Description

Technisches GebietTechnical area

The invention relates to a lamp body according to the preamble of patent claim 1 and a method for producing a lamp body.

Stand der TechnikState of the art

From the prior art lamp body are known, which are made of an extruded profile, since extrusion processes are particularly cost-effective and particularly suitable for the production of lights with a large longitudinal extent, such as office lighting. These extruded profiles are usually covered on the conditionally open sides by the manufacturing process with end caps.

For example, shows the European patent application EP 2 123 976 A1 a housing of a lamp made of an extruded body, whose ends are each provided with end walls.

The fact that these end caps are placed as separate elements on the ends of the injection molding, air gaps or joints between the end caps and the injection molding profile are present, from which unintentionally light can escape, which interferes with the visual impression of such a lamp.

Darstellung der ErfindungPresentation of the invention

The object of the present invention is therefore to provide a lamp body which can be produced in a cost-effective manner and does not have the optical impression reducing joints, as well as to provide a cost-effective method for producing such a lamp body.

This object is achieved by a lamp body having the features of patent claim 1 and a method having the features of patent claim 10.

Particularly advantageous embodiments can be found in the dependent claims.

The luminaire body according to the invention comprises an extruded profile element with a first longitudinal extension in a longitudinal direction, wherein the extruded profile element has a light exit element with at least one light exit opening arranged therein. The light exit element thereby limits the luminaire body at least partially in a light exit direction. The extruded profile element comprises two longitudinal side elements arranged opposite one another at least partially along the longitudinal extension direction and arranged opposite the light exit direction on the light exit element, with a second longitudinal extent in the longitudinal direction of extension. These longitudinal side elements delimit the luminaire body along the longitudinal extension direction at least partially laterally, wherein the extruded profile element has at least one open extruded profile end which delimits the extruded profile element in its first longitudinal extent. Furthermore, the luminaire body comprises at least one end cap, which can be arranged on the at least one open extruded profile end of the extruded profile element. The longitudinal side elements each have at least one longitudinal side element end which delimits the respective longitudinal side element in its second longitudinal extent, the longitudinal side elements being arranged on the light exit element such that the longitudinal side element ends each have a spacing from the extruded profile end so that the end cap can be arranged in contact with the longitudinal side element ends and the light exit element is.

Thus, it is possible in a very advantageous manner that parting lines, in particular between the end cap and the extruded profile element, are not in the field of view of a user, which is usually provided in direct light through the light exit element in the light exit direction of a lamp body. This also has the advantage that the lamp body can be manufactured very easily and inexpensively as extruded profile by extrusion and to cover the open extruded profile ends separate end caps can be used without having to take optically disturbing joints in purchasing. Because of the inventive design of the extruded profile element and thereby provided arrangement possibility of the end cap, it is only possible that the contact areas between the end cap and the extruded profile element are not in the field of view of a user. The underside of the lamp body is thus formed solely by the light exit element of the extruded profile element. In this case, in particular the light exit element in the light exit direction is referred to as the underside, without being understood thereby is to be that the light exit element must be arranged "down". The light fixture can not only be used for ceiling lights, but can for example be arranged on a wall or in another positioning, so that the bottom of the lamp body is not necessarily down in a spatial arrangement. The end cap, in particular the underside thereof, can therefore be arranged at the open ends of the extruded profile element such that it is located above the light outlet element, and thus no air gap or parting line from which unwanted light can escape from below can be seen from below. Thus, the visible lower outer surface of the lamp body can be realized as a continuous unit.

The light exit opening of the light exit element of the extruded profile element can be introduced, for example, by a milling process in the light exit element. In this processing step, the ends of the extruded profile element can be edited so that the end caps are not visible on the lower viewing surface. Thus, the production of such a lamp body is very inexpensive and easy and it is at the same time a jointless lower outer surface provided by the lamp body according to the invention.

In one embodiment of the invention, the extruded profile end and at least part of the end cap arranged at the open extruded end end form an end face of the luminaire body. Processing marks, such as milling edges on the extruded profile end, if present, can be laminated by a coating, in particular powder. So it can be made possible that at the light exit side no joints are present, which reduce the visual impression, and that at the same time provides the front side of the lamp body, if it is in a field of view of a user, a closed and uniform appearance.
In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the respective distance of the longitudinal side element ends to the extruded profile end is at least as large as a thickness of the end cap in a respective contact region in which the end cap is contactable with the respective longitudinal side element ends, wherein the thickness of the end cap is a dimension in the longitudinal direction of the extruded profile element when placing the end cap on the at least one open extruded profile end. Thus, it can be accomplished in a particularly advantageous manner that not only no joints are visible from below, but also no protruding parts of the end caps.

In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the extruded profile element and the at least one end cap are designed such that the end cap can be arranged in a form-fitting manner on the at least one open extruded profile end, which allows a particularly uniform appearance of the luminaire body.

