Definitions
- a hydraulic tank 16 and a hydraulic pump 28 together form a hydraulic unit.
- the hydraulic tank 16 provides hydraulic fluid for the supply of the free lift cylinder 13 and the mast lift cylinder 15 through the hydraulic pump 28 .
- a feed valve 20 connects the hydraulic tank 16 to the free lift cylinder 13 and to the mast lift cylinder 15.
- the feed valve is a 3/2-way proportional valve with 3 line connections and two valve positions.
- the hydraulic tank 16 is connected to a connection of the supply valve 20 via a feed line 24 , while the free lift cylinder 13 is connected to the remaining connections of the supply valve 20 via a first connection line 25 and the mast lift cylinder 15 is connected to the remaining connections of the supply valve 20 via a second connection line 26 .
- FIG 6 illustrated embodiment of the lifting device differs from the lifting device figure 1 in that instead of the 3/2-way proportional valve, a 2/2-way proportional valve 100 arranged in the connecting line 25 leading to the free lift cylinder 13 is provided as a supply valve.
- the supply valve 100 has a blocking position 100a and a flow position 100b, with the supply valve 100 also being able to assume any intermediate positions.
- the feed line 24 is divided into the connecting lines 25 and 26 upstream of the hydraulic pump, the connecting line 26 having no feed valve.
- hydraulic fluid is fed from the hydraulic tank 16 via the hydraulic pump 28 through the feed line 24 and the feed valve 100 located in the flow position 100b to the first connecting line 25 and thus into the free lift cylinder 13. Furthermore, hydraulic fluid is also fed through the connecting line 26 to the mast lifting cylinder 15 . As long as the existing system pressure p is lower than the pressure p 2 required to actuate the mast lifting cylinder 15, ie as long as p ⁇ p 2 applies, initially only the free lifting cylinder 13 is moved and the free lifting is thus carried out.
- the stroke sequence and the stroke speeds can be controlled in accordance with the regulation explained above.
- a setpoint speed specified by the control unit 70 for the movement of the load part 12 can be translated into a volume flow of the hydraulic fluid to the free lift cylinder or the mast lift cylinder.
- an operator of the control unit 70 can make a speed specification v.
- the control unit 70 regulates the speed via a control current i 1 in accordance with this specified setpoint speed v Valve position of the supply valve 100.
- the supply valve 100 divides the volume flow of hydraulic fluid coming from the hydraulic pump 28 into the two volume flows q m and q f .
- a volume flow q m does flow constantly to the mast lifting cylinder 15.
- a proportional preload valve 120 with a throttle position 120a and a flow position 120b is provided as a supply valve.
- the lifting is basically the same as before figure 6 explained.
- the valve 120 cannot be completely closed, but allows a flow to the free lift cylinder 13 even in the throttle position 120a. This therefore moves slowly in its stop without further additional measures - such as the above-mentioned position sensor for measuring the piston position - being necessary . This also allows switching from free lift to mast lift in a controlled manner.
- the lifting device figure 9 differs from the in figure 6 shown in that a 2/2-way proportional valve 130 is provided in the connecting line 26 leading to the mast lifting cylinder 15 instead of in the connecting line 25 .
- the 2/2-way proportional valve 130 has a blocking position 130a acting in the direction of the connecting line 26, realized by a check valve, and a flow position 130b.
- this lifting device requires that the pressure p 1 required to actuate the free lift cylinder 13 is always higher than the pressure p 2 required to actuate the mast lift cylinder 15 . So it must be p 1 > p 2 . This can be achieved in particular by the fact that the effective piston area of the free lift cylinder 13 is smaller than the effective piston area of the mast lift cylinder 15.

Description
The invention relates to a lifting device for an industrial truck and an industrial truck with a lifting device according to the invention.
Industrial trucks for loading and unloading loads usually have a mast with a mast and a load part. The mast can consist of several mast stages, which move apart like a telescope when the mast is extended. In this case, each mast stage is usually moved by a hydraulic cylinder. Extending the mast is also called mast lift. The load part is usually connected to the top mast step and is used to accommodate and carry loads. The load part is also moved by a hydraulic cylinder along the so-called free lift. When initiating a lifting process, the free lift usually extends first. Only the load part is raised without extending the mast. In this way, the load part and thus the load can be raised without increasing the overall height of the mast and thus the clearance height of the industrial truck. If the load part is fully extended and the free lift has thus reached its end position, the mast lift begins and the individual mast stages of the mast are extended.
