Definitions

  • the invention relates to a furniture blank according to the preamble of independent claim 1 and to a furniture made from such and a method for manufacturing such a piece of furniture.
  • Furniture blanks with a one-piece flat base body, which consists of a stiff pressed fiber material and has a thickness, can be used to manufacture furniture and in particular three-dimensional furniture.
  • furniture is made from a wide variety of materials.
  • the materials can be selected to suit the intended use of the furniture, the intended function of the furniture or a preferred aesthetic.
  • furniture is regularly made from wood, metal or solid plastics.
  • Compressed fiber materials have also enjoyed increasing popularity in furniture construction in recent years. Modern compressed fiber materials have a strength that is suitable for many applications in furniture construction and are often advantageous for aesthetic and other reasons, such as acoustics.
  • a cabinet furniture known that has a door made of compressed fiber material, namely a compressed polyester fleece or a mixture of natural and synthetic fibers.
  • the pressed fiber material is sound-absorbing and accordingly equips the cabinet furniture with preferred sound-insulating properties.
  • the present invention is therefore based on the object of proposing a furniture blank made of a pressed fiber material or a piece of furniture made therefrom or a method for producing such a piece of furniture which enables simple and efficient production of a three-dimensional piece of furniture.
  • a furniture blank comprises a one-piece flat base body, which consists of a stiff pressed fiber material.
  • the base body is provided with at least one shaping cut and one outer cut.
  • the at least one shaping cut and the outer one Blanks are designed so that the furniture blank can be shaped into three-dimensional furniture.
  • the term "stiff" in connection with the fiber material can refer to the fact that the fiber material is sufficiently strong to keep its intrinsic shape, especially when used as intended. This does not include fiber materials that are freely formable and bendable in the final state, such as foils, cloths or the like, or that are not dimensionally stable in their final state.
  • the term "flat" with respect to the base body can refer to a shape that is essentially planar. For example, it can be a plate-like shape. In particular, this term can refer to the fact that the extension of the base body in the two directions of a plane, such as along an x-axis and a y-axis, is greater than in a direction perpendicular to this plane, such as along a z -Axis.
  • the base body is accordingly an essentially flat structure.
  • the term “in one piece” in connection with the base body can refer to the fact that the base body is made from one piece and not from several parts that can be releasably or non-releasably connected to one another.
  • the base body can nevertheless be composed of interconnected base materials.
  • the base body can be formed from fibers which are connected or glued to one another.
  • compressed fiber material can stand for a fiber composite such as a nonwoven or the like.
  • the at least one shaping cut can in particular be a plurality of shaping cuts.
  • the shaping cut can extend through the base body or project through a thickness of the base body.
  • the at least one shaping cut comprises at least one miter notch, the at least one miter notch having a notch depth that is smaller than the thickness of the base body.
  • the term “thickness” in connection with the base body can refer to an expansion perpendicular to the main expansion plane of the plate-like, for example Obtain the basic shape of the body.
  • the thickness can correspond to the expansion of the base body in the direction of a z-axis.
  • the thickness or extension in the z-axis can be quasi uniform over the base body or can vary to a certain extent.
  • the term “miter notch” refers to a notch that enables a miter in a piece of furniture made from the furniture blank.
  • the corner connection of two work pieces or sections of the furniture blank that meet at an angle can be referred to as a miter.
  • the miter can be the bisector of the angle at which the work parts or sections are in relation to each other.
  • the two side cut surfaces of the notch fit together, which can result in a smooth transition between the work parts or sections.
  • Work parts or sections connected in this way can have a relatively large contact or connection surface, which can increase the stability of the furniture.
  • the butt joint of both workpieces or sections can fall on one edge and therefore appear less.
  • the term “notch depth” is understood in particular to mean a depth of the miter notches into the fiber material. If the base body is basically in a plane having an x-axis and a y-axis, the notch depth typically runs essentially along a z-axis. The notch depth can thus extend from an open end of the miter notch, which extends along a surface of the base body, into the base body to the closed end of the miter notch.
  • the term "three-dimensional" in connection with the furniture folded from the furniture blank can refer to a shape of the furniture that extends in three axes.
  • the term does not mean the basically three-dimensional shape of the base body, but rather the shape of the piece of furniture formed from the base body. So the term does not refer to the basic shape of the basic body that already extends in the directions of the x, y and z axes, but rather a piece of furniture formed from this basic body.
  • a fold formed by means of the miter notch can form an angle of the furniture, which makes the furniture three-dimensional.
