Definitions

  • the invention relates to the mechanical treatment, in particular the transport and folding of textiles, the term "folding” being to be understood broadly, and the folding and/or arranging of textiles and laundry such as blankets, sheets, but also items of clothing such as shirts, includes.
  • folding being to be understood broadly, and the folding and/or arranging of textiles and laundry such as blankets, sheets, but also items of clothing such as shirts, includes.
  • conveyor devices are required in order to transport the textiles in a folding device one after the other to the various individual folding devices (also called folding stages or folding layers below).
  • belt or belt conveyor devices can be used, such as those published by MHI GmbH on September 1st, 2017 on the website http://mhi-maschinenbau.de/emba-service-2/ersatzmaschine/emba -mini-160-175/richt-undzaehlstation/unterer-einlauf-und-abtransport/ and which have belts or belts (hereinafter also referred to as belts) as means of transport.
  • an object of the present invention is to provide a conveyor device for a folding device for folding textiles, which is characterized by process-reliable, cost- and time-optimized assembly, easy repair access, increased ease of disassembly and pre-testability of individual components of the conveyor device.
  • a first belt conveyor conveys the textile on a first conveying level from the insertion area to a first transfer unit, which feeds the textile to a second conveying level of a second belt conveyor. Seen in the conveying direction of the textile, the second belt conveyor is followed by at least one second transfer unit and then at least one further belt conveyor with a further conveying level.
  • At least two subassemblies are provided, each designed as a modular conveyor unit, in each of which a belt conveyor and in each case at least one transfer unit are integrated.
  • the conveyor device has a modular structure, in that several modular conveyor units are connected to one another, arranged one above the other.
  • the conveying device can thus transport textiles (for example shirts) in a folding device from folding stage to folding stage.
  • the textile can undergo various folds or combinations in the individual folding stages - in the example of the shirt, for example, the supply to a first folding stage for sleeve folds, and subsequent width folds and lengthwise folds - before it reaches the output area and can be removed, stacked or stored folded there is.
  • the individual conveying levels can be aligned and positioned very precisely relative to one another.
  • the conveyor units can preferably be detachably connected to one another, for example in a non-positive and/or positive manner. This gives the conveyor a rigid and stable overall structure, without the need for the side plates mentioned at the outset, which are disadvantageous in various respects.
  • the modular design of the conveyor device according to the invention also offers the advantage that the individual modular conveyor units can be positioned and aligned with one another by suitable means (spacer bushings, adjusting screws and the like). As a result, the conveyor device has reduced tolerance chains in relation to the individual axes of its deflection and drive rollers or deflection and drive rollers.
  • the conveyor units or their belt conveyors can have a wide conveyor belt and/or several narrower conveyor belts.
  • a further advantage of the invention is that the individual modular conveying units can be pre-assembled, which enables cost- and time-optimized assembly with increased process reliability.
  • the conveyor can be simply and easily dismantled by separating the individual modular conveyor units from one another. If a conveyor unit is defective, it can be quickly replaced by an in-stock, standardized modular conveyor unit.
  • the modular design also allows basic components of the respective conveyor units to be designed and manufactured in a standardized manner, so that mass effects result in advantages in terms of costs and manufacturing effort.
  • a plurality of belt conveyors are driven by at least one common drive belt.
  • the maintenance (for example, during transport hooked or jammed textiles) and the repair of the conveyor according to the invention is after a advantageous further development of the invention in that the transfer unit of at least one modular conveyor unit can be pivoted relative to this conveyor unit from its operating position into a service position.
  • the reliable conveyance of the textile in the respective transfer area is further improved in that the transfer unit is spring-loaded in the operating position.
  • the spring preload is applied by one or more conveyor belts of the respective conveyor unit.
  • the versatility of the conveying device according to the invention with regard to different textiles to be conveyed is increased according to an advantageous embodiment of the invention in that a gap is set between a transfer unit and a corresponding belt conveyor, which gap widens depending on the thickness of a conveyed textile.
  • the figures 1 and 2 show a side view and a perspective view of a first exemplary embodiment of a conveyor device according to the invention for a folding device for folding textiles.
  • the conveyor has a feed or insertion area 1 for a (in figure 1 Textile (shown only schematically as a flat piece of laundry) 2 on.
  • a first belt conveyor 3 with a conveyor belt or conveyor belt (hereinafter referred to as a conveyor belt) 4 transports the item of laundry 2 in the direction of the arrow 5.
  • a single or multiple conveyor belts 4 can be provided, which runs over a deflection roller 6 and below one of the upper sides the first conveyor level 8 formed by the belt 4 runs back in an approximately parallel plane 9 and is deflected around a driven deflection roller (drive roller) 12 .
  • a drive of the drive roller 12 via a drive belt 14 by a drive 15 of a drive motor (not shown) is indicated schematically.
  • the deflection rollers 6, 12 are mounted in two opposite side parts 16, 18.
  • the belt conveyor 3 conveys the item of laundry 2 in the direction of the arrow 5 to a first transfer unit 20 .
  • the rollers 25, 26 are mounted with their ends in a side plate 27, 28 respectively.
  • a pivotable lever 30, 31 is articulated on each side plate 27, 28, which is pivotable about one of two pivot points 32, 33 formed pivot axis and in its in the figures 1 and 2 operating position 34 shown is fixed in each case by locking elements 37, 38 engaging behind pins.
  • the belts 22 loop around a partial circumference of the belts 4 of the first belt conveyor 3 running over the deflection roller 6. Seen in the drive direction 40 of the belts 22, the belts 22 loosen again when they leave the area of the deflection roller 6. On the input side, they form an initially tapering minimum gap 43 with the belts 4 in the area 42. The belts 4 then run up to the drive roller 26 and their upper sides form a second conveying plane 45 for textiles. Below that, the belts run in a plane 46 to the deflection roller 25. A second belt conveyor 48 is thus formed. This forms a first subassembly 49 with the transfer unit 20 as an integral component that is firmly connected to it. This subassembly 49 is self-sufficient and represents a first modular conveying unit 50 that can be assembled and tested in advance.
  • the transfer unit 20 can spring open slightly about the pivot points 32, 33 if an item of laundry that has a thickness greater than this minimum gap enters the minimum gap 43 formed between the belts 22 and the belts 4.
  • the locking elements 37, 38 is unlocked, so that the transfer unit 20 can be swiveled counterclockwise in the direction of arrow 52.
  • FIG 1 the further transported item of laundry 2 is indicated on the second conveying level 45 after it has been transferred from the first belt conveyor 3 via the transfer unit 20 to the second belt conveyor 48 and has been transported further on the conveying level 45 in the direction of arrow 54 (for example to a first folding stage not shown in detail).

  • the item of laundry 2' thus enters a minimum gap 68 which (as already explained above in connection with the transfer unit 20) springs open when the thickness of the textile 2' requires this.
  • the spring preload in the transfer units 20, 60 is generated by the tension of the belts 22 and 62, respectively.
  • the transfer unit 60 is followed by another belt conveyor 70 with conveyor belts or belts 72, which circulate over a deflection roller 73 and a drive roller 74, the rollers 73, 74 being mounted in opposite side plates 75, 76.
  • the roller 74 can be mounted displaceably in the direction of the arrow 79 against the force of a spring 78 and the force of a further spring that is not visible here.
