Description

DOMAINE TECHNIQUE DE L'INVENTIONTECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a device for reserving a parking space and protecting the bodywork of a land vehicle and a parking lot comprising it. It applies in particular to the protection of car doors in car parks.

ETAT DE LA TECHNIQUESTATE OF THE ART

It is currently difficult for a parking manager to reserve a parking space on request. For example, you have to send an operator to place an obstacle on the road, which represents a significant labor cost. Alternatively, there are removable terminals in the road, remotely controlled, whose installation cost is prohibitive. In addition, these obstacles or removable terminals obstruct the cleaning machines and impair their effectiveness.

When a car is parked in a parking lot, it risks being knocked about by opening the doors of vehicles parked nearby. These shocks, the aesthetic appearance of which is unpleasant for the owner of the damaged car, entail significant repair costs.

To overcome this drawback, some vehicles have a screwed plastic bar along their length to reduce the impact of the shocks received. However, the current trend of car manufacturers is to remove these side bars on the models of vehicles produced, and this in particular in high-end vehicles. In addition, these side bars only locally protect the body of the vehicle which is equipped with them.

The document EP1295992 describes an electromechanical barrier, which comprises a fixed and rotating movable bar with a shaft supported in a body, and at least one spring balancing means for balancing the bar during its movements between an open and closed position. A secondary shaft is housed in the body parallel to the rotary bar shaft, a drive gear couples the rotary bar shaft to said secondary shaft so that one revolution of the first corresponds to one revolution in proportion to the latter, and said at least one elastic balancing means is connected to said secondary shaft.

OBJET DE L'INVENTIONOBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The present invention aims to remedy all or part of these drawbacks.

A cet effet, la présente invention vise, selon un premier aspect, un dispositif selon la revendication 1.To this end, the present invention relates, according to a first aspect, to a device according to claim 1.

Thanks to these provisions, the device can be suspended from the ceiling of a parking lot and left permanently. In the first position, each protective body prohibits access to a parking space. In the second position, each protective body protects the vehicle body against shocks from movements of the doors of a vehicle parked in a neighboring parking space.

Shocks that can impact a door of a parked vehicle, for example when opening a door of another vehicle, are absorbed by the shock absorption body. In addition, the cleaning of the car park, generally carried out with self-propelled cleaning machines, is not hampered by the device because they do not touch the ground and, in their versions with flexible suspension means, can be retracted or pushed. by the craft. Similarly, the floor paint can be redone without discomfort added by the device object of the present invention.

In embodiments, the control means comprises means for receiving a wireless signal and is configured to control the motorization after a predetermined duration following the reception of said signal.

Thanks to these provisions, the parking manager or the user himself, can remotely control the opening of access to the reserved parking space.

In embodiments, the control means comprises means for receiving a wireless signal and a vehicle approach sensor in a predetermined position facing the support, the control means being configured to control the motorization when the identifier sensor picks up an identifier corresponding to the identifier received by the reception means.

In embodiments, the identifier sensor includes a vehicle registration number reader.

Thanks to each of these provisions, the user having reserved the parking space, or his vehicle, can be recognized to trigger the opening of access to the reserved parking space.

In embodiments, the device which is the subject of the present invention comprises a light source which emits a light signal on reception of a predetermined signal.

Thanks to these provisions, the user of the vehicle having reserved the parking space is visually guided towards this parking space by the light source.

In embodiments, the control means comprises a means for determining the departure of a vehicle, the control means being configured to control the rotation of the support after the detection of the departure of a vehicle.

Thanks to these provisions, there is no risk of a third party taking up a place intended to be reserved, when a vehicle leaves the reserved parking space.

In embodiments, the device which is the subject of the present invention comprises at least two shock absorption bodies.

These embodiments have the advantage of increasing the surface protected by the device which is the subject of the present invention. In particular, these embodiments have the advantage of accommodating the protection provided at various heights of doors of adjacent vehicles.