  • Three-dimensional furniture in the sense of this revelation can be, for example, cabinet furniture, lockers or wardrobes, boxes, cable trays, spatial partitions or the like.
  • the furniture formed from the base body can also be a roller shutter, the individual slats of the roller shutter being separated from one another by a plurality of shaping cuts or miter notches. The roller shutter can be rolled up over the shaping cuts or miter notches.
  • the furniture blank can include any other components that are needed or useful in furniture made from it.
  • it can have through openings that can be used, for example, as cable passages.
  • it can include reinforcements, handles, Velcro fasteners or the like which are firmly attached to the compressed fiber material.
  • the furniture blank according to the invention or a three-dimensional piece of furniture constructed therefrom can have numerous preferred properties.
  • the furniture blank enables the furniture to be assembled simply and efficiently due to the miter notches in the base body. Furniture made of compressed fiber material can also be aesthetically pleasing.
  • the pressed fiber material can also be dyed and / or printed and / or coated and / or laminated, for example using the offset method. Or it can have rounded corners via a suitable arrangement of several miter notches as described in detail below, which allows the furniture to have a soft appearance.
  • edges created on the furniture by the at least one shaping cut or the at least one miter notch can also bring advantages.
  • such edges can be formed as sharp edges and nevertheless there is no risk of injury due to the material, which would have to be mitigated with specific measures.
  • This allows the furniture to be designed with such sharp edges without any problems.
  • Relatively fine edges are also possible in the furniture, which result in a round appearance.
  • the compressed fiber material can give the furniture other advantages that are desired in many applications.
  • the compressed fiber material can be sound-absorbing. This can be the case with partitions or be a desired property in large rooms.
  • the compressed material can also be flame-retardant, which in turn can often be desired.
  • Compressed fiber materials can also be produced relatively inexpensively, so that the prices for furniture made from them can be relatively low.
  • the furniture blank also allows the furniture to be transported and delivered relatively slim in a disassembled state.
  • the structure of the piece of furniture is predetermined by the at least one shaping cut or the at least one miter notch, so that the piece of furniture can be easily shaped and assembled at its destination. Tool-free assembly of the furniture at its destination is also relatively easy.
  • the furniture blank can also simply follow a predetermined shape by means of the at least one shaping cut or can be freely shaped in a predetermined frame.
  • the at least one miter notch of the base body preferably narrows with increasing notch depth.
  • the term "narrow" can refer to a tapered shape in the context of miter notches.
  • the at least one miter notch preferably has a quasi V-shaped cross section.
  • the cross section of the at least one miter notch each preferably includes a tip that describes an interior angle.
  • the inner angle of the cross section of the at least one miter notch is preferably designed such that it predefines a fold angle which defines the circumference of a fold along the associated miter notch.
  • miter notches can together form a curve in a piece of furniture made from the furniture blank.
  • a plurality of miter notches can together form a predefined angle in the furniture. For example, ten neighboring or parallel ones Miter notches each have an inside angle of 9 °. Together, these ten miter notches then form a rounded right angle in the furniture.
  • the compressed fiber material is a needle punch.
  • a needle fleece can be produced efficiently and have properties of the type described above.
  • the compressed fiber material is preferably a needled polyester fleece, which has a proportion of about 30% to about 50% or about 40% of higher-melting polyester fibers and the rest consists of adhesive fibers or bicofibers.
  • the term "bicofiber" or two-component fiber in this context can refer to a fiber made from a combination of polymers. The different fibers are mixed and needled. Then they are tempered and pressed. Such needled polyester nonwovens can have a relatively high strength and can be flame-retardant and sound-absorbing. Such polyester nonwovens can also be produced efficiently and relatively inexpensively. If this is desired, the polyester fibers can also be easily dyed so that the furniture blank can be efficiently designed optically.
  • the thickness of the base body is preferably in a range from approximately 2 millimeters (mm) to approximately 20 mm.
  • the thickness of the base body of the furniture blank can in particular be approximately 10 mm, although it can also have different thicknesses. Furniture blanks dimensioned in this way can be suitable for a large number of pieces of furniture and have preferred properties to an appropriate extent.
  • the compressed fiber material of the base body preferably has a weight per unit area which is in a range from approximately 0.5 kg / m 2 to approximately 5 kg / m 2 .
  • the weight per unit area can be approximately 3 kg / m 2 .
  • a further aspect of the invention relates to a piece of furniture which is produced from a piece of furniture as described above, the piece of furniture having at least one edge which is formed by shaping the base body of the piece of furniture, the fold of the piece of furniture forming the at least one edge being formed by the at least one shaping cut of the base body of the furniture blank is defined.

