Definitions
- the invention relates to a mixing container with an upper-side filling opening, with a flange projecting in the radial direction outwards in the region of the upper-side filling opening for connecting the mixing container to the mixing head of an industrial mixing machine and with an underside lockable and openable outlet.
- the invention further relates to an emptying station for such a mixing container.
- Mixing containers of this type are connected to a mixing machine for mixing mixed material therein.
- Such mixing machines are industrial mixers which are used for mixing, in particular, bulk material, typically powdered bulk material, such as is required for producing plastic granulate mixtures or else in the paint industry.
- These mixing machines have a comparison with a frame pivotally mounted mixing head, which also serves to seal a mixing container containing the mixing container, which is connected for the purpose of mixing the mixed material therein to the mixing head. After connecting the mixing container to the mixing head a closed container is formed from the mixing head and the container containing the mix.
- the mixing head has one or more connecting elements, for example a circumferential flange as a contact surface for a complementary connection flange of the mixing container and locking members for locking the mixing container to the mixing head. Due to the fact that in these mixing machines a mixing container containing the mix is connected to the mixing head, these mixers are also addressed as a container mixer.
- the mixing head itself is pivotally arranged relative to the machine frame of the mixing machine, so that the mixing with respect to the mixing head in an overhead position, in which the mixing head at the bottom and the mixing container connected thereto are located at the top. In this position, the lower side discharge opening of the mixing container is after pointing up.
- This overhead position is required for the mix to come in contact with the at least one mixing tool carried by the mixhead.
- the rotationally driven mixing tool is used to generate a Mischgutstromes within the closed mixing chamber.
- the duration of the mixing process determines the degree of mixing.
- Such an industrial mixer is for example off EP 0 225 495 A2 known.
- Mixing containers of the type described above are made of stainless steel, so that they meet the requirements placed on the container during mixing.
- the filling opening of the mixing container is formed by the upper end of a ring-cylindrical wall. Adjacent thereto, in the direction of the spout, is a truncated cone section designed as a ring, by means of which the inner diameter of the container is tapered from a cylindrical diameter to the diameter of the spout.
- a shut-off valve is installed to open and close it. This is usually manually operable from the outside by means of a lever. If the mixed material contained in such a mixing container is mixed, the mixing container is moved with the mixed mix to an emptying station.
- the outlet is connected to the inlet of the next process station.
- the shut-off flap is then opened, so that the mixed pourable mix contained in the mixing container can flow out of this.
- the emptying of such a mixed container takes place in dependence on the downstream process station in one batch or in several smaller batches. In the latter case, the mixing container still serves as a storage container.
- mixed material bridges When emptying pourable mixes mixed material bridges can form in the conically tapered section. In such a case, only the mix below such a Mischgutmaschine can flow out of the mixing container without additional measures.
- Such mixed material bridges arise through compaction of the mixed material in the mixing container by reducing the pore volume, typically by means of a material setting process in the region of the tapered container section, favored by the weight of the mixed material located above.
- a vibration motor or a knock generator is connected in the emptying station to the outer wall of the mixing container.
- the mixture contained in the mixing container is set in motion or held during the process of emptying and thus fluidized in some way, which is counteracted the emergence of Mischgut viten during emptying. Arisen Mischgut viten can be destroyed by such a measure.
- the invention is therefore the object of such a form a mixing container of the type that, even if filled with Mischgut viten tilting mix, without significant additional noise can be emptied as intended.
- the mixing container comprises a mixing container forming the cavity of the mixing container with a flexible wall enclosing its cavity and a container frame holding the mixing container with the connection flange and the outlet which container frame the mixing container is held such that its cavity enclosing wall in the circumferential direction is at least partially accessible to effect a deformation thereof in the radial direction.
- This mixing container has a flexible mixing container and a container frame in which the flexible mixing container is held. At least the wall enclosing the cavity of the mixing container has flexible properties, so that it can be deformed by the action of external forces, utilizing these properties. Thus, a deformation acting on the outside of this wall results in an indentation thereof, thus a change in the geometry of the cavity enclosed by the wall. Such a deformation of the wall simply destroys a mixed material bridge which may be formed in the cavity of the mixing container.