The lifting sequence of free lift and mast lift is usually controlled via the area ratios of the hydraulic cylinders driving the load part or the mast stages. The area ratios of the hydraulic cylinders are designed in such a way that the hydraulic pressure required to raise the free lift cylinder is lower than the hydraulic pressure required to raise the mast lift cylinder. Consequently, during a lifting process, the load part always moves out first according to the free lift. Only when the free lift is complete, i.e. the free lift cylinder has reached its end position, does the mast lift begin. During the lowering process, this results in the disadvantage that the hydraulic pressure in the free lift with a low load or without a load is so low is that the load part can only be lowered at low speed. The lowering speed of the load part is significantly lower than the lowering speed of the mast steps of the lifting mast. In addition, if the hydraulic pressure is too low, increased flow resistance can occur in the hydraulic lines and mechanical friction losses in the cylinders. This leads to a further reduction in the lowering speed and thus to a reduced handling capacity of the industrial truck.
To increase the lowering speed in the free lift with little or no load, the effective piston area of the free lift cylinder can be reduced, for example. This increases the hydraulic pressure and increases the lowering speed of the load section. The disadvantage of this solution is that the control of the lifting sequence and lowering sequence via the area ratios can no longer be used since the pressure difference between the individual lifting stages becomes too small or even reverses.
The object of the invention is therefore to provide a lifting device for an industrial truck that is simpler and more efficient.
The object is achieved by a lifting device according to the invention with the features of
The lifting device according to the invention for an industrial truck comprises a mast with a movably guided load part and at least one movably guided mast stage, a free lifting cylinder acting on the load part and at least one mast lifting cylinder acting on the at least one mast stage. Furthermore, the lifting device according to the invention comprises a hydraulic unit for supplying the free lift cylinder and the at least one mast lift cylinder with hydraulic fluid. According to the invention, the lifting device also comprises at least one feed valve, which is connected to the hydraulic unit and to the free lift cylinder and/or the at least one mast lift cylinder and which is only provided for feeding hydraulic fluid from the hydraulic unit to the free lift cylinder and/or the mast lift cylinder. Furthermore, according to the invention, the lifting device comprises a return valve which is connected to the hydraulic unit and to the free lift cylinder and/or the at least one mast lift cylinder and which is only provided for returning hydraulic fluid from the free lift cylinder and/or the mast lift cylinder to the hydraulic unit.
The lifting device according to the invention therefore has at least two separate valves, namely a supply valve and a return valve. The supply valve and the return valve are not the same valve. The supply valve is used to regulate the supply of hydraulic fluid from the hydraulic unit to the free lift cylinder or to the mast lift cylinder. By supplying hydraulic fluid from the hydraulic unit to the free lift cylinder, the load part and thus a load located on the load part are lifted. The free lift is thus run through. By supplying hydraulic fluid to the mast lifting cylinder, the at least one mast stage is extended and the mast lift is thus completed. By extending the at least one mast step, the load part is also lifted with the load. To lower the load part and thus the load located on the load part, the at least one mast lifting cylinder or the free lifting cylinder is retracted. To do this, hydraulic fluid is fed back into the hydraulic unit from the corresponding cylinder. This return of hydraulic fluid does not take place via the supply valve. Instead, the hydraulic fluid to be returned flows into the hydraulic unit via the at least one return valve. The hydraulic unit has at least one hydraulic tank and a hydraulic pump connected to it. The separation of the supply and the return of hydraulic fluid into the cylinders according to the invention enables a simpler construction of the hydraulic system and a more flexible choice of the valves used, which also leads to cost savings.
According to the invention, the at least one supply valve comprises a proportional valve. This enables not only the selective supply of hydraulic fluid to the free lift cylinder or the mast lift cylinder, but also the supply of hydraulic fluid to both cylinders at the same time. The volume flow of the hydraulic fluid can be flexibly adjusted using proportional valves and distributed to the free lift cylinder and mast lift cylinder. Thus, when lifting the load, the free lift and the mast lift can be run through independently of one another or together, depending on the valve position. In an embodiment not forming part of the invention, the supply valve may comprise a 3/2-way proportional valve. This valve allows flexible supply of hydraulic fluid to the free lift cylinder or to the mast lift cylinder or simultaneously to both valves at the same time simple construction. According to a preferred embodiment, the at least one recirculation valve can also include a proportional valve. The volume flow of the hydraulic fluid returned from the cylinders to the hydraulic unit can thus be set flexibly via the at least one return valve. Accordingly, the free lift or mast lift can be flexibly controlled during the lowering process. When lowering the load, the free lift and the mast lift can also be run through independently of one another or together, depending on the valve position. This can be implemented in a particularly simple manner using a 2/2-way proportional valve.