Furthermore, the at least one end cap can have at least one coupling element by means of which the end cap can be fastened to the extruded profile element. This coupling element can be designed so that it can be pressed into the extruded profile element. For this purpose, a plurality of coupling elements may be provided, so that they are arranged on the end cap, that this example, when placing the end cap on an open Extruded profile against the inner surfaces of the longitudinal side elements are pressed, so that the attachment is accomplished by the frictional press connection. By such a press connection also possible joints between the end cap and the extruded element are further reduced. The end cap and / or only the coupling elements may be, for example, from an at least partially elastic material. Alternatively or additionally, however, a design of the coupling elements as a screw connection, in particular between the end cap and the top of the extruded profile element or the top of the light exit element of the extruded profile element conceivable. These screw connections are not visible from below and thus do not reduce the appearance of the lamp body or the lamp.

In a further embodiment of the invention, LEDs are arranged on the light exit element of the extruded profile element in the region of the opening of the light exit element such that light can be emitted by the LEDs in the direction of the light exit direction. Especially the use of LEDs as bulbs allows a particularly flat and compact design of such a lamp or lamp body.

In addition, the extruded profile element may comprise guide rails which are arranged opposite to the light exit direction in the longitudinal direction of extension and on the light exit element. These guide rails may be formed, for example, for receiving LED printed circuit boards, which is a very simple and advantageous way to arrange LEDs on the lamp body. Furthermore, the guide rails can also be used for pressing the coupling elements of the end cap with the extruded profile element.

Furthermore, the end cap can also have at least one guide element, by means of which a printed circuit board inserted between two guide rails of the extruded profile element can be at least partially covered. Since printed circuit boards inserted in the guide rails, in particular LED circuit boards for indirect illumination, can also have components that differ from the LEDs, such as a plug, the guide element can very advantageously provide a cover for such elements which should not be visible or also for protection, such as from pollution. In addition, the guide elements can also serve the positioning of the circuit boards.

In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, at least one printed circuit board with LEDs arranged thereon is inserted between two guide rails, the LEDs being arranged on the printed circuit board such that light can be emitted from the LEDs in a direction opposite to the light exit direction. Thus, a particularly simple arrangement of LEDs on the extruded profile element is made possible here as well, wherein indirect illumination is provided by the arrangement of the LEDs opposite to the light exit direction in a very advantageous manner.

In addition, the wiring for supplying the LEDs can run in a particularly space-saving manner under the end caps.

  • Strangpressen eines Strangprofilelements mit einer ersten Längserstreckung in einer Längserstreckungsrichtung, mit einem Lichtaustrittselement und mit zwei zumindest teilweise entlang der Längserstreckungsrichtung sich gegenüberliegend und entgegen einer Lichtaustrittsrichtung am Lichtaustrittselement angeordnete Längsseitenelemente mit der ersten Längserstreckung in der Längserstreckungsrichtung, wobei das Lichtaustrittselement den Leuchtenkörper zumindest teilweise in der Lichtaustrittsrichtung begrenzt, wobei die Längsseitenelemente den Leuchtenkörper entlang der Längserstreckungsrichtung zumindest teilweise seitlich begrenzen;
  • Entfernen mindestens eines Teils des Lichtaustrittselements des Strangprofilelements, so dass mindestens eine Öffnung im Lichtaustrittselement entsteht;
  • Entfernen eines Teils der Längsseitenelemente an mindestens einem offenen Strangprofilende, so dass diese jeweils eine zweite Längserstreckung aufweisen, welche durch jeweils ein Längsseitenelementende begrenzt ist, und so dass die Längsseitenelementenden jeweils einen Abstand zum Strangprofilende aufweisen;
The method according to the invention for producing a luminaire body comprises the steps:
  • Extruding an extruded profile element having a first longitudinal extent in a longitudinal extension direction, with a light exit element and with two longitudinal side elements at least partially along the longitudinal extension direction and opposite to a light exit direction on the light exit element with the first longitudinal extent in the longitudinal extension direction, the light exit element at least partially in the light exit direction limited, wherein the longitudinal side elements at least partially laterally delimit the lamp body along the longitudinal direction;
  • Removing at least a portion of the light exit element of the extruded profile element, so that at least one opening in the light exit element is formed;
  • Removing a part of the longitudinal side elements at at least one open extruded profile end, so that they each have a second longitudinal extension, which is delimited by a respective longitudinal side element end, and so that the longitudinal side element ends each have a distance from the extruded profile end;
  • Arranging an end cap on the open extruded profile end such that it contacts the light exit element and the longitudinal side element ends.

The removal of a part of the light exit surface and a part of the longitudinal side elements is preferably carried out by means of milling.

In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the method comprises the further step before arranging the end cap:
  • - Removing a portion of the light exit element at the extruded profile end according to a predetermined shaping of a contour of the extruded profile end.

The extruded profile ends can also be machined by means of milling or otherwise, for example, the corners of the light exit element at the extruded profile end can be rounded or the light exit element can be varied in shape in a different way. Furthermore, the extruded profile element can subsequently be coated or powder coated in such a way, in particular on the removal of parts or following the milling processes, that the machining tracks are concealed.

In addition, all embodiments, features and advantages mentioned for the luminaire body according to the invention apply in the same way, as far as applicable, also for the method according to the invention.