- the mixing container is sufficiently dimensionally stable, so that this, when held in the container frame, the necessary for the process of mixing cavity, without collapsing, provides.
- a container therefore has a sufficient wall thickness.
- the mixing container is held by the container frame, wherein the mixing container is connected according to a preferred embodiment with its upper and its lower end to the container frame.
- the mixing container is held in the direction of its height by the container frame.
- the dimensional stability of the wall enclosing the cavity, to prevent an undesirable collapse of the same during the mixing process is sufficient.
- the mixing process is performed with such a mixing container with a certain overpressure in the cavity containing the mix when the mixing container is connected to the mixing head of a mixing machine.
- This overpressure which may be, for example, 0.3 to 0.5 bar above ambient pressure, builds up during the mixing process and may assist the shape retention of the flexible wall enclosing the cavity. Therefore, such a mixing container is particularly suitable for carrying out a mixing process when it is connected to a mixing machine, is provided by the anyway, to carry out the mixing process with a certain pressure.
- the mixing container is made of a material which is elastically extensible at least to a certain extent. It is envisaged that when mixing a mixed material in a mixing container with such a container whose volume increases when forms an overpressure in the mixing cavity, for example in the aforementioned order of magnitude. The increase in volume associated with the pressure increase in the mixing container of the mixing container causes a slower pressure rise within the cavity.
- mixing material is mixed in the mixing container, which may only be mixed with a maximum internal pressure and / or only with a maximum temperature effect in the mixing container. While limited by this condition, the duration of a mixing operation in conventional mixing containers, when using a mixing container of the type described above due to the only slower internal pressure increase, the mixing time can be made longer. This is set by the elasticity of the material chosen for the preparation of the mixing container and the wall thickness. In order to achieve a significant mixing time for the mixing time, for example, 10 - 20%, due to the size of such mixing containers (for example, 2000 liters) this already achieved with a relatively small wall expansion of the mixing container of the case.
- the container frame is preferably designed to limit the maximum wall extent.
- the mixing container is made with respect to the holder of the container frame with a certain undersize with respect to the radial extent of the mixing container.
- the relevant abutment of the container frame can be provided by struts, strips, wall segments or the like, against which abutment the outer wall of the mixing container is pressed with a corresponding increase in internal pressure.
- the mixing container has in the region of its filling opening via a peripheral, outwardly projecting retaining flange which is brought to bear against the mixing head facing surface of the connecting flange of the container frame.
- the retaining flange is fixed to the connecting flange of the container frame, characterized in that the retaining flange carries over a molded thereon connection extension in the manner of a piping edge, which connecting extension engages in an introduced into this surface of the connecting flange of the container frame circumferential groove. This groove can be undercut.
- connection extension of the mixing container then expediently has for easier insertion into the undercut groove via a thickening designed as a hollow chamber which engages in the undercut of the groove in the abutment flange.
- the mixing container In the region of its lower outlet end, the mixing container according to one embodiment has a likewise projecting radially outward flange, which is connected to a complementary flange in the region of the inlet of the outlet of the container frame. Can be used for fixing the then sealed flanges lying, for example, quick release.
- this material can simultaneously for the necessary sealing between the mixing container and serve the mixing head of the mixing machine, so that additional seals when connecting the mixing container to the mixing head or for connecting the outlet end of the mixing container to the outlet of the container frame are not needed.
- the manufacture of the mixing container made of an elastomer or a polymer with correspondingly elastic properties also allows a coating of the inner surface with an adhesion-minimizing material, such as PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene).
- an adhesion-minimizing material such as PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene).
- PTFE polytetrafluoroethylene
- steel surfaces are not, at least not readily equipped with such coatings, in particular with a PTFE coating.
- the inner surface of the mixing container may also have an adhesion-minimizing surface structuring. A combination of these measures is possible.
- the above-described mixing container not only has the advantage that the wall enclosing the cavity can be turned to prevent the formation of Mischgutmaterialmaschinen and / or eliminate existing Mischgutmaterialmaschinen, but also that the mixing container can be removed from the container frame.
