Abstract

From the prior art, hand tools are known which are provided with illumination means for operating with corresponding hand tools even in the case of unfavorable visibility. For this purpose, such hand tools are equipped with diffuse light sources at various locations, in particular on the handle or the head, which light sources are intended to illuminate the surroundings. But this does not allow targeted illumination of the workpiece during tapping, or even the assistance of the orientation of the hand tool. On this basis, the invention proposes to project a shaped light track which illuminates the workpiece during the entire tapping movement. This solution provides at least one lighting element which is connected to the hand tool and can project a shaped light path.

Description

Hand tool and lighting fixture support for connecting with hand tool
Technical Field
The invention relates to a hand tool comprising a head connected to a handle, wherein the handle and/or the head are provided with a lighting device for illuminating a workpiece and at least one energy store for supplying power to the lighting device, and to a lighting device holder for connecting to a hand tool, wherein the head is a hammer head or an axe blade.
Background
Such hand tools with lighting elements are well known in the art. Thus, documents CN 104416539A, CN 105215946A, CN 105666423A, CN 108436845A, CN 204322022U, CN 204471326U, CN 205237989U, CN 205852851U, CN 207344510U, CN 207616512U, CN 208930172U or KR 20160099199A relate to various hammers and axes that achieve illumination in the handle, enabling use in the dark. In said document, such illumination is described as diffuse, i.e. illuminating the entire circumference of the hand tool in all directions.
Whereas a smaller lighting effect is obtained by documents CN 103737555A, CN 201565927U, CN 201849415U, JPH 10201439A or FR 2 626 698 A2 which relate to safety tools, i.e. hammers for breaking window glass in case of emergency in order to, for example, leave a bus or train in which an accident occurs through the broken window. But such lighting elements are also known from other tools. The flashlight according to CN 203068159U and also according to DE 202 12 529 U1 is therefore used for illumination, but can also be used as a hand-held tool, even as a hand-held weapon. In this case, however, the lighting function and the tool/weapon function must be completely separated from one another and cannot be used together.
In DE 10 2011 075 663 A1 and in DE 10 2012 274 A1 the illumination of the working area is effective, but in the working machine described therein, i.e. the electric screwdriver, the contour of the working area to be illuminated is very clear and the workpiece is sufficiently illuminated because the tool guide is sufficient to project a small light spot. The same is true in US 7,093,951 B2 or US 8,714,765 B2.
Similarly illuminated hand tools are also known from DE 20 2004 017 968 U1 and CA 2 460 858 A1, in which a cutting tool is involved.
However, all these objects are not suitable for assisting the user in illuminating the workpiece in particular during tapping, or even for specifying the tapping trajectory provided for the illumination device. To the extent that only points that are visible are illuminated, these are illuminated only temporarily at the time of a tap, so that such a light point is not useful. In diffuse lighting, the illumination is weak and does not contribute to the directional tapping.
Disclosure of Invention
In this context, it is an object of the invention to provide a hand tool and a lighting fixture holder which can be connected to a conventional hand tool and which serves the same purpose, wherein better target accuracy and workpiece viewing can be achieved even in the case of poor visibility.
This is achieved by a hand tool according to the features of the independent claim 1 and a luminaire holder according to the features of the dependent claim 11. Further advantageous embodiments can be derived from the dependent claims.
Thus, according to the invention, a hand tool is proposed, which is essentially made of a handle and a head, the handle, the head or both being provided with a lighting means, which projects an elongated shaped light track. The projection is in a common plane with the handle and the head, so that the movement of the hand tool can advantageously take place in this plane. This illumination then discretely illuminates the entire path of the tap and predetermines the tap path, and the workpiece can be clearly seen.
The illumination angle can be at least 90 °, preferably at least 180 °, particularly preferably at least 270 °, wherein a plurality of lighting fixtures can be used together to achieve this angle. These lighting fixtures may be mounted, for example, on the front side, the end side and the rear side of the handle at the same time, so as not to obstruct the lighting and at the same time not to obstruct the user.
Particularly preferably, such a configuration can be provided on a hand tool which is guided along a striking arc, in particular a hammer, hammer or axe. Accordingly, the head of such a hand tool is a hammer head, a hammer blade or an axe blade.
In a first embodiment, the lighting device can be integrated into the hand tool itself. When the hand tool is made of a sufficiently strong material, a hand tool with a hollow handle is provided. In this case, a cavity for accommodating the lighting device, the electronic or electrical component and the energy accumulator can be provided in the material, which is accommodated and loaded in the handle, but at the same time can also be arranged in a protected manner therein. The energy accumulator can be mounted in such a way that it is accessible from the outside to a receptacle for the energy accumulator, or can be connected to a charging socket which is led out and via which the energy accumulator can be supplied with energy.
However, the second embodiment provides that the lighting device and the energy accumulator as well as the associated electronic or electrical components are arranged in a detachable lighting device holder. The luminaire holder can be designed such that it can be fitted to the handle or the head of a hand tool.
Coatings preferably made of an elastic material, such as silicone, are used in particular for fixing; the collar has a locking element, which can be a hook and loop fastener, a buckle, a collar or the like, or a clamping shell, which is held in a clamping manner on the handle or the head of the hand tool on the basis of a positive and a non-positive fit.
When fastening to the head and the handle, when integrating in the handle or when fastening releasably to the hand tool, the lighting device, the energy store and the electronic and electrical components are subjected to strong vibrations when striking, so that it is advantageous to reduce the vibration effect as much as possible. This can be achieved by casting the parts, for example with epoxy.
It may be advantageous to use light emitting diodes, so called light emitting diodes or LEDs, as the lighting fixture. It is very resistant to vibrations, since it has no particularly filigree elements and is itself particularly resistant to knocking. The same applies to fluorescent elements that emit light upon energization based on chemical reactions. In principle, however, all lighting fixtures having light-emitting elements can be used in the present invention.
Particularly preferably, lasers, in particular linear lasers, can be used as lighting means. The laser can particularly well predetermine the shaped light track in the case of a resetting of the illumination effect, so that a straight-line tap is possible. At least one further laser may be added to it in order to establish a target intersection, wherein the further laser line intersects the first laser line in the plane of the handle and the head when the further laser line impinges on the workpiece.
It is particularly advantageous if the other laser lines move during the tapping, either because the projection angle is compensated during the tapping movement or because the machine moves during this. It is advantageous for the personalization of the hand tool that a scheme, namely the zero position, is predefined and stored.
In principle, the lighting fixtures used, such as lasers, are already capable of emitting shaped, defined light traces therefrom. If this is not the case, the lighting device can be equipped for this purpose with shaped prisms, reflectors, deflectors or other optical aids which shape the emitted light into discrete light traces.
The main body of the invention has the lighting fixture holder as a separate unit in addition to the hand tool with integrated or releasable lighting. It can be provided with a conventional hand tool as required. The features of the luminaire holder described above relate to a luminaire holder which is assigned to a hand tool and a separately embodied luminaire holder.

