Description

The invention relates to a rectangular sound-absorbing panel which is made of a piece of solid wood, of composite wood of the type lamellar or glued wood or of a wood-derived material, which on the, in the mounted state, frontal visible panel surface recesses, such as. zueinender parallel longitudinal grooves and / or bores or recesses which are arranged according to the longitudinal axis of the panel, while provided on the opposite rear, not visible, surface, transverse grooves which extend to the longitudinal axis of the panel at an angle of approximately 90 ° or inclined, wherein the rear transverse grooves have such a depth that, in the areas of superposition with the frontal grooves, bores, recesses and / or bores, free passages are obtained. According to the invention, the panel itself, or the panel which is provided in a known manner on the non-visible surface with panels, mats or webs of sound-absorbing, or sound-insulating, material, in conjunction with identical or similar panels which a different aesthetics, determined by have the nature and arrangement of the visible grooves, recesses and / or holes, suitable for the creation of soundproofing panels.

From the FR 1.015.972 (Francine Gilbert ) are known simple or composite sound-absorbing panels which are provided with grooves, one on the visible front surface and the other on the back surface; the depth of said grooves is such that free passages are obtained at the overlapping points. Said grooves have a constant depth over their entire longitudinal extent and thus the cross section of the panel is in all areas, even in the field of attachment between the panels or the attachment to a support structure or support surface, uniform. Because of the uniform geometry of the area exposed to the sound source, and because of the possibly different geometry that extends across the entire panel, the absorption and dispersion effect of the panel is effective for sounds within a particular frequency while the effect on other frequencies is weaker or ineffective , The Absorbtionseffekt, or dispersion effect, said panels is therefore the same for the entire extent of the panel.

From the CH 683112 A5 (Fries Arthur ) is a panel is known which is provided on both major surfaces with recesses which communicate in the areas of their superposition inside the panel below. These recesses have different shapes on the two surfaces, eg the shape of grooves on the visible surface and of holes on the opposite surface. The object of the described invention is to provide a sound absorbing panel in which it is possible to choose the design of the panels with respect to the objects to be solved and the circumstances by varying the determining parameters. This object is achieved in that the recesses on the visible surface have different shape from the recesses on the opposite surface. This task also provides that, despite the possibility of varying the depth, the longitudinal dimensions and the shape, in particular of the recesses on the visible surface, in a variety of ways, the panel has uniform dimensions, shapes and thus also constant sound absorption over the entire extent; Furthermore, the panel does not provide an area with a more resistant and stable cross-section to use for connecting and / or anchoring the individual panels.

From the US 2007/0193175 a decorative acoustic panel is known in which, be it on the front visible, the sound source facing surface, as well as on the rear surface, mutually parallel grooves are provided, the front grooves are arranged symmetrically to the rear. The remaining wall between each front and rear groove is penetrated by holes. The front groove may be wavy, triangular or concave / convex with respect to the groove bottom. These panels have the disadvantage that, because of the superposition of each front groove with each rear groove, they have a series of pronounced cross-sectional reductions which are additionally weakened by the holes. These areas of reduced cross-section all extend to the very edge of the panel. The corrugated, triangular or concave / convex groove base of the front grooves causes, especially with inclined inclined to the groove direction panels, the connection area adjacent the panel, due to the varying groove depth, visually unfavorable. The varying groove depth on the visible front panel surface further causes the connection to the adjacent panel and the relevant connector with this, hardly a uniform joint is feasible. These panels have no thicker cross-section at the edge of the groove for a solid attachment to a mounting structure or to give greater dimensional stability to the panel, for example, the panel tends to be transverse to the course of the grooves even at low compression, according to the course of the cross-sectional reductions to arch. In these known panels passages between the front grooves and the rear grooves are made by drilling, so it must be carried out in the production, for example in wood, three operations with different tools. The passages between the front and rear grooves made by the bores cause the sound not to reach the rear groove directly from the front groove, but reach it only after passing through holes of different lengths.

US 2008/0289901 A1 discloses a panel having the features of the preamble of claim 1.