  • the piece of furniture preferably has a pivotably openable door which is formed by a door section of the furniture blank, the door section of the furniture blank having the at least one shaping cut which forms a hinge about which the door can be pivoted.
  • a door with such a hinge can enable efficient manufacture and aesthetically pleasing design of the furniture.
  • a shaping cut designed as a miter notch can enable the formation of a film hinge. Pressed fiber materials are often sufficiently strong and at the same time movable that such a film hinge is suitable for the door of the furniture.
  • Another further aspect of the invention relates to a method for producing a three-dimensional piece of furniture as described above.
  • the method comprises the steps: providing a compressed fiber material; Cutting the pressed fiber material so that an outer cut of a basic body of a furniture blank is defined; Cutting the compressed fiber material so that the basic body of the furniture blank is equipped with at least one shaping cut; Shaping or folding the base body of the furniture blank along the at least one shaping cut; and stabilizing mutually shaped or folded sections of the base body of the furniture blank.

Description

Technisches GebietTechnical field

The invention relates to a furniture blank according to the preamble of independent claim 1 and to a furniture made from such and a method for manufacturing such a piece of furniture. Furniture blanks with a one-piece flat base body, which consists of a stiff pressed fiber material and has a thickness, can be used to manufacture furniture and in particular three-dimensional furniture.

Stand der TechnikState of the art

Nowadays, furniture is made from a wide variety of materials. Among other things, the materials can be selected to suit the intended use of the furniture, the intended function of the furniture or a preferred aesthetic. For example, furniture is regularly made from wood, metal or solid plastics.

In order to give the furniture certain functions or properties, different materials are often combined with one another. For example, it is known to combine wood or metal with a sound-absorbing material for acoustic reasons.

Compressed fiber materials have also enjoyed increasing popularity in furniture construction in recent years. Modern compressed fiber materials have a strength that is suitable for many applications in furniture construction and are often advantageous for aesthetic and other reasons, such as acoustics.

For example, from the DE 20 2014 102 411 U1 a cabinet furniture known that has a door made of compressed fiber material, namely a compressed polyester fleece or a mixture of natural and synthetic fibers. The pressed fiber material is sound-absorbing and accordingly equips the cabinet furniture with preferred sound-insulating properties.

In order to produce a three-dimensional piece of furniture from a pressed fiber material, it is known that, in a similar way to other materials, several flat furniture blanks are connected to one another. The furniture blanks can be glued to one another, for example, or connected using auxiliary structures. Such a combination of several, as from the JP 2002 65 390 and the US 4,325,597 known, furniture blanks can be relatively expensive on the one hand. On the other hand, connection points of the several furniture blanks can also be aesthetically undesirable, or an aesthetically clean connection can make production even more difficult.

The present invention is therefore based on the object of proposing a furniture blank made of a pressed fiber material or a piece of furniture made therefrom or a method for producing such a piece of furniture which enables simple and efficient production of a three-dimensional piece of furniture.

