Definitions

  • the invention is directed to a chair with at least one seat and at least one backrest, wherein two or more elongated profiles, preferably each with round outer cross-sections, attached to a supporting part in the region of the seat, which are within the plane of the backrest parallel to each other, however without a direct rigid connection with each other up to about the upper edge of the backrest, and wherein the backrest is divided vertically into several backrest segments, preferably in three or more backrest segments, each having the shape of a strip of horizontal longitudinal extent, each having an inner , supporting, at least partially planar structural element for supporting a thereto or surrounding this padding of a soft material, wherein an inner, at least partially flat structural element for each profile has a continuous recess, the inside of which embraces or encloses the respective profile completely or at least partially.
  • the DE 20 2006 016 346 U1 discloses a backrest of a chair, which is divided into several backrest segments, which are each fixed to two profiles. Alledings there are the inner sides of those profiles encompassing recesses of the individual backrest segments cylindrical and are therefore guided over their entire length of the profiles, so that the alignment of a backrest segment is completely predetermined by the embraced profiles. Although a rigid adjustment of the backrest to the curved course of the spine of a person is provided by the profiles have straight sections which merge into each other by kinks. These kinks are dimensioned so that the course of a spine is modeled. However, such an adaptation is always valid only for persons of a "standardized" size.
  • the DE20 2012 000596 U1 describes another chair, which is similar to that of the invention. From the disadvantages of the prior art described results in the invention initiating problem to educate a generic seating such that as possible all biomechanically relevant movements of the upper body of the backrest of the chair can be individually reconstructed.
  • the solution to this problem is achieved in that between the inside of the recess in the structural element and the encompassed or enclosed by this profile an articulated connection is created, which not only allows rotation of the respective backrest segment about the longitudinal axis of the profile, but at least a tilting the respective backrest segment about an axis direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of a profile, in particular about a connecting line between the two profiles following the longitudinal axis of the respective backrest segment.
  • the respective structural element can tilt about at least one perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of a profile axis direction, preferably about an axis direction transverse to the respective seat direction and / or about an axis direction within the surface of the relevant, at least partially flat structural element, that of the inner structural element Adapted to the profiles guided backrest segment in its orientation of each adjacent back section and nestle this optimally.
  • trigger points also referred to as myogelosis
  • myogelosis can be caused by a sudden overload, but especially by a long-lasting inappropriate stress such as a one-sided sitting position.
  • the elastic deformability of the profiles in conjunction with the mobility of individual backrest segments according to the invention represents a constructive approach to grant a seated person another, sensor motoric degree of freedom, which can be counteracted in the sitting position typical, lack of activity of different muscle groups.
  • the profiles each have a round outer cross-section, so that between the profiles and those completely or partially enclosing recesses a relative rotational mobility is given, so that the backrest segments can change their position in the room if necessary, which especially in torsional movements in the upper body of a seated person is important.
  • the profiles run parallel to each other. Preferably, they are connected to each other neither at the level of the backrest segments nor between them, at least not by a rigid connection, so that they can bend to a certain extent, in particular also in different ways, which is important for the above-described torsional movements of a seated person.
  • the backrest segments can also be veschoben in the vertical direction, for example, be pushed for mounting from the upper end of the profiles here.
  • An articulated connection can be realized, in particular, in that the contact area between the inside of the recess in the structural element and the profile encompassed or enclosed by it is at most annularly closed or at least partially arched or ring-shaped or arch-shaped via an extension parallel to the longitudinal axis of the engaged profile is, which is smaller than the length of the recess, preferably smaller than the outer circumference of the profile, in particular smaller than the diameter of the profile.
  • backrest segments or their inner structural elements are preferably neither bolted to the profiles nor otherwise rigid, so immovably connected, so as not to hinder their relative movements. Nevertheless, care should be taken to ensure that the height of the backrest segments does not automatically change to a greater extent. On the one hand, this can be achieved by spacer elements inserted between adjacent backrest segments, so that the backrest segments are successively supported on one another. Furthermore, it would also be conceivable, for example, to anchor annular support elements on the profiles, for example by means of pressing against the profiles pressing screws to which then can ever support a backrest segment.
