Zum Verschwenken eines Flügels weisen die Führungsschienen eine Auslassöffnung zum Ausklinken eines Auflagerelementes bzw. eines Führungsschlitten eines Flügels auf. Ein Schiebe- und Drehflügelsystem der vorstehenden Art ist beispielsweise in der EP 2 546 441 A1 beschrieben. Ein äußerer Flügel des Schiebe- und Drehflügelsystems fungiert als Türflügel, der im eingeklinkten Zustand aller übrigen Flügel in die verbleibende Öffnung einschwenkbar ist, wodurch die Front- oder Raumteilung vollständig verschlossen ist.
