Claims (14)
- Device (100) for handling a metal strip, comprising a coiling device (110) with a coiling mandrel (112) for winding up the metal strip to form a coil (200) on the coiling mandrel, and a coil removing car (120) with supports (124) for receiving the coil (200) from the coiling mandrel and removing the coil from the coiling device (110), and a first holding-down arm (130) for exerting a first holding-down force (F1) with at least one component in the direction of the weight force on the outer circumference above the centre plane of the coil (200) for pressing the coil onto the supports of the coil removal car, characterised by a second holding-down arm (150) for exerting a second pressing force (F2) by its coil-side end in the eye of the coil (200), wherein the second holding-down arm (150) is constructed to so position in the eye of the coil (200) that the second holding-down force (F2) exerted on the coil by the second holding-down arm in the eye has at least one component in the direction of the weight force.
- Device (100) according to claim 1, characterised in that a cantilever arm (133) is provided, which is arranged above a travel path for the coil removal car, particularly a stationary rail path (122), that a trolley (135) is provided for holding the first holding-down arm (130) and for movement together with the holding-down arm (130) on the cantilever arm (133), and that a synchronising device is provided for synchronising the movement of the trolley (135) with the first holding-down arm and the coil removal car in such a manner that the first holding-down arm (130) rests on the outer circumference of the coil during the movement of the coil removal car.
- Device (100) according to claim 2, characterised in that the synchronising device is constructed in the form of an electronic control (140) or in the form of a mechanical coupling of the coil-side end (131) of the holding-down arm at the coil.
- Device (100) according to claim 2 or 3, characterised in that the arm (133) is anchored at least by one end in stationary position at or in the region of the coiling device.
- Device (100) according to claim 1, characterised in that the first holding-down arm (130) is mechanically coupled by its end, which is remote from the coil, to the coil removal car (120).
- Device (100) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the holding-down arm (130) is constructed to be telescopically retractable and extensible.
- Device (100) according to claim 6, characterised in that the second holding-down arm (150) is fastened by its end, which is remote from the coil eye, to the coil removal car (120) or to a further coil car (160).
- Device (100) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the first and/or second holding-down arm (130, 150) is constructed to be adjustable in height.
- Method for handling a metal strip, comprising the following steps:winding up the metal strip to form a coil (200) on the coil mandrel (112) of a coiling device (110),transferring the coil (200) from the coiling mandrel to a coil removal car (120), andremoving the coil on the coil removal car from the coiling device and exerting a first holding-down force (F1) with at least one component in the direction of the weight force on the outer circumference of the coil (200) by a first holding-down arm (130) for pressing the coil (200) onto the coil removal car (120) during transfer of the coil from the coiling mandrel to the coil removal car and during removal of the coil from the coiling device (110),characterised byapplying a second holding-down force (F2) with at least one component in the direction of the weight force in the eye of the coil with the help of a second holding-down arm for pressing the coil onto the supports of the coil removal car, after the coil has been removed on the removal car at least to an extent from the coiling device and before the end of the reach of the first holding-down arm is reached, and removing the first holding-down arm (130) from the coil (200) after the second holding-down arm (150) engages in the eye of the coil (200).
- Method according to claim 9, characterised in that the coil-side end of the first holding-down arm (13) moves synchronously with the coil of a coil removal car during removal of the coil on the coil removal car (120) from the coiling device (110).
- Method according to claim 9, characterised in that the coil (200) is transported onward on the coil removal car (120) to at least one coil binding machine, which is, for example, arranged outside the reach of the first holding-down arm (130).
- Method according to claim 9, characterised in that a further coil car (160) on which the second holding-down arm (150) is anchored by its end, which is remote from the coil, moves synchronously with the coil removal car (120) for the purpose of maintenance of the second holding-down force (F2) by the second holding-down arm (150) in the eye of the coil (200) during the onward transport.
- Method according to claim 9, characterised by binding the coil in the coil binding machine and releasing the second holding-down force by removal of the second holding-down arm (150) from the eye (210) of the coil (200).
- Method according to claim 9, characterised in that the first holding-down arm (130) is so set in its height that it can exert the first holding-down force (F1) on the outer circumference of the coil (200) and/or the second holding-down arm is so set in its height that it can exert the second holding-down force in the eye (210) of the coil (200).
