Definitions
- the invention relates to a material for a metal strip for the production of electrical contact components according to the features in the preamble of patent claim 1 and to the use of such a material for an electrically conductive metal strip for the production of electrical contact components according to the features of patent claim 5.
- Contact components find a variety of applications in the field of electrical engineering and electronics. As mechanically connectable and separable fasteners whose main task is the production of an electrically conductive contact. In addition to the closing of circuits as well as direct couplings with electronic components can be realized.
- the particular design is based both on country-specific standards and on the requirements to be met in the field of application.
- High-quality plug contacts have a stable contact resistance, in which the preservation of the low contact resistance is in the foreground.
- a change in the contact resistance is usually due to the electrical breakdown of corrosion or foreign layers.
- they In order to obtain a durable contact surface for such contact components, they often have a tin or chrome coating up to a silver or gold coating.
- a copper alloy for plug contacts which has a zinc content (Zn) in wt .-% of 23% to 28%.
- Other constituents are represented by at least 0.01%, with silicon (Si) up to 3%, while nickel (Ni) accounts for up to 5%.
- the JP 2009/013499 A also discloses a copper material for plug contacts with a proportion of zinc (Zn) in wt .-% of 20% to 41%.
- the proportion of nickel (Ni) ranges from 0.1% to 5.0%, with the tin content (Sn) of 0.5% to 5.0%.
- the DE 103 08 779 B3 shows a lead-free copper alloy and its use. Their constituents in wt .-% are for copper (Cu) at least 60% to a maximum of 70% and thus quite high. On the other hand, a content of nickel (Ni) of 0.01% to 0.5% is proposed, while the content of tin (Sn) is from 0.5% to 3.5%. A possible proportion of silicon (Si) may range from 0.01% to 0.5%.

- Zinc Zinc
- Tin Tin
- Ni Nickel
- Si Silicon
- the remainder of the material is formed from copper (Cu) and impurities caused by melting. Furthermore, the proportion of nickel (Ni) may be at least partially replaced by cobalt (Co). Thus, nickel (Ni) can also be 100% and thus completely replaced by cobalt (Co). The ratio of the proportions of nickel (Ni) and / or cobalt (Co) to the element silicon (Si) ranges from 3.5: 1 to 7.5: 1.
- the metal strip for the production of electrical contact components consists of the hardenable alloy CuZn30Sn1Ni1Si0,2.
- the particular advantage lies not only in the high content of zinc (Zn) and the associated favorable production price in the increased strength of the material. Compared to copper, the increased strength is due to the formation of mixed crystals. The solidification achieved in this way is one of the possible strength-increasing processes in order to obtain a hard material from an otherwise relatively soft metal.
- the precipitation hardening with nickel (Ni) silicides allows a significantly higher strength with good elongations and thus increased flexibility. This is especially true in comparison with pure mixed-crystal-strengthened and cold-strengthened special brasses, such as, for example, CuZn25Sn1. In this way, even in high strength conditions such. B. in R780 (R m ⁇ 780 MPa) still achieve an elongation at break A 50 of> 3% (DIN 50125). The relaxation resistance is significantly better than for CuSn4 and CuZn25Sn1.
- the proportion of nickel (Ni) may be at least partially replaced by cobalt (Co).
- a ratio of nickel (Ni) and / or cobalt (Co) to silicon (Si) should be maintained at 3.5: 1 to 7.5: 1.
- this ratio can be from 4.0: 1 to 5.0: 1.
- Phosphorus from 0.001% to 0.05%
- Boron from 0.02% to 0.5%
- Silver from 0.02% to 0.5%
- Manganese from 0.03% to 0.8%
- Chrome from 0.01% to 0.7%
- Aluminum from 0.02% to 0.5%
- Magnesium from 0.01% to 0.4%
- Iron from 0.01% to 0.6% as well Zircon (Zr) from 0.01% to 0.4%
- Arsenic from 0.001% to 0.1%.
- the elements contained in the group may optionally be present in the present material.
- phosphorus (P) and / or boron (B) can be added in the stated amount, serving as a deoxidizer. Their presence causes the free oxygen (O) dissolved in the melt to become bound. In this way, the hydrogen disease is counteracted by preventing the formation of gas bubbles as well as oxidations of alloying constituents.
- phosphorus (P) serves to improve the tile properties of the present copper alloy during casting.
- manganese (Mn) When manganese (Mn) is added, its solidifying property on the copper alloy is primarily used. At the same time manganese (Mn) also serves as a deoxidizer.

Description
JP 2008/208466 A - Die
JP 2009/013499 A - Die
- Phosphor (P), Bor (B), Silber (Ag), Mangan (Mn), Chrom (Cr), Aluminium (Al), Magnesium (Mg), Eisen (Fe), Zirkon (Zr) oder Arsen (As).
