Definitions

  • the present invention relates generally to a furniture and more particularly, to a base seat adapted for being used with a bed, a chair or a sofa and provided with a function of swinging in any direction, i.e. universal direction.
  • JPS6253613A discloses a chair, comprising a bottom of the seat to be positioned above a hanging part, formed in a holding frame, and a support rising part of the support frame to which the seat is connected in the upper part is arranged in a front-back direction.
  • the structure is such that the suspension frame extends from above the upper two halves toward the four hanging portions formed in the lower corner, and the holding frame has a holding rising portion from the lower halves in the left-right direction.
  • the supporting frame is suspended from the holding frame by the four suspenders, so that the structure is directed to the four hanging portions formed in the upper corner.
  • US2007129156 A1 discloses a child motion device with a frame assembly configured to rest on a floor surface.
  • the device also has a drive system that drives a swing assembly.
  • the swing assembly can include a pair of swing arms having proximal ends and distal ends. The distal ends support a child seat assembly. The distance between the distal ends relative to the distance between proximal ends is adjustable, thereby adjusting at least one motion characteristic of the device.
  • the adjustable motion characteristics can include a gliding motion and a swinging motion.
  • US5263677 discloses a suspension framework for a chair or piece of sleeping furniture, which is able to oscillate, is comprised of a support member, which is connected to the sitting or sleeping surface and arranged on both sides thereof, and which is connected with a base support member, via rope-type pendulums.
  • At least two rope-type pendulums engage the support member on each side thereof. This will enable, in a system having satisfactory stability characteristics, a high degree of sensitivity in response to very minute movements of the human body or under oscillating conditions occurring in the human body that is seemingly at rest.
  • the present invention has been accomplished in view of the above-noted circumstances. It is an objective of the present invention to provide a base seat for being used with a bed, chair or sofa, which can swing in any direction, i.e. universal direction, or at least multi-directions, thereby preventing users from feeling bored and/or fatigue due to a monotone swinging motion.
  • Another objective of the present invention is to provide a base seat for being used with a bed, chair or sofa, which has proper variable inclined angles during swinging, such that users may feel easy and comfortable to fully relax.
  • the present invention provides a base seat, which is adapted for being used with a bed, a chair or a sofa, comprising a fixation base, a first rocking mount, a first drive device, a second rocking mount, and a second drive device.