  • annular (support) element with a dome-shaped or spherical surface, on which then a complementary, hollow spherical area on the inside of the profile encompassing the recess in the manner of a ball joint movably mounted is.
  • Such a (support) element or a (ball) joint element could be anchored to the relevant profile, for example.
  • a (support) element or a (ball) joint element could be anchored to the relevant profile, for example.
  • the recesses in a Strukturelment for a backrest segment need not have a ring-shaped completely closed inside. It would also be conceivable that the respective recess has a longitudinal slot, so that the mobility is further increased, especially if the Sturkturelement should also be made of an at least limited flexible material such as. Plastic, so that such a slot under certain requirements could widen. As a result, it would be possible, for example, to dimension the inner cross section of such a recess in such a way that, in the force-free state, it is slightly smaller than the outer cross-section of the relevant profile.
  • the profiles may be selectively connected to each other, and / or connected to a supporting element of the chair frame.
  • a supporting element is preferably an element arranged directly on a rotary or chair frame, preferably made of steel or another metal.
  • bond the profiles to the rear edge of the seat this is not recommended because the edge region of the seat generally does not have sufficient stability.
  • bending movements of the backrest would continue in the seat and could cause a sense of insecurity in a seated peson, which can be avoided if there is no direct connection between the profiles of the backrest and the seat according to the invention.
  • the different Lehnensegmente can be equal to each other, but this is not mandatory. On the one hand, they may differ from one another ergonomically, but on the other hand, they may also be aesthetically pleasing. For example, a backrest segment with a lordosis in the lower region of the backrest, one or more backrest segments with armrests, a backrest segment with a headrest, etc. Furthermore, the backrest segments could be in their flexibility and / or Upholstery differ, for example, by serving as a headrest backrest segment could be made softer and cuddly than the others. As an aesthetic face could, for example, variable Widths and / or lengths of individual Lehnensegmente be viewed, different cover materials and / or colors, etc.
  • two or more elongated profiles are attached to a seat supporting the frame, which within the plane of the backrest parallel to each other, but without a direct rigid connection with each other up to about the upper edge of the backrest, wherein the backrest in a vertical direction into several segments is divided, each having the shape of a strip of horizontal longitudinal extent with one of the top of the strip to the underside continuous channel opening for each profile, you get a very flexible arrangement, since the two profiles can move relative to each other, as it the current posture of a seated person requires.
  • the profiles according to the invention can bend in different ways, for example one profile to the front, the other to the rear, so that a backrest segment that does not join together more transverse to the seat direction, but obliquely, according to the connecting line between the bent profiles. Due to the gradually increasing bending along the profiles Lehnensegmente learn at different heights different, in particular from bottom to top gradually increasing inclinations or skew angle. This corresponds to the gradually increasing distortion of the upper body of a person along its spine.
  • the construction of the backrest is even in rough form based on the construction of the human spine, with a backrest segment corresponds to a vertebra together with attaching ribs. Therefore, any rotational movement of the spine of a seated person can be imitated by the approximately parallel to the ribs extending backrest segments. The rotational movement is supported and thus counteracts fatigue while sitting in the back, hip and pelvic area.
  • An inner load-bearing structure in the form of an inner, supporting structural element, in particular in the region of at least one continuous channel opening, ensures that the individual backrest segments remain flexible on the one hand to adapt to the movements of the user but on the other hand also for a sufficiently stable connection of the backrest segments ensure the anchored to the chair frame and from there towering profiles.
  • the person can thus also boldly seated in the seat according to the invention, without the individual segments of the back, for example, unintentionally fold backwards or to the side.
  • At least one supporting structural element is located within the respective Lehnensegementes and on the one hand should be designed so that it supports the resilient properties of the backrest segment, but on the other hand also gives the backrest segment sufficient strength.