The invention has as its object to provide a rectangular sound-absorbing panel panel of the type described above which is made of a single piece of solid wood, laminated wood of the type lamellar wood, laminated wood or a wood-derived material which is suitable to absorb sound within a wide frequency range, which has a stable shape to facilitate easy, safe and durable installation, the dimensional stability allows the mounting of the panels alone or in a known manner in combination with other panels, mats or sheets of sound-absorbing material.

To solve this problem, the invention proposes that the front recesses which, when mounted panel, are visible and have the form of grooves, recesses and / or holes, have such aesthetic width, shape and arrangement that, in the assembly with identical A uniform design is created for panels, while the depth of the grooves, recesses and / or holes is different for acoustic reasons. The recesses on the rear surface according to the invention always have the form of grooves which, to the longitudinal axis of the panel, 90 ° transverse or angled run, are parallel to each other and may have the same or different width and distances. These recesses have much smaller depth, or missing (depth equal to 0), at least in the longitudinal edge regions of the panel, but possibly also in the transverse edge areas, in these areas of mutual connection of the panels, eg by means of plug connection and / or anchoring or attachment of the Panels on a supporting surface or structure to have a larger, more resistant and dimensionally stable cross-section. The said rear transverse grooves may have the same or varying depth in the central region, for example with a circular arc groove bottom. The combination of the front grooves and / or the holes with the rear grooves causes the free passages which are formed in the overlapping areas between the said recesses to be arranged in different planes and that, due to the reflective surfaces with different expansion and with different arrangement with respect on the visible surface of the panel, along with the different ones absorbent volumes disposed at the front and back of the free passageways produce a different dispersion and absorption effect to achieve good sound attenuation for a wide range of sound frequencies. According to the invention, this acoustic effect can be further influenced by the fact that the front recesses, recesses and or bores, viewed in cross-section, are all or partially angled against one or the opposite longitudinal edge region, without precluding a V-shaped arrangement of two grooves, recesses or bores wherein the common opening thereof is visible on the visible surface of the panel like the opening of a simple groove, recess and / or bore.

Advantageously, the rear grooves on the non-visible surface of the panel can be performed by means of a saw blade or a disc milling machine which has a diameter such that the feed creates a groove whose groove bottom is circular arc-shaped, wherein the circular arc begins, for example, on one of the longitudinal edges of the panel and on the mutual longitudinal edge ends, without precluding that the adjustment of the saw blade or the disc milling machine in the direction of the panel may be such that in the region of the longitudinal edges, or only one of the longitudinal edges, the rear panel surface remains unaffected or that the groove has a depth which is lower than the plane is which contains the longitudinal edges. The rear grooves may also have a groove bottom which extends in the two extreme longitudinal areas of the panel in a circular arc while it can be rectilinear horizontally, rectilinear or wavy in the central region by the cutting tool is moved straight across with constant depth of cut in the first case, in the second case the cutting tool is moved in a straight line with progressively increasing or decreasing depth of cut, and in the third case, the cutting depth is changed cyclically with respect to the transverse displacement of the tool. Of course, a series of rear grooves, or may all be provided on the back of the panel grooves, by means of a single shaft equipped with a plurality of mutually spaced, saw blades or disc milling performed, the width of the grooves by a single cut or by several consecutive cuts can be determined. The invention further does not exclude that the width and / or the mutual distance of the rear grooves is different; in the case of grooves at an angle of 90 ° to the longitudinal axis of the panel, it may be possible to use the same cutting tool used to cut the panel, which is used to make the grooves, with a depth of cut greater than the thickness of the panel. In the case where several cutting blades are mounted on the same shaft, there is a possibility that at the beginning and at the end of the row of blades for the grooves, one saw blade with a larger diameter is provided for cutting the panel to length.

Preferably, the panel, after execution of the rear grooves, advantageously in a single pass, the front grooves, recesses and holes, as well as the connectors on the longitudinal edges and the planing of the panel surfaces are performed.

The invention will be explained in more detail with reference to an embodiment of a preferred, sound-absorbing panel according to the invention schematically illustrated in the accompanying drawings, while the drawings meet purely explanatory, non-limiting purpose.

