Claims (12)

  1. Dustpan and broom assembly comprising a dustpan, and a broom comprising a broom handle and a brush having a brush back carrying bristles, the assembly having a broom element (A2, 1) wherein the brush is secured with the bristles of the broom extending beyond an edge of the broom element, and a dustpan element designed to scoop up waste, the dustpan element and the broom element comprising complementary assembly means (A2, D5; 12, 27; 13, 29) which are complementary to one another and designed such that, in an assembled position, the dustpan element and the broom element form a box containing the brush, characterized in that said broom handle comprises a plurality of separable pieces, the dustpan and broom assembly having a handle compartment (F2; 7) integrated in the box and designed to receive the pieces of the broom handle.
  2. Assembly according to claim 1, characterized in that the handle compartment (F2; 7) has a side delimited by the back (4) of the brush of the broom.
  3. Assembly according to claim 1, characterized in that the handle compartment is integrated to the broom element, and comprises a lateral opening (34) which is covered by a flank (17) of the dustpan element for an assembled position of the box.
  4. Assembly according to claim 3, characterized in that the dustpan element and the broom element are designed to slide relative to one another, in a direction perpendicular to the flank of the dustpan element, and in that the dustpan element comprises a handgrip (30) on a side opposite the flank (17).
  5. Assembly according to claim 1, characterized in that the dustpan element comprises a waste-receiving plate (16) and a wall portion (19) which overhangs the waste-receiving plate, an edge protruding from a surface of the overhanging wall portion that is opposite the waste-receiving plate, and in that the broom element has a longitudinal wall comprising a hook-shaped ready-for-use rib (14) at a distance from the end of the bristles of the brush that is less than or equal to the distance from the edge of the wall portion which overhangs the waste-receiving plate.
  6. Assembly according to claim 1, characterized in that the dustpan element comprises a lateral opening and hooking means (31) which are intended for a garbage bag and are adjacent to the lateral opening.
  7. Assembly according to claim 1, characterized in that the dustpan element comprises a waste-receiving plate (16), and a central wall (18) comprises an upright-positioning portion (32) that has a hollow profile.
  8. Assembly according to claim 7, characterized in that, vertically in line with the upright-positioning portion (32), the dustpan element comprises a convex rounded wall portion (33).
  9. Assembly according to claim 7, characterized in that the broom element comprises a transport rib (15) designed to removably and stably engage under an edge of the overhanging wall portion of the dustpan element.
  10. Assembly according to claim 9, characterized in that the transport rib (15) has a half-dovetail profile.
  11. Assembly according to claim 5 and claim 10 in combination, characterized in that the transport rib (15) is formed by the back of the ready-for-use rib (14).
  12. Assembly according to claim 1, characterized in that the dustpan element comprises a compartment (22) adjacent to a waste collection region.