According to the invention, the supply valve connects a supply line to the free lift cylinder via a first connecting line and/or to the at least one mast lifting cylinder via a second connecting line. The supply line is connected to the hydraulic unit. In one embodiment, which is not part of the invention, the supply valve can divide the hydraulic fluid routed from the hydraulic unit via the common supply line to the first connecting line and the second connecting line and thus supply the free lift cylinder and the mast lift cylinder with hydraulic fluid. Depending on the valve position, however, only the free lift cylinder or only the mast lift cylinder can be supplied with hydraulic fluid. This simplifies the structure of the device. In this case, the supply valve can in particular be a 3/2-way proportional valve. This enables a particularly simple and efficient control of the free lift cylinder and the mast lift cylinder. Such a valve is also inexpensive.
According to a further preferred embodiment, the at least one return valve connects a first return line, which branches off from the first connecting line, and/or a second return line, which branches off from the second connecting line, to the hydraulic unit independently of the supply valve. According to this configuration, in particular two return lines can be provided, which serve to return hydraulic fluid from the cylinders. The first return line branches off from the first connecting line and is thus connected to the free lift cylinder via the first connecting line. The second return line branches off from the second connecting line and is thus connected to the at least one mast lifting cylinder via the second connecting line. The free lift cylinder and mast lift cylinder can be retracted separately from each other via the separate return lines, so that the free lift and mast lift can be run through separately from each other. In this case, at least two recirculation valves can be provided, with the first return line being able to have a first recirculation valve and the second return line being able to have a second recirculation valve. This enables a particularly simple and cost-effective use of 2/2-way proportional valves as the first and second return valve for returning the hydraulic fluid from the cylinders to the hydraulic unit.
According to a further embodiment, the first return line and the second return line are combined to form a common third return line. In particular, the first return line and the second return line can be combined via the at least one return valve to form a common third return line. This further simplifies the construction. According to a further embodiment, the at least one recirculation valve can be a recirculating 3/2-way proportional valve, via which the first return line and the second return line are combined to form a common third return line. The hydraulic fluid can be fed back into the hydraulic unit either from the free lift cylinder or from the at least one mast lift cylinder or from both cylinders at the same time via the 3/2-way proportional valve. A 4/2-way proportional valve can then also be provided, which selectively separates the first return line and the second return line from the returning 3/2-way proportional valve or connects them to the returning 3/2-way proportional valve. The 4/2-way proportional valve can thus prevent hydraulic fluid from flowing back into the hydraulic unit if you do not want the hydraulic cylinders to be lowered. If the cylinders are to be lowered, the 4/2-way proportional valve is first switched to its flow position so that the hydraulic fluid can reach the 3/2-way proportional valve. This configuration can be provided as an alternative to the use of two 2/2-way proportional valves as recirculation valves.
According to a further embodiment, the first connecting line between the supply valve and the branch of the first return line from the first connecting line has a non-return valve. The second connecting line can also have a check valve between the supply valve and the branching off of the second return line from the second connecting line. In particular, both the first and the second connecting line can have such a check valve. The check valves ensure that no hydraulic fluid can flow back from the cylinders via the supply valve. Instead, the hydraulic fluid flowing back only has to travel via the first or second return line and thus via the at least one return valve.
According to a further preferred embodiment, the hydraulic unit includes a hydraulic pump and a hydraulic tank, the hydraulic pump delivering hydraulic fluid from the hydraulic tank through the supply line and via the supply valve to the free lift cylinder and/or the mast lift cylinder. A desired lifting speed of the load can be achieved via the hydraulic pump by running through the free lift and/or the mast lift at the appropriate speed. For this purpose, in particular the pump speed of the hydraulic pump can be regulated. The lifting speed can also be adjusted by a corresponding valve position of the supply valve, which controls the hydraulic fluid supplied by the hydraulic pump Distributed free lift cylinder and at least one mast lift cylinder, are regulated.
According to a further embodiment, the supply line has an isolating valve in order to isolate the hydraulic flow from the hydraulic unit to the supply valve. The hydraulic flow through the isolating valve can also be at least throttled. Furthermore, a functional line can be provided that leads from the supply line, for supplying further hydraulic elements with hydraulic fluid. The hydraulic flow to the lifting cylinders can thus be interrupted or throttled via the isolating valve in order to be able to make sufficient hydraulic fluid available to other hydraulic elements. The isolating valve can be designed, for example, as a proportional valve or as a switching valve.
