Definitions
- the invention relates to a pressure sleeve according to the preamble of claim 1 and two methods for producing such a pressure sleeve according to claims 3 and 5.
- flexographic printing, (printing) sleeves so-called sleeves, with a dimensionally stable reinforcement, the so-called base sleeve, are used as printing forms whose outwardly directed pressure surface consists of or comprises an elastomeric material, ie. is rubber coated.
- These printing plates are used on printing cylinders to which they are pushed with radial expansion.
- the dimensionally stable and radially difficult to expand pressure sleeves are widened from the inside by compressed air; For this they must be airtight. This radial expansion or widening allows pushing on the impression cylinder. After switching off the compressed air pulls the
- a printing sleeve is constructed in three layers, namely from the inside to the outside with a base sleeve as a strength carrier, a compressible layer and a cover layer, which can act as a pressure layer; In this case, any adhesion promoters present between these layers are not considered as layers.
- a base sleeve As a base sleeve, currently, e.g. GRP materials (glass fiber reinforced plastic) used.
- the base sleeve serves to absorb torsional forces. Due to their design, in particular the inside of the base sleeve, the Gleitreibwert acting on the impression cylinder when pushed, can be adjusted or influenced.
- a base sleeve elastomeric plates or mixtures are then applied, which may be either compressible or incompressible.
- This compressible layer absorbs compressive forces, reduces vibrations and improves the area expression.
- the compressible layer establishes the connection between the base sleeve and the cover layer.
- the cover layer is engravable, e.g. Laserbar to map the object to be printed on this print layer can. It should ensure good color transfer and have the lowest possible swelling. All of these layers are seamlessly crafted to avoid imaging such a seam in the print image.
- the US 6,703,095 B2 relates to a printing sleeve for a printing cylinder with a three-layer structure and a manufacturing method for producing such a sleeve.
- the DE 10 2011 053 747 A1 describes a printing for use for high pressure, especially for flexographic printing.
- the printing form can be formed in one layer by an extruded elastomeric printing layer.
- the printing form can also be formed in a multi-layered manner by an outer extruded elastomeric printing layer, which on the inside has a reinforcement layer.
- the printing plate may additionally have a compressible layer between the printing layer and the reinforcement layer in order to additionally achieve a compressible effect, ie to be able to additionally absorb pressures in the radial direction.
- the DE 295 18 150 U1 describes a printing sleeve, in particular for a flexographic printing cylinder.
- this pressure sleeve has a radially inner layer of fiber-reinforced plastic and a radially outer layer as a rubber layer.
- the radially inner layer has due to the fiber-reinforced plastic as a material correspondingly high strength and rigidity.
- An object of the present invention is therefore to provide a pressure sleeve of the type described above, which is simpler and / or more cost-effective with the same or better functionality and / or easier, cheaper and / or can be made faster.
- the number of steps for producing such a pressure sleeve and the resulting costs should be reduced.
- the invention relates to a pressure sleeve according to the preamble of claim 1 or claim 2.
- This pressure sleeve is characterized by the features of the characterizing part of claim 1 or 2.
- the first, radially inner layer comprises a (glass) fiber-reinforced compressible mixture, such that the (glass) fibers in the circumferential direction and / or longitudinal forces and the compressible mixing elements in the radial direction can absorb occurring pressures.
- the materials that previously act separately in the base sleeve and compressible layer are combined together in a layer in which they can each perform their function. They thus compensate for the disadvantages or weaknesses of the other material, so that according to the invention, the functions of the base sleeve and the compressible layer can be used in a common layer.
- the first, radially inner layer comprises a fleece and / or an open-pored fabric and / or a lattice structure which comprises a compressible rubber compound, so that the fleece and / or the open-pore Tissue and / or the lattice structure, the forces occurring in the circumferential direction and or or in the longitudinal direction and the compressible rubber compound can absorb the pressures occurring in the radial direction.
- previously separate materials or layers are combined in a common layer.
- the first, inner layer may be an incompressible layer made in the basically same manner as described above, but provided with an incompressible rubber compound instead of a compressible rubber compound. In this way, an incompressible compression sleeve with two layers can be produced.
- the rubber compound of the compressible or incompressible first inner layer can make a better connection with the printing layer than conventional base sleeves or compressible layers, because the pressure layer has an elastomeric material and two rubber compounds in direct contact come together.
- Both the first and second mixtures are preferably an elastomeric mixture, i. a rubber compound.
- the application of the first (glass) fiber-reinforced compressible mixture to the cylinder takes place by means of a calendering process so that the fibers are aligned by the calendering process.
- the implementation of this manufacturing step by means of a calender is advantageous because in a simple manner a corresponding orientation of the fibers in the material can be achieved so that they can absorb forces occurring in the finished printing sleeve in the circumferential direction and or or in the longitudinal direction.
- Both the first and second mixtures are preferably an elastomeric mixture, i. a rubber compound.
- Fig. 1 a schematic sectional view of a printing sleeve according to the invention.
- Fig. 1 shows a schematic sectional view of a pressure sleeve according to the invention 1.
- This illustration shows a cross section through a pressure sleeve 1, which extends cylindrically in the direction of its longitudinal axis L.
- the pressure sleeve 1 has a first, radially inner layer 11, which is designed to be seamless in the circumferential direction U.
- the pressure sleeve 1 is mounted with its first, radially inner layer 11 on a printing cylinder 10. For this purpose, it was radially expanded with compressed air from inside. In this case, the pressure sleeve 1 is frictionally engaged with the inner surface 11a of the first, radially inner layer 11 on the outer surface of the printing cylinder 10.
- the pressure sleeve 1 also has a second, radially outer layer 12, which abuts with its inner surface 12a directly on the outer surface 11b of the first, radially inner layer 11.
- the outer surface 12b of the second, radially outer layer 12 is formed as a pressure surface.
- the first radially inner layer 11 is designed, for example, as a fiber-reinforced compressible mixture or as a nonwoven-reinforced compressible mixture such that it can perform both the function of a conventional base sleeve and simultaneously that of a compressible layer. In this way, the functions and modes of action of these two layers are united in a common layer according to the invention, which simplifies and reduces the construction of the pressure sleeve according to the invention compared to known pressure sleeves.

Description
Darin zeigt:
Fig. 1 eine schematische Schnittdarstellung einer erfindungsgemäßen Druckhülse. -