In embodiments, at least one shock absorbing body has a retro-reflecting device.

A retro-reflecting device is, for example a retro-reflector or a retro-reflecting paint. These embodiments have the advantage of increasing the visibility of the device. of the present invention, in particular for example during a reverse operation of the vehicle.

In embodiments, the device which is the subject of the present invention comprises a means for transmitting a sound signal and a trigger for the means for transmitting the sound signal when the device is touched by a vehicle or crushed between two vehicles.

The advantage of these embodiments is that they allow better identification of a contact between a vehicle and the device which is the subject of the present invention.

In embodiments, the shock absorbing body comprises a sealed wall and containing a compressible material, said sealed wall being closed by a blade vibrated by an air passage or an edge for vibrating air. during the passage.

These embodiments make it possible to produce the emission of a sound signal without any external energy input from the device. In fact, sudden contact with a vehicle causes the compressible material to compress and, by extension, the passage of air around the blade thus creating a sound.

In embodiments, the device which is the subject of the present invention comprises a means for transmitting a light signal and a trigger for the means for transmitting the light signal when the device is touched by a vehicle or crushed between two vehicles.

The advantage of these embodiments is that they allow better identification of a contact between a vehicle and the device which is the subject of the present invention.

In embodiments, at least one suspension means passes through at least one said shock absorption body.

These embodiments make it possible to increase the durability of the device by avoiding a gradual tearing off of the suspension means by contact with vehicles.

In embodiments, at least one suspension means comprises means for adjusting the height of at least one said shock absorption body.

The advantage of these embodiments is that they make it possible to adjust the height position of an impact absorption body as a function of the particular characteristics of the vehicle to be protected.

In embodiments, the device which is the subject of the present invention comprises a net, one side of which touches a protective body and rises towards the support.

This net prevents a mirror from getting caught in the holder while the vehicle is moving.

In embodiments, the motorization comprises a jack.

In embodiments, the motorization includes a belt.

In embodiments, the device object of the present invention comprises a vehicle absence detector, the control means controlling the passage from the second position to the first position when the absence detector detects the absence of 'a vehicle for a predetermined period.

Thanks to these provisions, when the device is placed in such a way that the predetermined area covers an access or a parking space, if a vehicle leaves the parking space, the device automatically prohibits access for another vehicle, up to that a command to move into the first position is received by the device.

In some embodiments, the vehicle absence detector includes a signal transmitter and means for determining the intensity of signals reflected during a device initialization period, a predetermined limit value being automatically determined. as a function of the intensity of the signals reflected during the initialization period, the absence detection during regular operation of the device being a function of said predetermined value.

In embodiments, the vehicle absence detector includes an ultrasonic signal transmitter, a receiver of reflected ultrasonic signals, and a comparator configured to compare the intensity of the reflected ultrasonic signals against a predetermined limit value.

In embodiments, the vehicle absence detector includes a light signal transmitter, a receiver of reflected light signals and a comparator configured to compare the intensity of the reflected signals with a predetermined limit value.

Thanks to each of these provisions, the detection of the absence of a vehicle is reliable.

In embodiments, the vehicle absence detector comprises means for determining the intensity of the signals reflected during a device initialization period, the predetermined limit value being automatically determined as a function of the intensity of the signals reflected during the initialization period.

Thanks to these provisions, the installer of the device does not have to manually adjust the distance for detecting the absence of a vehicle during installation of the vehicle. For example, the predetermined limit value is thus automatically a function of the distance from a fixed obstacle (wall, posts, ...) which permanently reflects the signals emitted by the detector.

In embodiments, the vehicle absence detector is configured to detect the presence of a vehicle only if it receives a predetermined signal for a predetermined duration.

For example, the predetermined signal is a reflected signal and the predetermined duration is several seconds, for example between three and seven seconds.

In embodiments, the vehicle absence detector alternately transmits signals.

