- It is known to use as a heat exchanger in submarines such in tube bundle construction and in slab construction.
- In view of the limited space available in a submarine tube heat exchangers have the disadvantage that they are relatively large construction.
- plate heat exchangers when the submarine dives, it requires high sea level pressure to weld the plates of the plate heat exchanger together. This complicates the maintenance and mechanical cleaning of the plate heat exchanger, which also make it difficult for tube bundle heat exchangers.
- the EP 2 015 017 A shows a heat exchanger having a 3-chamber structure.
- the three chambers are arranged within a housing.
- the middle chamber is used for heat exchange and in it are arranged in the longitudinal direction parallel to each other aligned tubes.
- the pipes serve for the flow of a first liquid.
- Each of these tubes forms four each arranged at a right angle to each other tabs.
- the end sections of the tubes are designed without the tabs.
- the tubes are arranged to each other such that the tabs of adjacent tubes are assembled and thereby each flow channels for a second liquid are formed.
- the tubes are inserted in their end regions in each case by drilling in support plates and held over it. By the carrier plates, two outer chambers are formed starting from the middle chamber, in which the first liquid is added or discharged.
- the tubes are designed as round tubes.
- the present invention seeks to provide a heat exchanger for heat exchange of a fluid with seawater for a submarine, which is compact and allows in the invention a simple maintenance and
- the heat exchanger according to the invention for heat exchange of a fluid with seawater for a submarine has a housing in which a plurality of tubes is arranged. These tubes are provided to flow through with a liquid cooling medium and this fluidly connected at one end with a liquid inlet and at the other end with a liquid outlet.

- the liquid inlet for connection of the heat exchanger may be provided to a submarine-side seawater pipe, which opens at the outside of the pressure hull of the submarine.
- the liquid outlet is in this case usefully connected to a second submarine-side seawater pipe, through which the seawater is discharged again from the submarine.
- the heat exchanger is typically designed to be resistant to tampering, that is to say the components of the heat exchanger according to the invention, which are pressurized by the seawater, are expediently dimensioned and configured such that they withstand the external pressure acting on the submarine during dive travel. Moreover, when seawater is used as the cooling medium, these components are typically formed of a seawater resistant material.
- the basic idea of the invention is to arrange the pipes, which are provided for the throughflow with the cooling medium and expediently straight, in such a way that adjacent pipes form closed throughflow channels for the fluid to be cooled. Accordingly, in each case at least three directly juxtaposed tubes are arranged so that each of these tubes its two adjacent tubes contacted over its entire length, so that between these at least three tubes, a flow channel is formed in a plane transverse to the longitudinal formation of the tubes completely from the Tube walls of these tubes, which form the heat exchange surfaces of the heat exchanger according to the invention, is jacketed.
- the flow channels formed between the tubes are fluid-conductively connected at one end to a fluid inlet and at the other end to a fluid outlet of the heat exchanger.
- the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet in such a way that the throughflow in the flow-through channels coincides with the flow-through direction in the tubes, or the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet can be arranged such that the flow-through channels are flowed through in countercurrent to the tubes, ie Flow direction in the flow channels opposite to the flow direction in the tubes.
- the heat exchanger according to the invention Due to the high arrangement density of the tubes in the plane transverse to their longitudinal extent, the heat exchanger according to the invention has a slim, compact construction, which is particularly advantageous when using the heat exchanger in a submarine.
- results from the arrangement of the tubes a very large heat exchange surface based on the guided through the flow channels to be cooled fluid flow and, accordingly, a relatively high efficiency of the heat exchanger according to the invention.
- the tubes are designed as square tubes with a preferably square outer cross-section.
- the tubes are connected to each other at their longitudinal edges, so that in plan view of the plane transverse to the longitudinal extent of the tubes results in an arrangement in which the tubes and the interposed fürströmkanäle, which then also have a square cross-section, checkerboard, ie in kind a checkerboard pattern, take turns.
- the tubes are preferably arranged in a housing with a square cross-section.
- the tubes are advantageously detachably connected to one another.
- a connection of adjacent pipes is advantageously provided by means of plug connections.
- the tubes can advantageously have recesses in which engages a trained on another pipe projection to form a positive cohesion of these two tubes.
- the square tubes each have a recess at two opposite longitudinal edges and at the other two longitudinal edges each have a projection corresponding to the recesses.
- a groove preferably extending over the entire length of the edge is formed on two longitudinal edges of the square tubes and on the other two longitudinal edges of the square tubes a preferably over the entire length of the edge extending, outwardly projecting projection is formed.
- a square tube is arranged so that one of the projections formed on it engages in a recess of another square tube.
- the tubes each have at their two ends a receptacle for a pipe extension.
- the pipe extensions are detachable, z. B. connected by means of connectors with the pipes.
- the receptacles may expediently be formed by extensions of the flow channel running through the tube at the two ends of the tube, into each of which a tube piece can be inserted as a raw extension.
- the pipe extensions serve to connect the pipes to the liquid inlet and to the liquid outlet of the heat exchanger.
- the tube extensions are designed such that adjacent tube extensions in the housing parts adjoining the housing of the heat exchanger do not form closed throughflow channels for the fluid to be cooled, so that the tube extensions in the housing parts are freely flooded by the fluid to be cooled.
- an outlet for the fluid is preferably formed on one of the housing parts in a region between the housing and the tube bottom formed thereon.
- the heat exchanger according to the invention is particularly suitable for use in a submarine and in particular for use in a central cooling circuit for cooling heat-generating devices in a submarine.
- the invention also relates to a submarine, which has a central fresh water flowing through as a cooling medium cooling circuit, wherein the cooling circuit has at least one heat exchanger having the features described above.
- a heat exchanger is arranged, in which the fresh water circulating through the cooling circuit is passed through the formed between the tubes flow channels of the heat exchanger, where it flows from the tubes of the heat exchanger flowing through the cooling medium, which is preferably seawater is traded, cooled.
- the in the Figures 1 and 2 illustrated heat exchanger has a housing 2.

Description

Fig. 1 .
Fig. 5 ).
Fig. 5 und 6 ).