  • the supporting structure of the human body is modeled in the region of the backrest, and thereby creates an optimally adapted to the freedom of movement of the human body mechanics.
  • the towering profiles take over the supporting structure of the human spine, as well as their flexibility towards forward or backward movements.
  • the flexibility against torsional movements resulting from the interaction of two or more, approximately parallel to each other running profiles with the connecting backrest segments, as a torsion of the body forht to a lateral rotation of the backrest segments, which is made possible by the separate mobility of the supporting profiles.
  • the backrest segments according to the invention can be associated with the human ribs in such a comparison.
  • the human ribs can also - for example, when lifting and lowering the chest for breathing - tilt to some extent around a horizontal axis. This freedom of movement provides the erfindungsgzeße articulation between the towering profiles and the transverse thereto Lehnensegmenten or their supporting structural elements.
  • the term "flexibility" should be understood only in a figurative sense, because a joint in the usual sense is just not available; There is also no pronounced, for example, on a profile molded tilt or pivot axis, but only a theoretical tilt axis corresponding to a direction about which the backrest segments and their structural elements can tilt.
  • the axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of a profile about which an inner structural element is tiltably guided by the profiles, in turn, at least within a penetrated by the respective profile surface about the profile is pivotable, so that even in the case torsional movements of a person sitting on the chair around the person's spine, the backrest segment guided by the inner structural element on the profiles can be adjusted in its orientation of the respectively adjacent back part and optimally adapted to it.
  • the invention can be further developed such that an inner structural element for fully or at least partially encompassing or enclosing a profile each having a recess whose light cross-section is smaller at at least one point between its upper and lower mouth than in the region of an orifice itself.
  • an inner structural element for fully or at least partially encompassing or enclosing a profile each having a recess whose light cross-section is smaller at at least one point between its upper and lower mouth than in the region of an orifice itself.
  • the invention recommends that the course of the inside of a recess in an inner structural element for completely or at least partially encompassing or enclosing a profile along its longitudinal direction has a point where its clear cross-section is minimal.
  • Such a shape having a narrow cross-section enlarging from a narrowing in a central area in both directions allows a tilting movement about an axis direction in the vicinity of the narrowing.
  • a continuous recess should be equal to or smaller than the cross-section of a profile penetrating the inner structural element, so that the latter is closely embraced by the supporting structural element and thus ensures good guidance of the profiles on the profiles when tilting a backrest segment remains.
  • a tilting axis or a tapered or minimal, clear cross section of a recess in an inner structural element is closer to the mean height level of the respective backrest segment than the top and bottom of the relevant backrest segment.
  • a recess in an inner structural element of a backrest segment can constantly expand from the location of a tilting axis or a tapered or minimal, clear cross section in the direction of an upper and / or lower-side opening of the recess. This corresponds to the fact that with a tilting with increasing distance from the tilting axis, the degree of adjustment always increases and there requires an increased space.
  • Erfoindungsmother is further provided that extends a recess in an inner structural element of a backrest segment from the location of a tilting axis or a tapered or minimal, clear cross-section to an upper and / or lower-side mouth of the recess along a cone or conical surface.
  • the direction of a tilting axis is not predetermined or restricted in the case of a tilting movement, and at the same time an optimal clearance for a tilting movement is created, so that tilting is possible even if the backrest is twisted.
  • the invention is further characterized in that the openings of the two conical or conical surfaces point in different directions, relative to the longitudinal axis of a gripped profile, corresponding to an extension from an inner constriction to the outer mouths.
  • a preferred design rule states that at least one opening angle of a conical or conical surface is equal to or greater than 1 °, preferably equal to or greater than 2 °, in particular equal to or greater than 4 °. Such an angle provides a necessary range for the automatic optimal tilt adjustment movement.
  • At least an opening angle of a conical or conical surface should be equal to or less than 15 °, preferably equal to or less than 10 °, in particular equal to or less than 7 °, because if the tilt angle are too large, this could lead to unsightly misalignments in unused seating individual backrest segments lead.
