Am unteren Ende des Stiels 2 ist ein Batteriefach 5 vorgesehen, in welches ein Energiespeicher, also ein Akkumulator oder eine Batterie, austauschbar eingelegt ist. Elektrische Komponenten innerhalb des Stiels sind mit einem Epoxidharz vergossen, so dass die Erschütterung von Schlägen des Beils die Verbindungen zwischen den Komponenten sowie die Komponenten selbst nicht beschädigen. Prinzipiell arbeitet der Linienlaser 7 entsprechend der LED 6, indem er eine geformte Leuchtspur in der Ebene des Stiels 2 und des Kopfes 3 des Handwerkzeugs 1 projiziert. Allerdings kann die Manschette 8 mithilfe von Verschlüssen 9, die hier als Verschlussbänder ausgeführt sind, die um den Stiel 2 herum gelegt und festgezogen werden, befestigt und gelöst werden. dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Leuchtmittel eine länglich geformte Leuchtspur (4) projizieren, welche mit dem Stiel (2) und dem Kopf (3) in einer gemeinsamen Ebene liegt.