The Fig. 7 shows the cross section through a panel according to the invention which on the front longitudinal grooves which are inclined against one or the other longitudinal edge of the panel and which has a groove which branches in the interior of the panel in two V-shaped grooves which both with the rear transverse grooves have a circular arc ground connection.

The panel of solid wood of lamellar wood or of a wood-derived material, e.g. wood chips or wood fibers having a rectangular shape and a certain thickness is provided on the visible or front surface A with a series of grooves 2, recesses 2b and / or bores 9 which are arranged parallel to each other while on the rear surface B rear mutually parallel transverse grooves 1 which are arranged at an angle of 90 ° or inclined to the longitudinal axis of the panel; They have the shape of circle segments with their chord equal to the width of the rear surface B and the groove depth is greatest in the central region of the panel. The depth of the front grooves 2, recesses 2b and / or holes 9 is dimensioned such that, in the areas of superposition of these with the rear grooves 1, free passages 2a arise.

The geometry of the front grooves 2, recesses 2b and / or holes 9, together with the rear grooves 1, in the two longitudinal edge regions between the longitudinal edge of the panel and the corresponding first groove 2, the row of recesses 2b and / or the series of Holes 9, larger panel portions 3, 3a, while the cross sections of the portions 3b between said first grooves 2, the row of recesses 2 and / or the series of holes 9 are smaller because in the corresponding area, the rear grooves 1 are deeper.

In the examples shown in the drawings, the connection between the longitudinal edges of the panels is made by means of a longitudinal spring 5 and a corresponding longitudinal groove 4. Advantageously, the surfaces are at the said Plug connection formed so that in the region of this a groove is formed whose width corresponds to that of the front grooves 2; the said groove being formed by horizontally displacing the lateral surface 7 on the side of the visible surface A of the panel, opposite the corresponding surface 6 on the side of the rear surface B del panel, by the amount of the width of the grooves 2; On the side of the groove 4, however, lie the lateral surfaces 8 in a single vertical plane.

According to the invention, the rear grooves 1, in the region of the longitudinal edges 1a, can have such a depth and shape that the edges 1a are not interrupted ( Fig. 1 . 2 ) that, in addition to the edge 1a, a certain area 1b of the rear face B of the panel 1 is not interrupted ( Fig. 2a ) or that one or both edges 1a through the depth of cut 1c ( Fig. 2b ) to be interrupted. In all three cases, the cross section of the two portions 3, 3a of the longitudinal edge region of the panel 1 is always larger with respect to the cross sections of the portions 3b which are between the two front grooves 2, between the two rows of recesses 2b and / or between the two Rows of holes 9, near the respective longitudinal edges of the panel, extend.

The invention does not exclude that a plug-in connection is also provided on the end faces of the panel, or that the connection is produced by known connecting elements which are worked from the panel itself or as separate elements, such as e.g. Dowels to be attached.

The process for the manufacture of the panel according to the invention is relatively simple and practicable by means of known, widely used, maintenance-friendly, functionally reliable devices. The basic method requires a circular saw or a disc milling machine for cutting the rear grooves 1 with linear automatic feed which, with respect to the axis of rotation of the saw blade or the disc cutter, regarding the depth of cut, is adjustable. It is not excluded that several saw blades or disc milling on a single Shaft are mounted so that at the same time several rear grooves 1 or all rear grooves 1 can be cut simultaneously. In the case of rear grooves 1 with groove bottom extending partly rectilinearly, parallel to the surfaces A and B, it is necessary that the panel or the shaft of the milling machine or the saw, during the cutting process, is displaced laterally in a straight line; in the case of an inclined groove bottom, a change in the cutting depth must take place simultaneously during the lateral displacement, according to a certain ratio. In the case of the rear grooves 1 with corrugated groove bottom, a cyclic change of the depth of cut must take place during the lateral displacement.

The same single saw blade or the same disc milling machine according to the invention can also be used for cutting the panel parallel to the rear grooves 1. In the case of several shaft-mounted saw blades or disc cutters for simultaneous execution of all the rear grooves 1, a saw blade of larger diameter may be provided on the same shaft at the end and / or the beginning of the row of saw blades or disc milling, so that during the Cutting the grooves 1, the panel is cut to length.