In embodiments, the alternation durations of the signals emitted by the absence detector or the frequencies alternately emitted by the absence detector are random or pseudo-random.

Thanks to each of these provisions, if two warning devices are located face to face, it is avoided that one of the absence detectors, by receiving signals from the other, triggers a false detection of vehicle. The alternation of emission can be made according to time intervals or according to frequencies used. Preferably, this alternation is irregular, for example of pseudo-random duration, so that the signals transmitted by two different detectors do not interfere for a whole predetermined duration of absence detection.

According to a second aspect, the present invention relates to a car park comprising at least one parking space for a vehicle and at least one device object of the present invention, positioned above a said parking space, the first position positioning the support. across an access to said place and the second position positioning the support parallel to the parking position of the vehicle inside said parking place.

DESCRIPTION D'EXEMPLES DE REALISATION DE L'INVENTIONDESCRIPTION OF EXAMPLES OF EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

This description is given without limitation.

We note, as of now, that the figures are not to scale.

We observe, on the figure 1 , a first embodiment of the device 10 for reserving space and protecting the bodywork of a land vehicle object of the present invention. This device 10 comprises:
  • at least one support 105, 110, 150, 160 of at least one body 115, 120, this support comprising a means of attachment 150 to a ceiling 165 of a room,
  • a motorization 175 for rotating the body support, around a vertical axis of rotation, between a first position and a second position perpendicular to the first position (see figure 2 ),
  • a control means 170 of the motorization 175 for controlling the movement of the support between the first and the second position and
  • at least one body 115, 120 of shock absorption, supported by each support.

La barre rigide 105 est munie d'un coude renforcé par une nervure 160, ce coude atteignant la motorisation 175.The rotating mobile support comprises, in the embodiment illustrated in figure 1 , a horizontal rigid bar 105 near the ceiling 165, supporting two rods, cables or two vertical straps 110 to which are successively attached, from top to bottom, the shock absorbing bodies 115 and 120. The rigid bar 105 is provided with '' an elbow reinforced by a rib 160, this elbow reaching the motorization 175.

The 175 motorization includes, in figure 1 , an electric motor. In embodiments, the motorization comprises an electric actuator whose elongation or retraction causes the passage of the support from the first to the second position.

The shock absorbing bodies 115 and 120 are configured to absorb and distribute the impacts of mobile elements (essentially the doors) of a vehicle on a vehicle parked nearby. The shock absorbing bodies 115 and 120 are, for example, elongated envelopes filled with compressible foam or slightly compressed air. The lower shock absorption body 120 is preferably provided with retro-reflecting surfaces 130, for example retro-reflectors or retro-reflecting paints. A net 135 connects the shock absorbing bodies 115 and 120 so that a rear view mirror of the vehicle presses on this net 135 and spreads the rods, cables or straps, 110 and thus prevents this mirror from being caught in a rod cable or strap 110 when the vehicle is moving to park or to exit the parking space.

Dans des variantes, chaque corps d'absorption, 115 et 120, comporte un moyen d'émission d'un signal sonore 125.Means for emitting a sound signal 125 is configured to emit a sound when it is touched. This means of emitting a sound signal 125 is, for example, a flow of air expelled when it is compressed, which vibrates a blade as in a whistle or a wind musical instrument. During contact between a vehicle and the absorption body 120 or during the crushing of the absorption body between two vehicles, the compression of the compressible foam causes an air passage and an air vibration, thus creating a audible signal which alerts the driver of the moving vehicle. In variants, the means for transmitting a sound signal 125 is a loudspeaker powered by a battery that comprises the device 10. In variants, each absorption body, 115 and 120, comprises a transmission means an audible signal 125.

