Definitions

  • the invention relates to a shuttle embroidery machine according to the preamble of claims 1 and 12.
  • Shuttle embroidery machines have been known for more than a century and work according to the two-thread system, that is with a needle thread and a shuttle thread, wherein the needle thread is devoured with the shuttle thread with each stitch.
  • An eyelet-fronted needle transports the needle thread through the fabric to the back of the fabric where the needle thread forms a loop as the needle retracts. Through this loop then the boat, in which the shuttle thread is included, passed through.
  • Shuttle embroidery machines comprise a large number of embroidering points arranged in a row and correspondingly many needles and shuttles. Up and down movement of the shuttle on a vertical, slightly inclined position is a driver bar.
  • Such a shuttle embroidery machine is known with a driver bar oscillated by a crank drive.
  • the Driver bar which extends over the entire length of the machine is conveyed with two each needle associated driver nails the shuttle through the previously formed needle thread loop and back. With the crank drive of the driver bar 600 and more stitches per minute can be generated.
  • the bearing bore and the axis on the connecting rod which allows a back-and-forth sliding of the driver bar on its obliquely to the vertical path running, claimed to the limits.
  • the DE8436780U1 can shuttle in a middle position by means of an intermediate gear using a Coupling rod, by means of which a driven by a reciprocating oscillating shaft drive rail are stopped.
  • the guided by means of a sliding block in a backdrop of the oscillating shaft drive end of the coupling rod is transferred from an eccentric position in a coincident with the axis of the oscillating shaft position, whereby it is possible that, despite the continuous movement of the oscillating shaft of the adjusting drive for the driver bar is held motionless ,
  • This special version is only required if not only embroideries are carried out on a shuttle embroidery machine, but also drilling material is produced by introducing holes into the embroidery base.
  • a drive of the driver bar is disclosed, with which the sliding movement between the connecting rod and the driver bar should be avoided. It is doing the connecting rod equipped with flexible elements at both ends, so that the lateral movements are not to be absorbed by a sliding on a shaft on the driver bar, but by an elastic deformation of the connecting rod. Probably no sliding movement takes place in this prior art, but the bending forces caused by the spring elements on the connecting rod, must be overcome twice at each stroke. This is only possible with a higher drive power of the linear actuator. Furthermore, elastic machine elements tend with stroke rates of more than 600 per Minute to generate additional vibrations of the driver bar to the existing vibrations in a shuttle embroidery machine.
  • An object of the present invention is to provide a shuttle embroidery machine, the drive means for the driver bar an increase in the number of stitches per minute on the previously achievable stitch counts per minute and in which the wear of the drive means compared to the previously known drive means is substantially reduced. Another object is to reduce the noise of the drive for the driver bar despite higher stitch count, along with a reduction of the vibrations generated. Another object of the invention is sliding movements in the drive means and on To eliminate driver bar and replace the linear guide means with suitable elements. Another object of the invention is to further develop the shuttle embroidery machine or one and the same drive for the driver bar so that it can be used both for embroidery machines with Schiffchenbahnen, which are arranged not only counterclockwise inclined to the vertical, but also those in the clockwise direction stand inclined to the vertical.
  • crank mechanism With the crank mechanism according to the invention not only a higher number of stitches can be achieved, but for the inclined to the vertical displacement of the driver bar no linear guide means in the form of guide rods or guide rails longer necessary.
  • the linear movement of the driver bar is generated by a suitably designed four-bar linkage, which is driven by a crank drive.
  • the sliding movements are replaced by rotational movements, which are known to cause lower noise and with which also much lower at the reversal points of the oblique current displacement of the driver bar Acceleration and deceleration forces are generated.
  • the bearings are much less burdened and avoided sliding of the rolling elements in the bearing tracks.
  • Another advantage of the invention is that without replacement of machine elements, the drive of Schiffchenbahnen with a respect to the vertical mirror image arranged angle is usable.
  • FIG. 1 illustrated prior art corresponds to the EP 1 595 990 and their elements and functioning are in the text too FIG. 4 of the EP 1 595 990 described in detail.
  • the drive for a driver bar the latter is slidably mounted on guide rods inclined on inclined to the vertical guides.
  • the angle of inclination to the vertical is preferably 15 °.
  • the lifting drive for the driver bar with the crank mechanism of crank and connecting rod takes place in exactly vertical direction.
  • a horizontally extending shaft is arranged on this, on which the drive rod / the connecting rod is mounted transversely to the drive direction, so that the driver bar in this storage relative to the connecting rod laterally displaceable is.
  • crank arm may be part of a rocker or mounted directly on a continuous king shaft.
  • CH 703 090 is a possible solution for the removal of the wear revealed ( FIG. 2 ). This avoids the sliding movement at the connecting rod end, but by the spring-loaded connecting rod twice bending forces must be overcome at each stroke to bend the spring elements from its rest position. As a result, the inclined guides on which the driver bar is mounted, in addition to the high frictional forces and even more exposed to wear.