Darstellung der ErfindungPresentation of the invention

The object is achieved according to the invention by a furniture blank as defined by the features of independent claim 1 and by a piece of furniture as defined by the features of independent claim 9 and a method as defined by the features of independent claim 11 is. Advantageous embodiments of the invention result from the dependent claims.

The essence of the invention is as follows: A furniture blank comprises a one-piece flat base body, which consists of a stiff pressed fiber material. The base body is provided with at least one shaping cut and one outer cut. The at least one shaping cut and the outer one Blanks are designed so that the furniture blank can be shaped into three-dimensional furniture.

The term "stiff" in connection with the fiber material can refer to the fact that the fiber material is sufficiently strong to keep its intrinsic shape, especially when used as intended. This does not include fiber materials that are freely formable and bendable in the final state, such as foils, cloths or the like, or that are not dimensionally stable in their final state.

The term "flat" with respect to the base body can refer to a shape that is essentially planar. For example, it can be a plate-like shape. In particular, this term can refer to the fact that the extension of the base body in the two directions of a plane, such as along an x-axis and a y-axis, is greater than in a direction perpendicular to this plane, such as along a z -Axis. The base body is accordingly an essentially flat structure.

The term “in one piece” in connection with the base body can refer to the fact that the base body is made from one piece and not from several parts that can be releasably or non-releasably connected to one another. The base body can nevertheless be composed of interconnected base materials. For example, the base body can be formed from fibers which are connected or glued to one another.

The term "compressed fiber material" can stand for a fiber composite such as a nonwoven or the like.

The at least one shaping cut can in particular be a plurality of shaping cuts. The shaping cut can extend through the base body or project through a thickness of the base body. The at least one shaping cut comprises at least one miter notch, the at least one miter notch having a notch depth that is smaller than the thickness of the base body.

The term “thickness” in connection with the base body can refer to an expansion perpendicular to the main expansion plane of the plate-like, for example Obtain the basic shape of the body. For example, the thickness can correspond to the expansion of the base body in the direction of a z-axis. The thickness or extension in the z-axis can be quasi uniform over the base body or can vary to a certain extent.

In connection with the invention, the term “miter notch” refers to a notch that enables a miter in a piece of furniture made from the furniture blank. The corner connection of two work pieces or sections of the furniture blank that meet at an angle can be referred to as a miter. The miter can be the bisector of the angle at which the work parts or sections are in relation to each other. As a result, the two side cut surfaces of the notch fit together, which can result in a smooth transition between the work parts or sections. Work parts or sections connected in this way can have a relatively large contact or connection surface, which can increase the stability of the furniture. In addition, the butt joint of both workpieces or sections can fall on one edge and therefore appear less.

In connection with the invention, the term “notch depth” is understood in particular to mean a depth of the miter notches into the fiber material. If the base body is basically in a plane having an x-axis and a y-axis, the notch depth typically runs essentially along a z-axis. The notch depth can thus extend from an open end of the miter notch, which extends along a surface of the base body, into the base body to the closed end of the miter notch.

The term "three-dimensional" in connection with the furniture folded from the furniture blank can refer to a shape of the furniture that extends in three axes. In particular, the term does not mean the basically three-dimensional shape of the base body, but rather the shape of the piece of furniture formed from the base body. So the term does not refer to the basic shape of the basic body that already extends in the directions of the x, y and z axes, but rather a piece of furniture formed from this basic body. A fold formed by means of the miter notch can form an angle of the furniture, which makes the furniture three-dimensional. Three-dimensional furniture in the sense of this revelation can be, for example, cabinet furniture, lockers or wardrobes, boxes, cable trays, spatial partitions or the like. The furniture formed from the base body can also be a roller shutter, the individual slats of the roller shutter being separated from one another by a plurality of shaping cuts or miter notches. The roller shutter can be rolled up over the shaping cuts or miter notches.

The furniture blank can include any other components that are needed or useful in furniture made from it. For example, it can have through openings that can be used, for example, as cable passages. Or it can include reinforcements, handles, Velcro fasteners or the like which are firmly attached to the compressed fiber material.

