Edge tape cassette according to one of the preceding claims characterised in that the winding core comprises an internal clamping device (3) which is configured to exert outwardly directed forces onto an inwardly directed surface (17) of the package wherein the receiving element (1) has a bearing element (10) for rotatably supporting the receiving element (1).
  6. Edge tape cassette according to claim 5 characterised in that the internal clamping device (3) has a number of tension elements (5), in particular acting in the manner of clamping jaws, and which in order to fix the wound edge tape (2) can be tensioned against the inwardly directed surface (17) of the package.
  7. Edge tape cassette according to claim 6 characterised in that the tension elements (5) for fixing the edge tape (2) are guided in displaceable manner on the base body (4) along a tension direction (X) which has at least a radial component in relation to the disc-like extension of the base body (4), in particular wherein the tension direction (X) is oriented at least substantially in the radial direction in relation to the disc-shaped extension of the base body (4).
  8. Edge tape cassette according to one of claims 5 to 7 characterised in that the internal clamping device (3) has a rotational element (8) which is preferably arranged centrally on the disc-like base body (4) and is able to rotate in order to fix the edge tape (2), and wherein the internal clamping device (3) is configured so that rotation of the rotational element (8) relative to the disc-like base body (4) causes the fixing of the edge tape (2), in particular wherein through rotation of the rotational element (8) the tension elements (5) are displaced along their respective tension direction (X).
  9. Edge tape cassette according to one of claims 3 to 8 characterised in that the disc-like base body (4) has a first connecting element (14) and/or the rotational element (8) has a second connecting element (15) in order to fix the edge tape (2) on the receiving element (1).
  10. Receiving element (1) according to one of claims 8 or 9 characterised in that the receiving element (1) has a fixing element (16) for fixing the rotational element (8) relative to the base body (4), in particular wherein the fixing element (16) is configured so that it causes a force-locking block for rotation of the rotational element (8) relative to the base body (4).
  11. Edge tape cassette according to one of the preceding claims characterised in that it has a braking device (24) for braking a rotation of the receiving element (1) and/or a fixing device for blocking the rotation of the receiving element (1) and/or an acceleration device (19, 20, 22) for accelerating a rotation of the receiving element (1), which preferably engages on the base body (4) in the region of the outer edge of the base body (4).
  12. Edge tape cassette according to one of the preceding claims characterised in that the end of the edge tape that lies on the winding core is connected, in particular clamped, or adhesively bonded, to the winding core.
  13. Edge tape cassette according to one of the preceding claims characterised in that this has an exit point at which the free end of the edge tape (2) can be removed from the cassette.
  14. Edge tape cassette according to claim 13 characterised in that the edge tape (2) is guided at the exit point sideways in the region of its narrow sides.
  15. Edge tape cassette according to one of the preceding claims characterised in that it has a clamping device (23) for clamping the free end of the edge tape (2).
  16. Edge tape cassette according to claim 15 characterised in that the clamping device (23) is configured so that the clamping action with respect to the edge tape (2) can be released again.
  17. Edge tape cassette according to claim 15 or 16 characterised in that the clamping device (23) is arranged, in particular on the inside of the cassette housing (18), in the region of the exit of the edge tape from the cassette housing, in particular adjacent the exit point according to claim 15 or 16.