  • An arrangement according to the invention can be completed by a disc-shaped part for the area-wise, upper-side cover of the uppermost backrest segment, with two recesses or recesses offset laterally from each other for inserting or passing one profile each.
  • At least one spacer element can be inserted between two adjacent backrest segments, which prevents the individual backrest segments from being frictionally pushed up or even over one another and thus losing their movement function. If adjacent, backrest segments according to the invention do not touch directly, results So a maximum mobility. In particular, backrest segments arranged directly one above another can tilt independently of one another in different directions.
  • a spacing element between at least two adjacent backrest segments has at least one skirt or sleeve extending into a recess of an inner structural element, direct contact between the respective mouth of a recess in an inner structural element with the profiled profile can be avoided.
  • the permissible tilt angle can be limited so that u.a. even in the region of maximum constriction within a receiving channel, there is no excessive stretching.
  • a special feature of an apron or sleeve of a spacer element extending into a recess of an inner structural element between at least two adjacent backrest segments is that it is at least partially elastically deformable.
  • the object of such a skirt is to cushion the range of motion for the possibility of tilting a backrest segment gently, so without audible or noticeable striking the recess of a structural element on the profile shell.
  • Two aprons or sleeves which are preferably parallel to one another can be connected to one another via an intermediate web, preferably to a disk-shaped part with two mutually parallel recesses for the passage of one profile each. As a result, the assembly of a seat according to the invention is facilitated.
  • An inventive spacer element arranged between at least two adjacent backrest segments can be given a further function by providing at least one flange abutting the mouth edge of a recess of an inner structural element other, outward extension is provided.
  • a spacer body is fixed to a profile or just plugged, he thus takes over either the support of the immediately auflastenden backrest segment on the embraced profile, or the support of the auflastenden backrest segments on the underlying backrest segment.
  • This is of particular importance because the Lehnensegmente invention are hardly able because of their Kipp Rundkeit to hold on the engaged profiles frictionally and thus support itself to the profile.
  • a spacer body placed directly below a backrest segment engages under the form of the respective backrest segment in a form-fitting manner and can support it with ease.
  • the invention recommends that an abutting the mouth edge of a recess of an inner structural element flange or extension of a spacer between at least two adjacent backrest segments is not elastically deformable. This is guaranteed, for example, with fer material selection of metal.
  • elasticity should be comparatively low; As a lower limit should be considered about the elasticity of hard rubber.
  • this protects a plastic structural element better from local overloads than when using completely inelastic materials as spacers; however, such a flange extends between two backrest segments and is thus exposed to similar loads as the intervertebral discs inserted between two vertebrae. In order to avoid overloads and consequent damage to the spacer bodies, they should be dimensioned rather too hard than too soft.
  • a flange or extension for the passage of a profile may have an annular geometry or a curved geometry with two mutually aligned recesses. Such a double or multiple connected shape has a particularly pronounced stability.
  • the user may be advantageous for the user if at least one means for locking a spacer element between two vertically adjacent backrest segments on the profile (s) is provided in one or more positions.
  • the seated person can vary the height of the spacer body and thus individual backrest segments and adapt to their own ergonomic conditions.
  • several variants have been proven in practice.
  • a spacer body can be provided with a set screw which can be screwed through it and then presses on the engaged profile and can effect a clamping or frictional locking there. This can be done at any position along a profile; Special design measures on a profile are not required.
  • one or more indentations can be attached to at least one profile, in which spring-loaded elements of an adjusting mechanism can engage.
  • a lateral distance should be provided which is equal to or less than half the width of the backrest, preferably equal to or smaller than one third of the width of the backrest, in particular equal to or less than a quarter of the width of the backrest.
  • This distance the stronger becomes the inclination of the backrest segments in an opposite bending of the two profiles.
  • a lateral distance between about 5 cm and 15 cm, preferably between 7 cm and 13 cm.