By using a pressed fiber material that is often sufficiently strong and stable for a piece of furniture, the furniture blank according to the invention or a three-dimensional piece of furniture constructed therefrom can have numerous preferred properties. In particular, the furniture blank enables the furniture to be assembled simply and efficiently due to the miter notches in the base body. Furniture made of compressed fiber material can also be aesthetically pleasing. For this purpose, the pressed fiber material can also be dyed and / or printed and / or coated and / or laminated, for example using the offset method. Or it can have rounded corners via a suitable arrangement of several miter notches as described in detail below, which allows the furniture to have a soft appearance.

The edge created on the furniture by the at least one shaping cut or the at least one miter notch can also bring advantages. For example, such edges can be formed as sharp edges and nevertheless there is no risk of injury due to the material, which would have to be mitigated with specific measures. This allows the furniture to be designed with such sharp edges without any problems. Relatively fine edges are also possible in the furniture, which result in a round appearance.

The compressed fiber material can give the furniture other advantages that are desired in many applications. For example, the compressed fiber material can be sound-absorbing. This can be the case with partitions or be a desired property in large rooms. The compressed material can also be flame-retardant, which in turn can often be desired.

Compressed fiber materials can also be produced relatively inexpensively, so that the prices for furniture made from them can be relatively low. The furniture blank also allows the furniture to be transported and delivered relatively slim in a disassembled state. The structure of the piece of furniture is predetermined by the at least one shaping cut or the at least one miter notch, so that the piece of furniture can be easily shaped and assembled at its destination. Tool-free assembly of the furniture at its destination is also relatively easy. The furniture blank can also simply follow a predetermined shape by means of the at least one shaping cut or can be freely shaped in a predetermined frame.

In some embodiments, the at least one miter notch of the base body preferably narrows with increasing notch depth. The term "narrow" can refer to a tapered shape in the context of miter notches. In particular, the miter notches can have a cutting width that decreases continuously with increasing notch depth. As a result, the cutting width is maximum at the beginning of the notch depth or at a notch depth = 0 and minimal or = 0 at the full notch depth. Miter notches shaped in this way can allow parts of the furniture blank to be preferably tilted or folded toward one another. The at least one miter notch preferably has a quasi V-shaped cross section.

The cross section of the at least one miter notch each preferably includes a tip that describes an interior angle. The inner angle of the cross section of the at least one miter notch is preferably designed such that it predefines a fold angle which defines the circumference of a fold along the associated miter notch. Several miter notches can together form a curve in a piece of furniture made from the furniture blank. A plurality of miter notches can together form a predefined angle in the furniture. For example, ten neighboring or parallel ones Miter notches each have an inside angle of 9 °. Together, these ten miter notches then form a rounded right angle in the furniture.

According to the invention, the compressed fiber material is a needle punch. Such a needle fleece can be produced efficiently and have properties of the type described above.

The compressed fiber material is preferably a needled polyester fleece, which has a proportion of about 30% to about 50% or about 40% of higher-melting polyester fibers and the rest consists of adhesive fibers or bicofibers. The term "bicofiber" or two-component fiber in this context can refer to a fiber made from a combination of polymers.

The thickness of the base body is preferably in a range from approximately 2 millimeters (mm) to approximately 20 mm. The thickness of the base body of the furniture blank can in particular be approximately 10 mm, although it can also have different thicknesses. Furniture blanks dimensioned in this way can be suitable for a large number of pieces of furniture and have preferred properties to an appropriate extent.

The compressed fiber material of the base body preferably has a weight per unit area which is in a range from approximately 0.5 kg / m 2 to approximately 5 kg / m 2 . In particular, the weight per unit area can be approximately 3 kg / m 2 .

A further aspect of the invention relates to a piece of furniture which is produced from a piece of furniture as described above, the piece of furniture having at least one edge which is formed by shaping the base body of the piece of furniture, the fold of the piece of furniture forming the at least one edge being formed by the at least one shaping cut of the base body of the furniture blank is defined.

