Definitions
- the invention relates to a lighting module system and constructed from individual modules of this lighting module system lamp.
- Luminaires equipped with energy-saving lamps require an operating module for operating the lamp, which can also be addressed as a ballast.
- the operating module is mains-voltage-fed and supplies the light source with the energy required for operation.
- the control of the light source via the operating module such as a dimming.
- such an operating module also has a bus interface so that it can be connected to an installation bus. If an operating module is operated via an installation bus, it can be controlled with the respective protocol used, for example in accordance with the DALI standard.
- LEDs are used as energy-saving lamps.
- the operating module supplies them with direct current. Since typically several LEDs are used in such a light source as light sources, the light source is addressed as a light source module in the context of this embodiment.
- the operating module has a module connector and the lamp module via a complementary mating connector.
- Such a lighting module can be designed as a so-called Tunable White module.
- the illuminant module is then designed with two channels and has LEDs of different color temperatures in its two channels. By appropriate activation of the LEDs of one channel and that of the other channel, the desired color temperature with which the illuminant module is to illuminate can be adjusted by mixing a color component of one channel with that of the second channel.
- an operating module may be provided, which has in each case a driver for each channel. These drivers can be controlled independently of each other.
- two-channel lamp modules are driven by a common operating module operating according to a standard. This can be done, for example, with the DALI standard IEC 62386-209: 2011-06 (Part 209: Color / Color Temperature Control (Device Type 8)).
- the two channels can be controlled independently of each other and the light at maximum power in each channel with 100%, a control of the individual channels takes place in an operating module, which operates according to the aforementioned specification, depending on the control of the other channel, whereby the maximum luminous flux, which is delivered by the sum of the two channels is limited.
- the collapsing of the electrical contacts in an output-side connector of the operating module and the correspondingly complementary structure of the connector of a lamp module to be connected thereto ensures that the first channel of the lamp module is connected to the first channel of the operating module. In this way, an unwanted channel exchange can be avoided, so that the light modules involved in the construction of a luminaire section are operated uniformly channel.
- an aforementioned, generic lighting module system with at least one multi-channel designed operating module with an output side connector, in which the electrical contacts of the channels to be controlled are summarized with such Operating module controllable lamp modules, which lamp modules an input side connector for connecting the lamp module to the output side connector of such an operating module and an output side connector designed as the output side connector of the operating module to connect another module, and with a channel turner, equipped with an input side connector and an output-side connector, which connectors correspond to those of a lamp module, and which channel turner is thus connected to the output side connector of a lamp module through which channel turner an input side first channel output side to a second channel and an input side second channel is placed on an output side first channel.
- This lighting module system comprises, in addition to a multi-channel designed operating module and controllable by this lighting modules, also a channel turner.
- a channel turner With such a channel turner an input side first channel can be placed on an output side second channel and an input side second channel on an output side first channel.
- an input side first channel can be placed on an output side second channel and an input side second channel on an output side first channel.
- the channels can be controlled differently in successive light sources according to the exchanged channel assignment.
- the first channel is controlled when such a channel turner is used in the first light-emitting module, as predetermined by the first channel of the operating module.
- its second channel is driven in accordance with the first channel of the operating module. With respect to the second channel of the first lamp module and that of the subsequent lamp module, it behaves exactly the opposite.
- monochrome light source modules can be used, wherein two separate by a channel turner lamp modules are controlled by different channels of the operating module.
- individual light-emitting module of this type can be controlled by interposing a channel turner or by omitting such a module with respect to their control in the manner of a Wired Addressing .
- Monochrome illuminant modules have light sources in their one channel, while the other channel is only plated through from the input-side connector to the output-side connector.
- the light sources of one channel of such a light-emitting module typically have the same color temperature. However, this is not a mandatory requirement.
- such a lighting module emits monochromatic light.
- the individual shares are not taxable.
- such a luminous means module differs from those which have light sources of different color temperature in each channel and wherein the color temperature of the illuminant module can be set by the corresponding control of the different channels, as is the case, for example, with tunable white illuminant modules .
- the invention can be realized in a two-channel lighting path. Nevertheless, the claimed concept is also suitable for use in illuminant sections which have more than two channels, for example three channels.