Detailed Description
Fig. 1 shows a hand tool 1, which is embodied as an axe. The axe is mainly composed of a handle 2 and a head 3, wherein the head 3 is forged and forms an axe blade. Integrated in the handle 2 above the usual holding position is an LED6, which emits a shaped light track 4 on the basis of a prism (not shown here) arranged upstream. The light track 4 is here elongate and lies in the plane of the handle 2 and head 3, whereby the user can illuminate the entire striking arc during a swing to see in front of it. At the lower end of the handle 2, a battery compartment 5 is provided, in which an energy accumulator, i.e. a battery or a battery, is exchangeably inserted. The electrical components inside the handle are injection molded with epoxy, whereby the knocking vibrations of the axe do not affect the connections between the components as well as the components themselves.
Fig. 2 shows an alternative design based on a conventional axe. A collar 8 is fixed on the handle 2 of the axe, the collar carrying the required electronic components. The electronic components are in particular the linear laser 7 as a variant using the LED6, as well as the energy store for supplying the linear laser 7 and the additional electrical and electronic components required for this purpose. In principle, the linear laser 7 operates according to an LED6, which projects a shaped light track in the plane of the handle 2 and the head 3 of the hand tool 1. The collar 8 can be fixed and released by means of a locking element 9, which is embodied here as a locking band, which is arranged around the handle 2 and tightened. This enables the hand tool 1 to work optionally with or without the invention and in particular also to be retrofitted on conventional hand tools 1.
The foregoing therefore describes a hand tool and functionally equivalent lighting fixture mount for connection to a hand tool, in which better target accuracy and workpiece viewing can be achieved even in the event of poor visibility.