The furniture can be, for example, a sideboard, a locker or a container. The piece of furniture according to the invention can also be integrated into another piece of furniture or be part of an entire piece of furniture. For example, the piece of furniture can be a cable trough that can be attached to a table, or a partition that runs along a table, or a cable tube that runs cables on the underside of the table. The effects and advantages described above in connection with the furniture blank can be efficiently implemented with the furniture or furniture part according to the invention.

The piece of furniture preferably has a pivotably openable door which is formed by a door section of the furniture blank, the door section of the furniture blank having the at least one shaping cut which forms a hinge about which the door can be pivoted. Such a door with such a hinge can enable efficient manufacture and aesthetically pleasing design of the furniture. In particular, a shaping cut designed as a miter notch can enable the formation of a film hinge. Pressed fiber materials are often sufficiently strong and at the same time movable that such a film hinge is suitable for the door of the furniture.

Another further aspect of the invention relates to a method for producing a three-dimensional piece of furniture as described above. The method comprises the steps: providing a compressed fiber material; Cutting the pressed fiber material so that an outer cut of a basic body of a furniture blank is defined; Cutting the compressed fiber material so that the basic body of the furniture blank is equipped with at least one shaping cut; Shaping or folding the base body of the furniture blank along the at least one shaping cut; and stabilizing mutually shaped or folded sections of the base body of the furniture blank.

Forming cuts or notches can be cut into the pressed fiber material in different ways. For example, a laser can be used for this. Alternatively, the notches could also be cut by means of a water jet or in a conventional manner, for example with a knife, a saw or a milling machine. The shaping cuts can also be punched. Analogously, the compressed fiber material can also be cut to size.

With the method according to the invention, the effects and advantages described above in connection with the furniture blank and the furniture made therefrom can be efficiently realized.

The sections of the base body of the furniture blank which are folded toward one another are preferably stabilized by connecting adjacent sections of the base body of the furniture blank to one another. For example, the adjacent sections can be glued together. With such a connection, the furniture can be sufficiently stable.

The method preferably further comprises the steps: cutting an opening cut into the pressed fiber material; and cutting a flap cut into the pressed fiber material, the flap cut forming a flap in the pressed fiber material, which is inserted into the opening formed by the opening cut after the folding of the basic body of the furniture blank along the miter notches to stabilize the folded-together sections of the basic body of the furniture blank . With such tabs and openings, the sections of the furniture blank can be securely connected to one another. As a result, the furniture can be assembled easily without additional resources or without tools.

Fig. 1 shows a first embodiment of a furniture blank 1 according to the invention. The furniture blank 1 has a one-piece flat base body 11, which is made of a rigid needled polyester fleece, which has a share of 40% of higher-melting polyester fibers and the rest consists of bicoofibers. The base body 11 has a uniform thickness or material thickness of 3 millimeters (mm).

The base body 11 has an outer cut 111 and a plurality of sections, namely a base section 116 with a front area 1161 and a folding area 1162 as a door section, a rear wall section 117, two wing-like side side wall sections 118 with a folding area 1181 and two front wall segment sections each closing one of the side wall sections 118 1182. The folding area 1162 of the base section 116 is essentially rectangular in shape and merges into the rear area 1161 at its upper end. The rear area 1161 is also essentially rectangular and projects laterally beyond the folding area 1162 to the left and to the right. At its longitudinal end facing away from the folding region 1162, the rear region 1161 of the base section 116 merges into the rear wall section 117. The side wall sections 118 connect laterally left and right to the rear wall section 117 and each extend outwards.

The sections of the base body 11 are separated from one another on their mutually adjacent sides by a straight miter notch 112 as a shaping cut. In particular, there is a miter notch 112 in each case between the rear wall section 117 and the two side wall sections 118, the side wall sections 118 and the front wall segment sections 1182 and the rear wall section 117 and the rear region 1161 of the base section 116 arranged. In addition, a straight miter notch 112 is formed as a shaping cut between the rear region 1161 and the folding region 1162 of the base section 116 and also along the fold-in regions 1181 of the side wall sections 118. The miter notches 112 have a notch depth of 2 mm. The notch depth is therefore 1 mm smaller than the thickness of the base body 11. In addition, the miter notches 112 are V-shaped in cross section, the tip of the cross section describing an inside angle of approximately 90 °.