- a first mixed material may serve a first mixing container, which is exchanged for a second mixing container, if currently another mix is to be mixed.
- the first exchanged mixing container can be stored in a space-saving manner, for example on a shelf, due to its flexible wall properties.
- a plurality of mixing containers may be provided for each mix to be mixed in relation to a container frame, which are each assigned to a mix to be mixed therein and mounted in or on the container frame if necessary.
- a mixing container 1 comprises a total with the reference numeral 2 in FIG. 1 characterized container frame and a mixing container 3, which is held in the container frame 2.
- the mixing container 3 holds a cavity 4, in which by the in FIG. 1 recognizable top filling opening 5 mix can be introduced.
- the mixing container 1 corresponds to those known from previously known mixing containers.
- the container frame 2 sits on casters 6, so that it can be moved easily.
- the container frame 2 of the illustrated embodiment provides a container receptacle 7, in which the mixing container 3 is inserted (see FIG. 2 ).
- This container receptacle 7 is provided by a plurality of peripherally arranged at equal or approximately the same angular distance bars 8, which represent an abutment for the outer wall of the mixing container 3 in the radial direction.
- the shape of the strips 8 is adapted to the outer shape of the mixing container 3 in the direction of its longitudinal extent. These strips 8 are connected to an upper ring, which forms its connection flange 9 with respect to the mixing container 1.
- connection flange 9 of the mixing container 1 is connected to the mixing head of an industrial mixing machine, for example, such as these DE 20 2014 101 787 U1 or off DE 20 2009 001 937 U1 has become known.
- These mixing machines are designed so that in the process of mixing no or at least no appreciable heat is added to the mix during the mixing process. Mixing without heat input is preferred for use of the mixing container 1.
- the connecting flange 9 is also supported by supports 10 on a carriage 11 carrying the casters 6 as part of the container frame 2. Between two longitudinal struts 12, 12.1 of the carriage 11 an outlet 13 is arranged.
- the outlet 13 comprises an outlet channel 14, in which a butterfly valve 15, in FIG. 2 located in the locked position, is arranged.
- the butterfly valve 15 is actuated by a lever 16 and can be opened by pivoting the same.
- the upper end of the outlet channel 14 carries a connection flange for the purpose of connecting the mixing container 3.
- FIG. 3 shows the mixing container 3 in a perspective view.
- the mixing container 3 carries on the upper side a circumferential retaining flange 17 which projects outwardly in the radial direction.
- the retaining flange 17 is designed to be connected to the connecting flange 9 of the container frame 2, wherein the retaining flange 17 is also provided as a seal between the flange 9 of the container frame 2 and a complementary flange of the mixing head of the mixing machine.
- the mixing container 3 has a geometry as known from previously known mixing containers. Therefore, the mixing container 3 has an upper cylindrical portion 18, an adjoining conically tapered portion 19 and an outlet portion 20.
- the outlet portion 20 carries the underside an outwardly projecting in radial direction connecting flange 20.1 to the mixing container 3 to the outlet 13 and Entrance of the outlet channel 14 of the container frame to connect.
- the mixing container 3 of the illustrated embodiment consists of a vulcanized rubber material having a Shore A hardness of about 50 to 70.
- the wall thickness of the mixing container 3 of the illustrated embodiment is about 3 mm.
- the inner wall of the mixing container 3 is provided with an adhesion-minimizing coating, wherein in the illustrated embodiment, a PTFE coating has been selected.
- the cavity 4 is thus enclosed by the sections 18, 19 in the mixing container 3. Due to the aforementioned material, this wall consisting of sections 18, 19 is flexible and to some extent elastically extensible.
- the mixing container 3 is made with respect to its dimensions with a certain undersize in its diameter with respect to the internal dimensions of the container receptacle 7 of the container frame 2.
- the mixing container 3 when connected to the container frame 2, dimensionally stable. This means that the wall formed from the sections 18, 19 retains its original and intended shape, even if the mixing container 1 filled with mix, connected to the mixing head of a mixing machine and this is pivoted to its mixing position.