In figure 2 are shown two contiguous parking spaces 205 and 210 of a parking lot 20. The parking spaces are delimited by visual separators 220, for example lines painted on the ground. The space 205 is empty while the space 210 is occupied by a vehicle 215. Two devices 11 and 12 for reserving space and protecting the bodywork of a land vehicle object of the present invention are positioned above a space , respectively 205 and 210. The device 11 is in the first position, which positions the support 105, 110 and the bodies 115 and 120 across an access to the place 205. The device 12 is in the second position, which positions the support 105, 110 and the bodies 115 and 120 parallel to the parking position of the vehicle 215, inside the parking space 210, at the separation of the parking spaces 205 and 210.

It is observed that, by turning with the support, the control means 170 is always in the direction of the vehicle, either the vehicle which will enter the parking space in the first position, or the vehicle which is in the parking space in the second position. If it is equipped with a sensor, the control means 170 is thus able to pick up the arrival of the vehicle and its departure.

Many types of control means 170 are envisaged.

In embodiments, the control means 170 of the motorization 175 comprises means for receiving a wireless signal. This function corresponds to that of a remote control. This remote control can operate with radio signals, sound signals or light signals, especially infrared signals. As a variant, the signal is received on carrier current. This remote control can be found at a central station in the car park, at a car park access terminal, in satellite signal repeater boxes connected to such a central station or to such a terminal, or made available to the user. This remote control can consist of a portable terminal communicating, for example a computer (smartphone), which may or may not be paired with the control means 170 and provides a code received when booking or accessing the car park.

In embodiments, the control means 170 is configured to control the motorization after a predetermined duration following the reception of the control signal. Thus, a parking manager or a car park entrance terminal which identifies a vehicle benefiting from a parking space reservation (for example by reading a bar code displayed on a smartphone screen), can order an opening delayed access to the reserved parking space, the delay being approximately equal to the time provided for the vehicle to reach the reserved space.

Preferably, the control means 170 comprises a transmitter of light signals, for example a flashing light-emitting diode, which the control means 170 lights up as soon as it receives the predetermined signal, so that the user can more easily locate the place which is right for him. reserved. The color of the light signal can be variable and indicated to the user to prevent two users who have reserved two nearby parking spaces from mistaking the space reserved for them.

In embodiments, the control means 170 comprises means for receiving a wireless signal and a vehicle approach sensor in a predetermined position facing the support, the control means 170 being configured to control the engine 175 after reception of the signal when the approach sensor determines that a vehicle is in the predetermined position.

In variants:
  • the approach sensor is configured to detect a received light power (the light from the headlights of a vehicle positioned facing the support),
  • the approach sensor is configured to detect a predetermined sound (a vehicle horn signal) or
  • the approach sensor is configured to detect the passage of a bulky object near the shock absorption bodies (metal mass sensor or transmitter or receiver of ultrasonic or infrared signals, for example).

In embodiments, the control means 170 comprises means for receiving wirelessly or on current carrying an identifier and an identifier sensor, the control means being configured to control the motorization 175 when the identifier sensor receives an identifier corresponding to the identifier received by the reception means.

In variants, the sensor includes a printed code reader. This is, for example, a barcode reader.

In variants, the sensor includes a vehicle registration number reader. It is, for example, an image sensor associated with a processing means image performing recognition of license plate and characters carried by the license plate.

Two operating modes can be implemented, possibly combined (the operating mode at opening then being different from the operating mode at closing) and possibly cumulative (two operating modes can then be used either):
  • in a manual operating mode, the opening and / or closing is triggered by manual pressing on a user interface, for example a key, a button, a keyboard or a touch screen and
  • in an automatic operating mode, the opening is controlled by the detection of the approach of a vehicle (for example metal mass detector or of light emitted by the headlights of the vehicle) or detection of an identifier (for example code emitted by a radio or infrared remote control, electronic label, reading of license plate, code reader, for example QR-code (registered trademark) or bar code, possibly on a mobile phone screen, person or vehicle recognition ) and closing is controlled by detecting the absence of a vehicle in the reserved parking space.