The base body 11 is equipped with a plurality of through openings 115. In particular, the two side wall sections 118 each have a round opening 1151 and a rectangular opening 1152 at their folding regions 1181.

The base body 11 is further equipped with a plurality of tabs 113 and associated slots 114 as openings. In particular, two front tabs 1131 extend downward from the parts of the rear region 1161 of the base section 116 which project laterally from the folding region 1162. In the opposite direction, two rear tabs 1132 are also formed on the rear region 1161 of the base section 116. The two front flaps 1131 include two front slots 1142, each of which are embedded in one of the fold-in areas 1181 of the side wall sections 118. Analogously, the two rear tabs 1132 include two rear slots 1141, which are also each set in one of the folding areas 1181 of the side wall sections 118. Furthermore, a side flap 1133 each extends downward from the front wall segment sections 1182 and the two side wall sections 118 each comprise an associated side slot 1143.

The miter notches 112, the blank 11, the openings 115, the tabs 113 and the slots 114 are cut into the needled polyester fleece. This can be done, for example, by means of a laser, which enables precise cuts to be made in a desired cutting geometry.

In 2, 3 and Fig. 4 is one of the furniture blank 1 from Fig. 1 assembled cable tray 2 shown as the first embodiment of a three-dimensional piece of furniture according to the invention. In particular, the miter notches 112 and Outer blank 111 of the base body 11 is formed such that the furniture blank 1 from Fig. 1 is foldable to the cable tray 2.

As in Fig. 2 As can best be seen, the cable trough 2 comprises a base 21 with a flat surface, two side side walls 22, an upper rear wall 23 connecting the left side wall 22 with the right side wall 22 and two front wall segments 24 each adjoining the side walls 22 laterally. The base 21 of the cable tray 2 is composed of the base section 116 and the fold-in areas 1181 of the side wall sections 118 of the base body 11 of the furniture blank 1. The two side wall sections 118 are folded along the miter notches 112 to the rear wall section 117 and along the miter notches 112 to the fold-in area 1181. The inside angle The cross sections of the miter notches 112 define a folding angle of 90 ° around which the side wall sections 118 are folded over with respect to the rear wall section 117 and the fold-in areas 1181.

At the same time, the rear wall section 117 of the base body 11 of the furniture blank 1 is folded over by 90 ° toward the base section 116 along the corresponding miter notch 112, so that the rear wall section 117 forms the rear wall 23 of the cable trough 2. The front wall segment sections 1182 are also folded over to the side wall sections 118 by 90 °, so that they form the front wall segments 1182 the front wall segments 24 of the cable trough 2.

To attach the side wall sections 118 to the rear wall section 117 and to the base section 116, the front tabs 1131 are each inserted into one of the front slots 1142 and the rear tabs 1132 into the rear slots 1141. At the same time, the side tabs 1133 are inserted into the side slots 1143 for attaching the front wall segment sections 1181. As a result, the mutually folded sections of the base body 11 of the furniture blank 1 are stabilized in the cable trough 2 by the respectively adjacent sections being connected to one another by means of the tabs 113 arranged in the slots 114. The cable tray 2 can thus be efficiently constructed as a stable three-dimensional structure.

The folding area 1162 of the base section 116 can be opened and closed in the cable trough 2. In Fig. 2 it can be folded down so that the cable tray 2 opens and can be closed. It thus forms a door or a door-like construction of the cable trough 2. The miter notch 112, which separates the folding region 1162 from the rear wall region 117 in the base section 116, forms a film hinge for the door of the cable trough 2. As in FIGS 2, 3 and 4th it can be seen that the folds predefined by the miter notches 112 in the base body 11 of the furniture blank 1 each produce edges 25 of the cable trough 2, which determine the shape of the cable trough 2.