  • the invention is particularly suitable for backrests, which are each designed for a single person. If two profiles are provided in this case, these preferably extend on both sides of a person using the seat in question, thus taking the spine of the person in their midst; since the spine is in front of the backrest, forms a cross-section through the backbone together with the two profiles a preferably isosceles triangle.
  • At least one profile should preferably have a round cross-section.
  • Round profiles facilitate an inclination of the backrest segments, because these can rotate freely within the continuous channel openings on the round profile in the elastic region of the individual elements and thus can follow the natural movements of the seated person optimally.
  • At least one profile has the shape of a tube, in particular the shape of a tube made of metal.
  • a pipe is not only an ideal compromise between a high stability on the one hand and the lowest possible weight on the other hand. Rather, the reduction of the total cross-section increases the elastic flexibility of a profile and thereby improves the ergonomic function of a seat according to the invention.
  • Tubes made of metal have proved to be particularly suitable, because they are sufficiently flexible with high dimensional stability and low weight. But other materials, possibly also as a solid profile, can be used, for example, plastics, wood, bamboo or composite materials, carbon, etc.
  • a seat according to the invention is facilitated by the fact that the profiles follow a kink-free course, in particular a straight stretched course or within a vertical plane in the seat direction gently curved course, so without kinks or other points of discontinuity.
  • the curvature can be adapted to the course of a spinal column, that is to say a curve curved in the sitting direction within a vertical plane, for example S-shaped or even double S-shaped curve.
  • a curved, ajar to the shape of the spine course offers particularly comfortable comfort, because the back so only supportive, but never disturbing.
  • the novel backrest to the chair frame should have at least one profile in the region of its underside a bend forward or a radially projecting flag or a flat fitting flat iron, which (s) below the seat up to the frame of the chair extends and is attached to that.
  • the uprising part of a profile according to the invention, together with the underside attachment leg is given an approximately L-shaped form.
  • the attachment can be done by welding, gluing, riveting or screwing.
  • - as the invention further provides - two profiles are arranged side by side - seen in the seat direction approximately at the same height - so would two attached thereto each flat iron within a common plane, in each case their two upstanding legs parallel to the plane of the backrest, and the two approximately horizontal legs each parallel to the plane of the seat. It therefore makes sense to connect these two flat bars together and produce as a single part, which allows a common attachment of the backrest segments bearing profiles.
  • only the two lower, approximately horizontally extending legs should be connected to each other, while the upwardly projecting legs should not be connected to each other in order to perform different movements can.
  • the invention goes even further and recommends not to connect the lower legs everywhere, but only in the region of their front and free ends.
  • the interconnected flat iron for example, be cut out of a common metal plate - eg.
  • a laser - the slot between the two legs at its bottom in a concave curve - eg.
  • the (two) upstanding tines continue in the form of each one attached thereto profile.
  • this fork-like anchoring part significantly determines the adjustment and suspension properties of the profiles.
  • a flat iron welded or otherwise fastened to the profile can have a bending edge extending parallel to its flat side but extending transversely to its longitudinal direction, separating two legs from each other - a leg which rises parallel to the backrest or the respective profile Leg extending parallel to the plane of the seat, which extends to an attachment point - at the bottom of the seat - and is anchored there.
  • Such an aligned and installed flat iron has the advantage of a special bendability, combined with a high strength.
  • a flat iron acts simultaneously as a joint and as a return spring, which (s) allows a bending in the seat direction on the one hand, but on the other hand tends to avoid.
  • At least one backrest segment in particular its supporting structural element, has a curvature transverse to its longitudinal direction. It may be a simple curvature, with the ends of the backrest segments are curved slightly forward towards the seat surface.
  • Other courses of the Lehnensegmente are conceivable.
  • Each side of this central, receding area can be followed by a narrow curvature to the front, and from there then a course with a great momentum, initially eta laterally or even slightly backwards, but gradually pointing a little more forward.
