type is from US 2016/0007675 A1 known. Similar solutions are shown in U.S. 2009/0313853 A1 and the U.S. 5,617,650 A .
- a shoe with a multi-layer sole structure, but without the use of bulk material, is disclosed in WO 2008/003375 A1 .
- a shoe of a similar kind is from WO 2017/097315 A1 known.
- Foamed plastic balls are arranged in a sole element, which has a cavity, and are held in the cavity by a closure element.
- the sole produced in this way is attached to the shoe upper tied together.
- the closure element is formed by a film which enables the wearer's foot to feel the plastic balls loosely located in the cavity.
- the invention is therefore based on the object of developing a shoe of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that a further improved wearing comfort can be achieved. At the same time, an economical method for manufacturing the shoe is to be provided.
- the lattice structure of the closure body has a mesh size of at least 0.75 mm and at most 2.0 mm, with spherical or ellipsoidal bodies being used as bulk material, with the dimensions of the body of the bulk material be between 3 mm and 6 mm in the three spatial directions, with the closure body being provided with a reinforcement layer in its edge region, with the reinforcement layer running around the entire peripheral region of the closure body and with a reinforcement plate with spring-elastic properties being arranged in the bottom region of the sole body in order to support walking movement.
- the mesh size of the lattice structure of the closure body is preferably largely constant over the extent of the closure body.
- the closure body is preferably designed as a flat fabric structure.
- a fabric structure in the form of a Leno fabric has proven particularly useful here.
- a plurality of weft threads are provided extending in a longitudinal direction; a plurality of warp threads extend perpendicularly thereto.
- the warp threads are wrapped around the weft threads in order to obtain high strength of the fabric.
- the fabric structure is preferably formed by a fiber-reinforced thread.
- An air- and moisture-permeable membrane can be arranged above and/or below the closure body.
- orientation “bottom” and “top” refers to a shoe when its sole is on the ground.
- the closure body can be directly or indirectly glued and/or sewn to the sole body.
- a reinforcement plate is arranged in the bottom area of the sole body.
- the reinforcement plate forms a top layer that reinforces the sole structure and prevents sink marks.
- the shoe upper can be glued and/or sewn to the sole part.
- the shoe upper preferably has an upper section which is sewn to a strobel sole at the bottom.
- the reinforcement layer mentioned above can be formed by a glued film. It preferably runs around the entire peripheral area of the closure body as an edge seam with a width of between 0.5 cm and 2.5 cm.
- the bodies of the bulk material can also be designed as hollow bodies. It is provided that the mesh size of the lattice structure is smaller than the dimensions of the body of the bulk material.
- the bodies of the bulk material preferably consist of foamed thermoplastic elastomer.
- thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), thermoplastic polyamide (TPA) and/or thermoplastic elastomer based on olefins (TPO) are intended, with the materials mentioned being in particular expanded (foamed).
- a peripheral frame is arranged in the upper end area of the wall area of the sole body, which is connected, in particular glued, to the sole body, the frame having a bearing surface for the closure body and specifically its edge area.
- the lattice structure of the closure body that is used enables a stable manufacturing process to be achieved, which reliably retains the particles of the bulk material in the cavity of the sole element.
- the upper part of the shoe upper is produced in a classic manner, with the lower area, which runs underneath the sole of the foot of the wearer of the shoe, being, for example, a strobel sole (as explained above), which is connected to the upper part of the shoe upper, for example is sewn up.
- a strobel sole as explained above
- the sole part is preferably produced as an injection molded part or as a thermoformed part.
- At least one web-like structure is formed on the floor area, which extends into the receiving space.
- This web-like structure forms wall areas within the receiving space, which counteract the free mobility of the loosely filled bulk material and hold it in certain areas of the receiving space. This can have a positive effect on the running feeling when wearing the shoe.
- the web-like structure mentioned allows the sole to optimally support the foot in certain applications when used as intended under load. This can be relevant from the point of view that otherwise the (plastic) bodies located inside the receiving space of the sole part do not offer a great support function for the foot as a result of the fact that they are not connected to one another but arranged loosely.
- the plastic bodies preferably have a hardness of between 75 and 90 Shore A, preferably between 80 and 85 Shore A. They preferably have a bulk density of between 100 and 300 kg/m 3 .
- E-TPU expanded thermoplastic polyurethane
- This material is known per se and is used in shoes. It is available, for example, under the name “PearlFoam” from Huntsman International LLC or under the name “Infinergy” from BASF SE. This material is expressly referred to the WO 2005/066250 A1 referenced, where you can find details about this material, i.e. about expandable thermoplastic polyurethanes and their production.
- thermoplastic polymer blend which contains thermoplastic polyurethane and styrene polymer.
- the polymer blend can contain at least one other thermoplastic polymer.
- polyamide (PA), polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), polycarbonate (PC), polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), cellulose or polyoxymethylene (POM) come into consideration as a further thermoplastic polymer.
- the sole part preferably consists of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), polyamide (PA) and/or rubber material.
- TPU thermoplastic polyurethane
- TPE thermoplastic elastomer
- PA polyamide
- the plastic bodies are placed in the receiving space of the sole part without being connected to one another. Accordingly, the individual spheres or ellipsoids are not connected to one another by any means, but are placed loosely in the receiving space of the sole part.
- the bulk material is preferably placed in the full pack and preferably under slight pressure in the receiving space of the sole part.
- the mentioned sole part can also be provided with an outsole on the underside.