- the input side and the output side connector of such a channel turner correspond to those of a lamp module.
- an energy distribution can be achieved by using at least one channel turner on both channels, which in turn permits operation under SELV. Conditions is possible.
- a lighting module system comprises monochromatic light-emitting module
- an operating module which can otherwise be used with only two channels can thus be used under SELV for driving the same light-emitting module.
- monochrome light modules also different color in a luminaire path in succession to switch, each light source modules of different colors are assigned to a different channel. The channel selection is made by using or not using a channel turner in front of the respective lamp module.
- an electrical connection of the plus and minus poles to the output side plug-in connector of the last illuminant module is required.
- This can be achieved, for example, by configuring the output-side plug connector of the light-emitting module in such a way that the complementary plug-in connector of a subsequent module-illuminant module or channel inverter-is plugged therein, the plus pole and the minus pole are contacted with one another.
- the complementary connector for connecting a subsequent module of this short circuit is interrupted and the individual lines connected to those of the successor module.
- a short-circuit plug is inserted into the output-side connector of the last light-emitting module, through which the two poles of each channel are then electrically combined.
- such a lighting module system can also have extension pieces, through which successive lamp modules can be spatially separated from each other.
- Such an extension piece carries complementary connectors at its two ends, one in the output-side connector of a first module, typically a light-emitting module, and the other connector fits in the input side connector of the following module. With such an extension piece, the electrical input contacts are plated through to the electrical output contacts without changing the channel.

- the electrical contacts in the respective channel are coded for distinguishing the different operating modules, to which coding the light-emitting module to be operated therewith is adapted.
- each channel of the lamp module has a protection circuit through which a bypass for passing the current at a false-pole connection takes place as lossless as possible.
- the lighting modules of the described lighting module system are those which have LEDs as light sources.
- FIG. 1 shows a luminaire track, constructed of individual modules of a lighting module system.
- the illumination module system comprises a two-channel operating module B. Its two drivers are identified in the figure by D 1 , D 2 .
- the operating module B carries an output side connector S A.
- the lighting module system comprises light-emitting module L, which are designed monochrome in the illustrated embodiment.
- Such a lamp module L is equipped with an input-side connector S E and an output side connector S A. Since the illuminant modules L are monochrome illuminant modules, only one channel is equipped with light sources. In the illustrated Embodiment are used as light sources LEDs.
- the LEDs are in the first channel.
- the LEDs are in the second channel.
- a protection circuit 1 is provided in the lamp modules L in their respective first channel by a freewheeling diode.
- the free-wheeling diode bridges the number of LEDs in the channel and is connected in the opposite direction to the forward or reverse direction of the LEDs. This achieves the result that, in the case of a false-pole connection of the lamp module L and if the blocking voltage of the LEDs is exceeded, the current in the reverse polarity case flows through the freewheeling diode of the protective circuit and thus on the LED array. In this way, the LEDs are safely protected in case of polarity reversal from destruction or damage.
- the freewheeling diode in the protection circuit 1 the current is passed lossless to the LED array.
- the lighting module system is a channel turner 2 associated.
- the channel turner 2 has an input-side connector S E and an output side connector S A.
- the connectors S E , S A of the channel reverser 2 correspond to the connectors of the lamp module L.
- the channel turner 2 which is switched on between two lamp modules L in the embodiment shown in the figure, there is a change of the channel.
- the first channel received in the input side connector S E is set to the second channel in the output side connector S A and the input side second channel is output to the first channel of the output side connector S A.
- the channel turner 2 is a permutation of the channels. Switched between two lamp modules L, as shown in the figure, the first channel of the second lamp module L is driven by the driver D 2 of the second channel of the operating module B.
- a shorting plug 3 is inserted. With this, the plus line is connected to the minus line in each channel to ensure a current flow in each channel.
- the first channel of the first lamp module L is driven by the driver D 1 of the operating module B, this is done in the second lamp module by the driver D 2nd In this way, identical series-connected lamp modules, when a channel turner 2 is switched on between them, are controlled differently. This can be continued in any way.
- a plurality of lamp modules can be interconnected directly behind each other or with the interposition of extension pieces in each case a lighting track segment, with individual light path segments are separated by a channel turner. This can be repeated several times within a luminaire route.

Abstract