In embodiments, the device 10 comprises a means for determining the departure of a vehicle, the control means being configured to control the rotation of the support after the detection of the departure of a vehicle. In the embodiment illustrated in the figures, this means for determining the departure of the vehicle merges with the approach sensor of a vehicle. For example, it is a metal mass detector or a transmitter or receiver of sound or light rays.

In embodiments, the device which is the subject of the present invention comprises means 180 for transmitting a light (for example rotating beacon) or sound signal (for example intermittent loudspeaker) triggered when the motorization 175 is activated during opening and / or closing.

In the embodiments comprising an emitter of sound signals, the sound intensity emitted, or the sound frequency emitted, may depend on the period of the day. This period is given either by a clock (not shown) or by an ambient light detector (when sunlight can reach this detector). The ambient light detector consists, for example, of a photoresistor or a phototransistor. Preferably, at night, the sound intensity emitted is lower than during the day and / or the sound frequency used is lower than during the day. The neighborhood is thus less disturbed.

In embodiments, the device which is the subject of the present invention comprises means for emitting a light indicating the state of the device, for example green to indicate an available space (the device being in the first position), orange during the operation of the motorization and red in the second position.

In embodiments, the device which is the subject of the present invention comprises a means for emitting a light indicating the reception of an opening or closing command (for example green without command reception, orange on reception of an order and red to confirm the successful receipt of an order and / or the completion of the movement ordered).

In embodiments, the device which is the subject of the present invention comprises a display of a message identifying the vehicle or the person expected at the parking space provided with the device. Third parties and the person concerned can thus identify to whom the parking space is reserved.

In embodiments, a safety line is connected to the ceiling and to the foot of the device connected to the ceiling. This rope retains the device if its attachment to the ceiling fails, for example under the force exerted by vandalism or by an involuntary attachment of a rod, cable or strap by a vehicle.

In embodiments, the support 105 has, outside the grip of the rib 160, a zone of weakness and folding. This weak zone protects the motorization and the foot of the device in the event of vandalism or involuntary attachment of a rod, cable or strap by a vehicle.

In embodiments, the device which is the subject of the present invention comprises a means for transmitting a light signal and a trigger for the means for transmitting the light signal when the device is touched by a vehicle or crushed between two vehicles. These embodiments allow better identification of a contact between a vehicle and the device which is the subject of the present invention.

These embodiments make it possible to adjust the height position of an impact absorption body as a function of the particular characteristics of the vehicle to be protected. Each height adjustment means is, for example, a clip attached to the absorption body and configured to pinch the strap when the clip is closed. A user wishing to adjust the height of the body opens the clamp, adjusts the height of the body and closes the clamp to fix the body at the desired height. In variants, the height adjustment means is a coil contained in the support which makes it possible to raise or lower each absorption body.

In the case of an outdoor installation, the ceiling is replaced by a post, a bracket or a frame. Preferably, this post, this gallows or this frame does not have any part on the half of the parking space which is located along the access road to this place to avoid accidents. To this end, a compass or an articulated arm can support the support 105. Preferably, this compass or this articulated arm is driven by the same motorization as the device.

In the case where the wind can exert a force on each body 115 and 120, preferably:
  • the rods, cables or straps 110 are rigid rods held perpendicular to the rigid support 105 and / or
  • a retaining post is provided for each body 115 and 120.

La détection d'absence d'un véhicule est représentée en figures 3 à 5.The absence of a vehicle is represented in figures 3 to 5 .

The vehicle absence detector 305 is preferably positioned at the bottom of the monitored parking space, that is to say relative to the support 105 at the other longitudinal end of the parking space. Thus, it is the absence of a vehicle on the parking space that is detected.