- thermoplastic elastomers in contrast to conventional polymers are used as loose bulk material in the cavity of the sole, the friction properties between the individual particles result in favorable conditions, since they do not slide along one another in an undesired manner, but have a certain strength despite their loose arrangement provide when the wearer's foot deforms the bulk material. An optimal compromise is thus achieved between a certain massaging effect on the one hand and adequate support for the foot during use of the shoe on the other hand.
- a shoe 1 in figure 1 a shoe 1 can be seen, which has an upper part 2 and a sole part 3, which are connected to one another (as shown in figure 1 cannot be seen due to the exploded view).
- the designations "top” and “bottom” refer to the intended use of the shoe or when it is standing on the ground.
- the direction of the vertical V and the longitudinal direction L of the shoe 1 are shown.
- the sole part 3 has a sole body 4 which has a bottom area 5 and a wall area 6 with a peripheral edge, so that the bottom area and the wall area delimit a receiving space 7 which is designed and provided for receiving bulk material 8 .
- the sole body 4 can be produced, for example, by an injection molding process or by a thermoforming process.
- the receiving space 7 is filled with bulk material 8, which in figure 1 is only implied.
- the bulk material 8 is introduced into the receiving space 7 in a complete packing and optionally under slight pressure. Then the receiving space 7 is closed by attaching a closure body 9 so that the bulk material 8 is fixed in the receiving space 7 .
- the closure body 9 is a knitted fabric that forms a lattice structure, the lattice structure having a mesh width wi, w 2 (see Fig. figure 1 ) of at least 0.5 mm.
- the distance between the individual threads of the lattice structure in the longitudinal direction L is denoted by the mesh size w 1 and said distance perpendicularly thereto by the mesh size w 2 .
- the mesh sizes w 1 and w 2 can be the same, but do not have to be. It is essential that the specified value of at least 0.5 mm is maintained, which is essential for improved wearing comfort.
- the shoe upper 2 is then placed on the sole part 3 prepared in this way and the sole part 3 is connected to the shoe upper 2 .
- This can be done by sewing and/or gluing.
- the lower area of the shoe upper 2 is now lying - via the closure body 9 - on the bulk material 8, so that when using the shoe a pleasant walking feeling arises.
- any material can be used as the bulk material 8 (e.g. including sand), while spheres or ellipsoids made of foamed plastic material are preferred; Details are noted above.
- the first thing to be mentioned here is a reinforcement plate 10, which is placed in the bottom area 5 of the sole body 4 in order to give the sole improved rigidity.
- the reinforcement plate 10 is one with spring-elastic properties in order to support the walking movement.
- this consists of a material (woven or knitted material) which is connected to a strobel sole 12 at the bottom; in figure 2 a seam is indicated schematically between the section 11 and the strobel sole 12 .
- a special design of the closure body 9 (lattice structure) is also particularly worth mentioning: In a peripheral edge region, it has a reinforcement layer 13 which is realized by an applied foil.
- the film can be glued on or connected to the closure body 9 by a thermal process.
- a frame 16 is fastened to the upper end of the wall area 6 of the sole body 4 , which is designed as an oval ring-shaped structure and corresponds to the shape of the upper edge of the wall area 6 .
- the frame 16 is connected to the upper end of the wall area 6, for example glued.
- the frame 16 has a bearing surface 17 on which the closure body 9 rests with its edge.
- the closure body 9 is glued to the frame 16 or fastened in some other way.
- the sole part 3 includes in the embodiment figure 2 also an outsole 14; an insole 15 is inserted into the interior of the shoe upper 2 .
- the spring and damping behavior of the shoe and especially the sole can be influenced.
- a similar composite of individual bodies can also be produced by embedding the individual bodies in a plastic foam, in particular polyurethane foam, thus creating a structure that can be used to construct the shoe sole.

Description
US 2016/0007675 A1 bekannt. Ähnliche Lösungen zeigen dieUS 2009/0313853 A1 und dieUS 5 617 650 A .
- a) Herstellen eines Schuhoberteils;
- b1) Bereitstellen eines Sohlenkörpers mit einem Bodenbereich und einem seitlichen Wandbereich, wobei der Bodenbereich und der Wandbereich einen oben offenen Aufnahmeraum bildet;
- b2) Füllen des Aufnahmeraums mit einem Schüttgut, wobei das Schüttgut zumindest teilweise, vorzugsweise vollständig, aus einem thermoplastischen Elastomer (TPE) besteht wobei als Schüttgut kugelförmig oder ellipsoid ausgebildete Körper verwendet werden, wobei die Abmessungen der Körper des Schüttguts in den drei Raumrichtungen zwischen 3 mm und 6 mm betragen;
- b3) Verschließen des gefüllten Aufnahmeraums mit einem Verschlusskörper, wobei als Verschlusskörper ein Gewirk verwendet wird, welches eine Gitterstruktur bildet, wobei die Gitterstruktur eine Maschenweite zwischen 0,75 mm und 2,0 mm aufweist, wobei der Verschlusskörper in seinem Randbereich mit einer Verstärkungsschicht versehen ist, wobei die Verstärkungsschicht um den gesamten Umfangsbereich des Verschlusskörpers umläuft und wobei im Bodenbereich des Sohlenkörpers eine Verstärkungsplatte mit federelastischen Eigenschaften angeordnet ist, um die Laufbewegung zu unterstützen;
Polyoxymethylen (POM) in Frage.
- Fig. 1
- Fig. 2
- In
- In