  • the backrest can be used as a counterpart for the people of an age group about the same cross-sectional shape of the back shape - so a person feels a side guide and receives a large area, but never unpleasant contact with the backrest.
  • an intimate "gearing" of the backrest with a backrest according to the invention serves as a kind of sensor of the backrest and shares this any rotational movement of a person immediately with, which reacts immediately and understands this.
  • the invention is so versatile that it can find application in almost all seating. It can be used, for example, in office seating furniture, in particular as a (conference) swivel chair with or without castors, but also in the private sector in chairs and armchairs of all kinds.
  • the invention is suitable for chairs with a central base or with three, four, five or more feet, for cantilever chairs or lounge chairs, also for child seat furniture, also in the school area.
  • the load-bearing structural element is upholstered and / or foamed with a soft material.
  • PUR foams are usually used for this purpose, and particular seating comfort is still achieved through the use of what are known as molded foams, as used in mattresses or pillows. These foams adapt to the individual body shape and remain briefly in the embossed form and relax only slowly.
  • Other foams are foams based on PP-E foam, PE, polystyrene, PET or biopolymers.
  • the seating furniture according to the invention in particular the novel backrest, is also suitable for wheelchairs. Especially with a person who is limited such a backrest helps to prevent sitting through even the tiniest of movements.
  • a somewhat similar principle is used in decubitus mattresses, whereby the pressure or load points are constantly varied from the outside.
  • plastic backrest segments may also be used, which may not be upholstered, so that they are suitable for outdoor use. These can optionally be combined with an inner structural element or integrated into a single part.
  • backrest segments are covered with fabric, leather (imitat) or foil.
  • a blank of a cover fabric for a backrest segment or a common blank made of a fabric for several backrest segments can be used.
  • the user can also select individual Lehnsegmente in different configuration (color, type of fabric) and so make his own individual chair.
  • the upholstery should be provided with zippers or hook-and-loop fasteners so that they can be removed from the backer segments for replacement or cleaning.
  • lateral armrests can be arranged on one or more backrest segments.
  • the armrests can begin at a lower segment - for example, at the free ends - and, if necessary, initially upwards, for example, obliquely.
  • Such an arrangement has the advantage that no additional armrests must be mounted in a conventional manner on the seat, which saves labor and costs.
  • the armrests can also start on an upper backrest segment; the farther up they set, the more they will swing with a body rotation of the person concerned. Because the shoulder area of a person pivots so with a rotation of the upper body with and thus also the Arms, so that a lateral displacement of the armrests is quite desired.
  • backrest segments for example, at the top - lateral earrests may be arranged to support the head laterally. These backrest segments may have a shorter side extension than the other, preferably lower backrest segments.

  • the profiles 8 are tubes, in particular metal tubes, because on the one hand these are very stable and can hardly be overloaded, but on the other hand they are nevertheless flexible in bending, ie they can be bent elastically to a certain extent, but they are outward Relief again return to their original, straight stretched or curved shape.
  • backrest segments 10 are fixed one above the other, as Fig. 1 shows.
  • These backrest segments 10 have the shape of horizontal strips and form - one above the other - together the backrest 7.
  • adjacent backrest segments 10 can touch; However, they preferably have a (small) distance, which is preferably smaller than the height of a backrest segment 10. This can, for example, be realized that - as will be explained in more detail - between two backrest segments 10 each one or more preferably annular spacers are located.
  • Each backrest segment 10 preferably consists of a comparatively stiff, supporting part 16 and of a soft padding 17 supported thereon.
  • the supporting part 16 can be produced, for example, as a plastic injection-molded part; it may, for example, have a flat, approximately parallel to the backrest 7 shape; it is preferably provided with stiffening ribs 19 and / or with stiffening ribs 19, 20 intersecting each other for its mechanical stabilization on its rear side 18. His front 21 could also be provided with ribs, but this could affect the comfort, so it is preferably omitted.
  • the supporting part 16 should be single-layered, that is to say not consist of several, separate or even spaced-apart parts or layers.