The vehicle absence detector 305 can include:
  • an active sensor, that is to say which emits a signal, generally ultrasonic or infrared, which is modulated by a possible vehicle and whose modulation is detected by the detector, or
  • a passive sensor, that is to say which emits no signal that a vehicle modulates. A passive sensor is, for example, a microphone, a coil detecting a change in magnetic field by electrically conductive masses, such as metal or a camera.

In the embodiment shown in figure 3 , the detector 305 includes an active sensor. More specifically, the detector 305 comprises an ultrasonic signal transmitter 335 and a receiver of the ultrasonic signals reflected by a vehicle 340. By comparing the intensity of the reflected signals with a predetermined limit value, the detector determines whether a vehicle is present in front of the detector , in the monitored area.

To avoid false detections due to the passage of a vehicle outside the monitored parking space, the detector 305 measures the continuous detection time and transmits a vehicle absence signal only if this time is greater than a time predetermined, for example between three and seven seconds, for example five seconds.

To avoid false detections due to wave reflections on fixed objects outside the monitored area, for example a wall or a post (not shown), preferably, the detector 305 automatically determines the predetermined limit value of signal strength reflected above which a vehicle is detected.

For this purpose, the detector 305 comprises an initialization button 345 actuated by the installer during the installation. When the initialization is triggered, the detector 305 stores, for a predetermined duration, for example five seconds, the intensity of the reflected signals. The figure 4 illustrates this intensity of reflected signal 315. The abscissa axis 325 represents time and the ordinate axis 310 represents the measured intensity of the reflected signals. The predetermined duration is between the initial instant and the vertical broken line.

As a function of the intensity measured during the predetermined duration, the detector 305 determines the predetermined limit value 320, which is implemented after the initialization duration.

Thus, the vehicle absence detector 305 comprises means for determining the intensity of the signals reflected during an initialization period of the device, the predetermined value being automatically determined as a function of the intensity of the signals. reflected during the initialization time.

For example, this predetermined limit value is the sum of the average value measured during the storage period of the reflected intensity to which two to four times the noise level measured during this storage period is added. The noise level is for example determined as being equal to the mean square deviation or to the mean deviation between the measured intensity and the mean intensity.

The installer of the device therefore does not have to manually adjust the distance for detecting the absence of a vehicle during installation of the vehicle. For example, the predetermined limit value is thus automatically a function of the distance from a fixed obstacle (wall, posts, ...) which permanently reflects the signals emitted by the detector.

Preferably, the vehicle absence detector 305 transmits signals alternately, for example according to a cycle of half a second every second. The alternation of emission can be made according to time intervals or according to frequencies used. For example, the detector uses three ultrasonic frequencies and switches from one to the other after each time interval, so that the emission continues continuously.

Preferably, the alternation durations of the signals emitted by the absence detector or the frequencies alternately emitted by the absence detector are random or pseudo-random.

Thus, if two detectors 305 of two devices are facing each other, for example opposite two parking spaces on either side of a path to these spaces, it is avoided that one of the detectors 305 absence, receiving signals from the other, triggers a false vehicle detection. Preferably, this alternation is irregular, for example of pseudo-random duration, so that the signals transmitted by two different detectors do not interfere for a whole predetermined duration of absence detection.

We observe, in figure 5 , a particular embodiment of certain steps of the method which is the subject of the present invention. During a step 405, an installer causes a button to be pressed to initialize the absence detector, no vehicle having to be present in the monitored area. During a step 410, the absence detector transmits and receives signals, for example ultrasonic signals. During a step 415, the absence detector determines the average intensity of the reflected ultrasonic signals and the average noise in the reflected signals. During a step 420, the detector determines a limit value which will be used to compare the instantaneous intensity of the reflected signals with this limit value.

Sinon, on retourne à l'étape 425.During the operation of the device, and in the embodiments with automatic passage from the second position to the first position, when the device is in the second position, step 425, it is determined whether an absence of vehicle is detected, step 430. If so, during a step 435, the passage of the device from the second position to the first position is controlled. Otherwise, we return to step 425.
