Nachfolgend wird das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren unter Bezugnahme auf die genannten Figuren beschrieben. Es umfasst folgende Schritte:

  3. c) Heranfahren eines weiteren Bundwagens 160 mit einem darauf installierten zweiten Niederhaltearm 150 an den Bundausfahrwagen 120;
  4. d) Einfahren des zweiten Niederhaltearms in das Coil-Auge 210 des transportierten Coils 200 und Aufbringen einer zweiten Niederhaltekraft F2 in dem Coilauge zum Andrücken des Coils auf die Auflager 124 und zum Sichern des Coils 200 gegen Aufspringen; siehe Figur 3;
  5. e) Anschließendes Entfernen der ersten Niederhaltevorrichtung 130;
  6. f) Weitertransport des Coils mit Hilfe des Bundausfahrwagens 120 an eine oder mehrere Abbindeposition(en) einer Bundbindemaschine zum Abbinden des Coils mit mindestens einer Bindung zur Erzeugung eines formstabilen Coils 200, wobei der Bundwagen vorzugsweise synchron zu dem Bundausfahrwagen 12 mit verfährt zwecks Aufrechterhaltung der zweiten Niederhaltekraft F2 durch den zweiten Niederhaltearm im Coil-Auge 210 während des Weitertransports; und

  1. Method according to claim 9, characterised in that a further coil car (160) on which the second holding-down arm (150) is anchored by its end, which is remote from the coil, moves synchronously with the coil removal car (120) for the purpose of maintenance of the second holding-down force (F2) by the second holding-down arm (150) in the eye of the coil (200) during the onward transport.
  13. Method according to claim 9, characterised by binding the coil in the coil binding machine and releasing the second holding-down force by removal of the second holding-down arm (150) from the eye (210) of the coil (200).
  14. Method according to claim 9, characterised in that the first holding-down arm (130) is so set in its height that it can exert the first holding-down force (F1) on the outer circumference of the coil (200) and/or the second holding-down arm is so set in its height that it can exert the second holding-down force in the eye (210) of the coil (200).