  • the height extent of a supporting part 16 is greater than its thickness measured in the seat direction. If the upper and lower edges of a supporting part 16 substantially parallel to each other, or at an approximately equal vertical distance, the distance between two such adjacent backrest segments 10 is also approximately constant.
  • the supporting parts 16 may be rounded at their corners, that is, where the lateral end faces meet the upper and / or lower edge of the relevant part 16, for example with a bending radius of 10 mm or more, preferably with a Bending radius of 15 mm or more, in particular with a bending radius of 20 mm or more.
  • the optionally intersecting stiffening ribs 19, 20 have in addition to the mechanical stabilization a second function, namely the fixation of the padding 17.
  • the padding 17 can, for example, be done by a foam, which is subsequently foamed around the supporting member 16 around and thus the chambers or fan 22 fills between the stiffening ribs 19, 20 and thereby intimately and thereby also largely immovable with the supporting part 16 connects. It is conceivable, inter alia, the use of polyurethane foam od. Like.
  • the individual backrest segments 10 receive their outer shape, which preferably corresponds approximately to a rectangular blank or the shape of a flat cuboid with rounded edges and / or corners.
  • the supporting parts 16 of several or all backrest segments 10 are identical.
  • the respective backrest segments 10 by an identical padding 10 each have the same shapes;
  • they can be aesthetic Design features such as in particular different colors differ from each other.
  • the identical backrest segments 10 may be interchanged, for example to alter the aesthetics, while the function and / or the mutual distances between adjacent backrest segments 10 remain constant and unchanged. This is particularly possible because the backrest segments 10 are displaceable along the profiles 8, so that they can be removed if necessary and, for example cleaned and / or put back in a reversed order.
  • these approximately rectangular or approximately cuboidal backrest segments 10 also have no ideal flat shape, ie with straight horizontal edges, but follow in the horizontal direction a slightly curved course, for example. Similar to the gently arched bow of a uniformly curved hanger, where the ends 11 of the backrest segments 10 slightly towards the front, ie towards the front edge 12 of the seat 7, are curved. This results, in particular, from a corresponding, preferably slightly angled course of the flat main body or body 23 of a supporting structural part 16.
  • the individual backrest segments 10 each encompass both profiles 8 and are aligned with their central region in each case parallel to the local connecting line between the two profiles 8, that is to say the connecting line at the level of the respective backrest segment 10. They are thereby aligned at least approximately parallel to one another, apart from mutual torsions, if the profiles 8 bend in opposite directions, so for example. Once forward and once back. Therefore, it is possible to cover all backrest segments 10 with a common coating of a cover fabric, so that in the neutral position is barely recognizable that the backrest 7 is divided into segments. This is particularly suitable for textile material made of natural and / or synthetic fibers. This reference may, for example, a the shape of a pillowcase have with one or more zippers, snaps od. Like.
  • each backrest segment 10 At its bottom and / or along its peripheral edge. When opened, the cover can be removed, for example for washing. On the other hand, it is also possible to obtain each backrest segment 10 with its own coating. In the latter case, the color of the cover could vary for different backrest segments 10, but could equally well be identical; this is just an aesthetic measure.
  • each supporting structural elements 16 of the individual backrest segments 10 surround the profiles 8 in each case completely, ie are each provided with a plurality of the number of profiles 8 corresponding apertures 13, which each structural element 16 from the top 24 to the bottom 25th consistently enforce.
  • the perforations 13 also occur several times.
  • no aperture 13 is located on the vertical (central) axis of symmetry of a supporting element 16. It is more desirable to provide the apertures 13 in pairs, with two apertures 13 being arranged in mirror image with respect to the vertical axis of symmetry of the respective supporting element 16.
  • While the upper and lower edges of a supporting element 16 between the openings 13 should preferably be horizontal, they can each extend from the respective outermost openings 13 to the outside in each case rising.
  • a Relativver in each TorsionsSullivan the backrest 7 can each optimally adapt to the back of a seated person.