According to a preferred embodiment, a control unit is provided which is designed to actuate the at least one supply valve and/or the at least one recirculation valve. In particular, the control unit can actuate the supply valve and/or the at least one recirculation valve electrically. The supply valve and the at least one recirculation valve can then be electrically actuated valves.
Furthermore, the free lifting cylinder or the at least one mast lifting cylinder can preferably have a sensor communicating with the control unit for determining the lifting height of the load part. In particular, both the free lift cylinder and the at least one mast lift cylinder can each have a lift height sensor. The lifting height sensor can in particular be a position sensor which, for example, measures the position of a piston rod of the free lift cylinder or of the mast lift cylinder. The further the piston rod is extended from the respective cylinder, the further the free lift or mast lift has been traversed and the higher the lifting height of the load part. The lifting height of a load transported on the load part can be derived from the lifting height of the load part to be determined. According to a further embodiment, the free lift cylinder and/or the mast lift cylinder has a sensor communicating with the control unit for determining the lifting speed and/or the lowering speed of the load part. This can be the same sensor that determines the lift height. In particular, both the free lift cylinder and the at least one mast lift cylinder can each have a speed sensor. The speed sensor can, for example, measure the speed of movement of a piston rod of the free lift cylinder or of the mast lift cylinder relative to the cylinder housing. From the movement speed of the piston rods, conclusions can be drawn about the lifting speed of the load part moved by the piston rods of the two cylinders.
The control unit is then preferably designed to control the feed valve and/or the return valve depending on the lifting height of the load part determined by the sensor, in order to control the lifting speed and/or the lowering speed of the load part. The lift height sensor of the free lift cylinder or the mast lift cylinder measures, for example, a current position of the piston rod of the respective cylinder. The measured values determined are transmitted to the control unit, which then controls the lifting or lowering speed of the respective valve. Depending on the lifting height of the load part, the lifting and lowering speed of the load part is thus controlled. In this way, certain areas of the lifting height can be defined within which different lifting or lowering speeds should be used. For example, the lifting speed or the lowering speed of the load part can be reduced in the vicinity of the end areas of the free lift cylinder or the mast lift cylinder, ie just before the respective piston rod of the respective cylinder is fully extended or retracted. This ensures that the piston rods hit the cylinder housing gently and, among other things, that there is a softer transition between free lift and mast lift.
More preferably, the control unit is then designed to control the feed valve to set a target lifting speed and/or the return valve to set a target lowering speed of the load part, to detect a control deviation between the target lifting speed and the actual lifting speed determined by the sensor and/or or to determine the target lowering speed and the actual lowering speed determined by the sensor, and to control the feed valve and/or the return valve for controlling the supply of the free lift cylinder and/or the mast lift cylinder with hydraulic fluid on the basis of the control deviation. According to this embodiment, a target lifting speed for the load part and thus the load is specified via the control unit through a specific setting of the supply valve. Accordingly, the recirculation valve can be controlled via the control unit in such a way that a defined desired lowering speed of the load part and thus of the load is set. However, these target speeds are subject to a large number of external interferences, such as different loads, fluctuating oil viscosity, pump efficiency or mechanical losses in the system. The target speed can therefore deviate from the actually realized speed. In order to compensate for such a deviation, the actual lifting speed and/or the actual lowering speed of the load part is first determined by the aforementioned sensors on the free lift cylinder or on the at least one mast lift cylinder. This can be done, for example, by measuring the speed of movement of the piston rods of the respective hydraulic cylinders relative to the respective cylinder housing. The deviation between the actual speeds and the target speeds of the piston rods of the respective cylinders is then determined via the control unit and the position of the supply valve or the at least one recirculation valve is readjusted accordingly. This feedback allows a specified lifting or lowering speed of the load part and thus of the load to be maintained much more precisely and reliably.

The lifting device has a schematically illustrated lifting

To lift the
When the
In accordance with the control explained above, the lifting sequence and the lifting speed of the mast stage and load part can also be controlled in this exemplary embodiment. The position of the piston rod of the
As described above, the actual stroke speeds of the

At the beginning of the lifting process, hydraulic fluid is fed from the

During the lowering process, however, in the present exemplary embodiment there is the possibility of driving the