  • the first joint 9 So represents a special design of a universal joint, which allows the connecting rod 7 is mounted perpendicular to the longitudinal extent of the driver bar 15 pivotally to accommodate the horizontal displacement of the driver bar 15 relative to the connecting rod 7 can. In addition, the not inconsiderable exchange costs can be optimally transferred in this way.
  • the driver bar 15 is in FIG. 4 indicated in dotted lines only. In the other figures, it is the sake of clarity, each omitted entirely and reproduced the guide and drive device 1 in isolation.
  • the upper end 7 "of the connecting rod 7 is also pivotally mounted in a second universal joint 17, which is similar to the lower first joint 9 via a connecting rod 13.
  • the second joint 17 is pivotable on a bearing pin 19.
  • the bearing pin 19 is part a fastening element 21, which establishes the connection to the driver bar 15 and is screwed thereto, for example.
  • a bearing receptacle 23 is further formed, to which a first rocker 25 is hinged pivotably and at right angles to the bearing pin 19.
  • a third rocker 33 is pivoted on the one hand on an axis A and on the other hand also on an axis C.
  • the axis C or a shaft arranged thereon is fixed by a base plate 28 with a carrier 27 or 27 attached to the machine frame of the shuttle embroidery machine directly connected to the shuttle embroidery machine.
  • the second end of the first rocker 25 is pivotally connected via a pivot pin 29 with an axis E to the first end of a second rocker 31.
  • the second end of the second rocker 31 is pivotally mounted about an axis B.
  • the axis B is fixedly arranged on the base plate 28.
  • the three rockers 25, 31 and 33 thus form a four-bar linkage with the two fixed axes B and C on the base plate 28 and the two axes A and E movable on circular arcs with different radii on the first rocker 25.
  • FIG. 7 the upper end position of the driver bar 15 is shown.
  • the pivot pin 29 (axis E) opposite end of the first rocker 25 is pivotally mounted on the bearing mount 23 on the fastener 21 on the driver bar 15 and pivotable about the pivot axis D arranged there.
  • the three rockers 25, 31 and 33 and the pivot points of the axis B and C on the carrier 27 are shown.
  • the fastening element 21, on which the connecting rod 7 (connecting rod 7 is shown schematically) engages, is not shown in detail, but it is only indicated by the arrows P as the course of movement of the Fastener 21 and consequently of the support beam 15 extends.
  • the driver bar 15, to which the fastener 1 is attached, is also omitted for the sake of clarity. The operation of the guiding and driving devices 1 for the driver bar 15 will be explained below. At the driver bar 15 engage at least two guiding and driving devices 1 and carry and run this on a inclined to the vertical path.
  • the driver bar 15 With the oscillating vertical movement of the connecting rod 7, which is articulated via the fastening element 21 with the driver bar 15, the driver bar 15 is moved on the one hand in the direction of the arrow P upwards and downwards. Since the fastener 21 and consequently also the driver bar 15 are pivotally connected via the axis D with the first lever 25, the drive movement with the connecting rod 7 is not in the vertical, but the driver bar 15 is from the first rocker 25, which also on the second and third rocker 31,33 is articulated, additionally moved in the horizontal direction H.
  • the vertical movement P between the upper and lower reversal point of the connecting rod 7 thus simultaneously a displacement, that is, a vertical movement and at the same time a horizontal movement by the amount H of the driver bar 15.
  • the lateral displacement H of the driver bar 15 between the lower and the upper reversal point of the connecting rod 7 causes the driver bar 15 on a moves approximately straight line, which lies to the vertical at an angle a, for example 15 °.
  • the driver bar 15 thus moves, since it is supported by a plurality of juxtaposed along the driver bar 15 drive and guide devices 1 without fixedly arranged linear guide means, for. B. rails, as in the prior art according to the Figures 1 and 2 are absolutely necessary, guided on the desired acute angle to the vertical and approximately rectilinear path.
  • the drive device 1 thus assumes not only the lifting movement P of the driver bar 15, but at the same time and without the aid of linear guide means and the horizontal movement H of the driver bar 15. It thus eliminates two guided linear movements according to each stroke and stitch of the embroidery machine FIG. 1 and the linear guide taking place at an acute angle to the vertical FIG. 2 and there the vibration-relevant bends of the connecting rod 7.
  • the latter can also be used for driving drive bar 15 in shuttle embroidery machines, which have Schiffchenbahnen having an inclination to the vertical, which extend in the opposite direction - ⁇ from the vertical.
  • the third rocker 33 By simply pivoting the third rocker 33 in the counterclockwise direction and thus also pivoting the second rocker 31 in Clockwise from the in FIG. 8 shown in solid lines in the position shown with broken lines, this conversion can be easily made.
  • the drive device thus operates with exactly the same machine elements in both pivoting directions and allows the manufacturer to offer his device for both types of boat guidance without additional replacement elements and thus without additional costs and storage.