  • the invention provides that the profiles 8 encompassing recesses 13 of the supporting structural elements 16 have a special shape, in particular from the FIGS. 6 to 8 is apparent.
  • the recesses 13 in turn are arranged approximately tubular or sleeve-shaped projections 26 on the rear side 18 of the planar body 23 of a structural element 16.
  • These lugs 26 extend in the vertical direction, ie transversely to the longitudinal direction of the particular structural element 16. Since, on the one hand, they have a high intrinsic stability owing to their tubular or sleeve-shaped geometry and, on the other hand, they are able to stiffen the planar body 23 further Starting points or intersections are used for or with horizontal stiffening ribs 19.
  • FIGS. 6 and 7 from which the outer shape of the tubular or sleeve-shaped projections 26 results, with the Fig. 8 where above all the inner shape of the recesses 13 in the lugs 26 can be seen that the outer shape of the lugs 26 preferably follows the course of the inner wall of the recess 13, ie, that the lugs 26 have an approximately constant wall thickness.
  • This shape approximately the same inside and outside - is divided into an upper section 27 and a lower section 28.
  • Both sections 27, 28 can be described as lateral surfaces of truncated cones, so each have an end of reduced cross-section and an end with contrast expanded cross-section.
  • the two conical sections 27, 28 are each placed against one another with their cross-sectionally tapered ends and diverge therefrom with increasing distance from the junction point 29 in the radial direction.
  • the aperture angles of both frusto-conical sections 27, 28 may be approximately equal and may, for example, be in a range between 1 ° and 20 °, for example in a range of 2 ° to 15 °, preferably in a range of 3 ° to 10 ° ° or from 4 ° to 8 °.
  • the two frusto-conical sections 27, 28 meet approximately halfway up the structural element 16 and thereby reach approximately equal diameters in the area of the upper and lower sides 24, 25.
  • the spacer bodies 30 can be composed of at least two parts, at least one sleeve-shaped body 31 which tightly encloses the relevant profile 8 and a flange-like body 32 which surrounds it at least partially on the outside.
  • sleeve-shaped body 31 may be formed into a single part 33, which may for example have a slightly dumbbell-shaped.
  • This part 33 or the individual parts 31 are designed such that they can protrude at least partially into the intermediate space between an opening of the recess 13 and the profile 8 received therein.
  • these parts 31, 33 are made of an elastic material, they can avoid or at least damp a striking between the structural elements 16 and the profiles 8.
  • the flange-like parts 32 In contrast, it is up to the flange-like parts 32 to keep the structural elements 16 in the vertical direction at a distance.
  • they can be made of a rather hard material such as metal or hard rubber. They protrude further outward than the sleeve-shaped or dumbbell-shaped parts 31, 33 and therefore can not penetrate into the intermediate space between the profile 8 and the recess 13, but support the undersides of the tubular or sleeve-shaped projections 26 against each other.
  • Friction be provided or even a form-fitting interlocking locking.
  • radial projections or preferably depressions may be provided in one, two or all profiles 8, for example indentations, bores or other apertures, whereupon a spacer body 30 which is adjustable approximately radially relative to the respective profile longitudinal axis can be supported.
  • It may also be a latching mechanism with a spring, which are pressed radially inward to the relevant profile longitudinal axis out and, if necessary, by means of an element for manual actuation, if necessary from a well-marked notch or other recess can be dug again, for example to adjust the respective backrest segment 10 along the profiles 8.
  • the invention further provides that such a radially movable part on a spacer body 16 between two supporting parts 16 of adjacent backrest segments 10 is approximately within the plane of the respective backrest segment 10 or the body 23 of the supporting body 16 is adjustable, preferably approximately horizontally.
  • a locking mechanism does not appear conspicuous, but can be fully integrated within the respective backrest segment 10.
  • the manual actuator for lifting such a locking member could, for example.
  • 10 additional devices can be provided on one or more backrest segments, for example.