Bevorzugte Ausführung der ErfindungPreferred embodiment of the invention

Fig. 4a) gemäß einem Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung. Fig. 1a shows a schematic and perspective bottom view of an extruded profile element 12 of a lamp body 10 (see. Fig. 4a ) according to an embodiment of the invention. The extruded profile element 12 has a light exit element 14 with a light exit opening 16. In addition, 12 longitudinal side members 18 are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the extruded profile element, which limit the lamp body 10 laterally. The extruded profile element 12 can be made of aluminum. Aluminum has a good thermal conductivity, high stability, even at low height of the lamp body 10, and is also still relatively inexpensive. The extruded profile element 12 can be manufactured by means of extrusion processes. The recess for the light exit opening 16 can then be introduced by a milling process. This will be a seamless Base body for the lamp body 10 is provided.

Fig. 3a) einer Endkappe aufzunehmen oder auch LED-Leiterplatten. Fig. 1b shows a schematic profile representation of an extruded profile element 12 of a lamp body 10 according to an embodiment of the invention. Here, too, the extruded profile element 12 comprises a light exit element 14 and longitudinal side elements 18. The longitudinal side elements 18 could also be angled in cross section, as shown here, and thus form part of a cover element of the luminaire body 10. In addition, the extruded profile element 12 also comprises a plurality of guide rails 20. These can be designed to guide elements 30 (cf. Fig. 3a ) an end cap or LED PCBs. Furthermore, the extruded profile element 12 may also be formed with a cover element 22. This can be arranged at a distance from the light exit element 14 in order, for example, to arrange LEDs therebetween in the region of the light exit opening 16 of the light exit element 14. The cover element 22 may in this case be closed, that is to say be in contact or integrally formed with the longitudinal side elements 18, or also, as shown here, extend over the cross section of the extruded profile element 12 only in certain regions. This only partial embodiment of the cover element 22 has the advantage that LEDs radiating upwards can also be arranged on the light exit element 14, in particular opposite to the light emission direction of the LEDs arranged in the region of the light exit opening 16, in order to allow indirect illumination.

Fig. 1c shows a schematic and perspective plan view of an extruded profile element 12 of a lamp body 10 according to an embodiment of the invention. The extruded profile element 12 is as to Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 already described. In this illustration, it can now be clearly seen that the longitudinal side element ends 18a are at a distance from the extruded profile end 12a. The same naturally also applies to all other elements arranged on the extruded profile element 12 and integrally formed therewith, such as the guide rails 20 and the cover element 22. This shortened design of the longitudinal side elements 18 as well as of all other elements arranged on the light exit element 14 of the extruded profile element 12 can thereby also be realized by a milling operation, in particular after the extrusion of the extruded profile element. This design of the extruded profile element 12 allows an arrangement of an end cap 26 on the extruded profile end 12a, so that no joints are visible from below and the visible lower outer surface of the lamp body 10 is realized as a continuous unit. The end cap 26 can now be arranged on the extruded profile element 12 so that it contacts the upper side of the light outlet element 14 of the extruded profile element 12 and at the same time the Längsseitenelementenden 18. Furthermore, the light exit element 14 may be configured in the region of the extruded end 12 a at will in its shape, such as for example, with rounded corners 24, as in Fig. 2 shown. The end cap 26 may then also be designed accordingly in its shape, so that it is preferably form-fitting manner on the extruded profile element 12 can be arranged.

Fig. 3a shows a schematic representation of an end cap 26 of a lamp body 10 in a first perspective according to an embodiment of the invention. The end cap 26 in this case has a transverse side surface 32, which forms a conclusion of the lamp body in its longitudinal extent. Furthermore, the end cap 26 here also has rounded corners 24a, so that they are in an arrangement on an extruded profile element 12 according to Fig. 2 positively, in particular with its light exit element 14 terminates. As a holder or for fastening the end cap 26 on the extruded profile element 12, the end cap 26 comprises coupling elements 28, which, as shown here, are designed as connecting elements, which can be pressed into the extruded profile element 12. In addition, the end cap 26 also comprises guide elements 30, which are formed flat and can be inserted into the guide rails 20 of the extruded profile element 12.

Fig. 3b shows the in Fig. 3a illustrated end cap 26 again from a second perspective.

Fig. 4a shows a schematic representation of a lamp body 10 with an extruded profile element 12 and an end cap 26 can be arranged thereon according to an embodiment of the invention. The end cap 26 may be formed so that it has side surfaces which form a conclusion to the transverse side of the lamp body 10 back and up, and that in particular between the ends of the guide rails 20 and the transverse side surface 32 is a distance. By this design, a clearance or cavity is provided, so that in the end cap 26, the wiring 34 for supplying the LEDs can run and in particular can be guided around the guide rails 20.

Fig. 4b shows a schematic representation of a lamp body 10 as in Fig. 4a In particular, this can be easily inserted into the extruded profile element 12 by the existing coupling elements 28 and / or guide elements 30.

Fig. 5 shows a schematic representation of a designed for a ceiling light fixture body 10 with a suspension 36 according to an embodiment of the invention.