- the term "dimensional stability" is to be understood in the context of these statements that the wall formed from the sections 18, 19 of the mixing container 3 does not incident in such an overhead position of the mixing container 1 in the cavity and thus the mixing cavity retains its intended shape. For this purpose, it is not necessarily required that no wall movements may occur during such use of the mixing container. It should only be a collapse and thus a significant change in the geometry of the cavity 4 can be avoided.
- FIG. 4 in a detail sectional view of another connection concept for connecting the filling-side end of a mixing container 3.1 to a container frame shown.
- the container frame is in FIG. 4 shown only in the region of a portion of its upper peripheral connecting flange 9.1. Incidentally, this container frame corresponds to the container frame 9 of the preceding figures.
- a circumferential undercut groove 22 is introduced in the top 21 of the connection flange 9.1 .
- This groove 22 is used to lock a molded onto the retaining flange 17.1 of the mixing container 3.1 connecting extension 23, which is formed in the illustrated embodiment as a hollow chamber profile.
- This embodiment allows a simple pushing in of the thickened part of the connecting extension 23 into the groove 22 of the connecting flange 9.1, namely through the tapered portion of the groove 22 therethrough.
- the Anformung of the connecting flange 23 is provided in the illustrated embodiment at a distance from the radially outer end of the retaining flange 17.1.
- In the radial direction of the retaining flange 17.1 also has a plurality of circumferentially distributed arranged mounting tabs 24. These protrude beyond the outer end of the connection flange 9.1. These serve as a handle for pulling out the connection extension 23 from the circumferential groove 22 when the mixing container 3.1 is to be removed from the container frame.
- a mixing container 1 filled with mix is connected to the mixing head of a mixing machine for mixing.
- the drive shafts of the mixing tool or tools which penetrate the bottom and / or the wall, are sealed in the manner of an air-supported gap seal with respect to a mixture material outlet.
- air is introduced into the then closed mixing container formed from the mixing container and the mixing head during the mixing process, as a result of which the internal pressure increases successively.
- the above-described elastic extensibility of the mixing container 3 of the mixing container 1 dampens the pressure increase, so that the mixing time can be correspondingly longer, without exceeding a not to be exceeded for the mix maximum internal pressure.
- the mixing container 1 is released from the mixing head of the mixing machine and moved to a discharge station 30.
- the emptying station 30 has a retraction positioning, which in the illustrated embodiment is provided by two struts 31, 31.1 is. Is the mixing container 1 in its docking position in the retracted position (see FIG. 5 ), its outlet channel 14 is connected to an emptying station 30 associated emptying channel 32. About this discharge channel 32 which is located in the mixing container 1 mixed mix the further process chain supplied. To empty the butterfly valve 15 of the mixing container 1 is opened.
- FIG. 5 the mixing container is shown in a schematic longitudinal section.
- the emptying station 30 has two pressure devices 33, 33.1.
- the printing device 33 will be described.
- the printing device 33.1 is constructed in the same way.
- the pressure device 33 is used to deform a portion of the wall of the mixing container 3, as this in FIG. 5 is shown schematically. Dashed with respect to this wall, the original form is shown.
- the pressure device 33 has a pressure body 34, which is at the free end of the piston 35 a generally designated by the reference numeral 36 piston-cylinder assembly.
- the extension of the piston 35 with its pressure body 34 from the associated cylinder against the outside of the wall formed by the sections 18 and 19 of the mixing container leads to a deformation thereof.
- FIG. 6 shows a further mixing container 1.1 with a container frame 2.1 and a mixing container 3.2.
- the mixing container 1.1 is basically constructed as the mixing container 1 of the preceding figures. From the mixing container 1, the mixing container 1.1 differs in that its mixing container 3.2 is more dimensionally stable.
- the container frame 2.1 has to hold the mixing container 3.2 via an upper flange 9.2, which is supported by means of supports 10.1 on the carriage 11.1. In the illustrated embodiment, three supports 10.1 are provided.
- the supports 10.1 carry a ring iron 25 through which the container 3.2 is supported on the outside in the region of its lowermost cylindrical portion.
- the mixing container 3.2 has the same properties as the mixing containers 3, 3.1 already described above.
- the mixing container 3.2 carries at its lower end a connecting flange 26.

Abstract
