- Fig. 1 is a cut protection layer 10 for a cut protection textile in principle representation in section shown.
- the cut protection fabric 10 comprises a support structure 12 with two mutually spaced support structure layers 14, 16.
- the support structure layers 14, 16 are formed as a mesh material, that is prepared for example in a knitting or knitting process. In this case, the two support structure layers 14, 16 are simultaneously knitted or knitted parallel to each other.
- cut protection threads 18 are successively introduced between the two support structure layers 14, for example as weft threads. As the Fig. 1 and 2 clearly show, the cut protection threads 18 are provided with a significantly greater thickness than the yarn material used to produce the support structure layers 14, 16.
- the two support structure layers are interconnected at crosslinking points 20.
- This can be done by a stitch forming thread of a support structure layer 14 or 16 is drawn for binding with the stitching threads of the other cut protection layer 16 or 14 in this and then returned to its initial cut protection position and is continued there used for stitching.
- each individual crosslinking point 20 can be formed by a plurality of such threads of the support structure layers guided back and forth between the two cut protection layers 14, 16.
- each crosslinking point 20 is positioned in a vertex region 24 of the cut protection thread 18 considered here, in particular on the concave side of the vertex region 24.
- crosslinking points 20 distributed in association with each cut protection thread 18 over its entire longitudinal extent such crosslinking points 20 are provided. Also, the crosslinking points 20 to be assigned to a group can be effective for the two cut protection thread fans formed on both sides thereof, ie two cut protection threads.
- the cut protection threads 18 are arranged extending between the two support structure layers 14, 16 substantially parallel to one another along a main extension direction H. As a result of the undulating positioning, the cut protection threads 18 reach a maximum angle of inclination W with respect to the main extension direction H in the range of 5 ° to 45 ° in the inclined regions 26 lying between two directly successive apex regions 24.
- the cut-protection threads 18 are constructed of preferably highly stretched polyester material. Furthermore, 18 smooth material is used for the cut protection threads. Smooth material is a thread or yarn material which, after the production process, that is, for example, an extrusion process, is optionally subjected to a stretching process, but does not undergo any working processes in order to achieve texturing, ie to obtain a textured thread or yarn material.
- the cut protection threads 18 have a substantially rectilinear, smooth course. This has the consequence that when interacting with the saw blade of a chain saw, the cut protection threads gripped by the chain can be pulled out of the cut protection layer comparatively easily.
- the cut protection threads 18 can be formed with a thread thickness (denier) of at least 500 dtex, preferably at least 2000 dtex. It has been shown that excellent cut protection properties can be achieved, in particular with thread thicknesses of more than 3000 dtex.
- the cut protection threads 18 are furthermore preferably constructed as a multifilament, that is, with a plurality of individual filaments. These individual filaments can have a thread thickness in the range of 1.5 dtex to 10 dtex. Thus, a thread thickness of 100 dtex can be obtained in the cut protection threads 18 with at most 75 individual filaments. The fewer individual filaments that must be used to achieve, for example, 100 dtex, the better the achievable cut-resistant properties, so that preferably at most 20 or most preferably at most 18 individual filaments are provided to obtain 100 dtex of the cut protection threads 18.
- Textured yarns are obtained by structuring, for example by mechanical action, after the yarn production process, ie the extrusion process, in order, for example, to obtain a high level of undulation, turbulence, compression, possibly also a mesh-like or spiral texturing.
- various methods are known, such. The torsional crimping method, the stuffer box method or the nozzle blow method, the gear crimping method, the draw texturing, and the like.
- the use of textured thread or yarn material for the support structure 12 creates a comparatively comfortable feeling for a person coming in contact with it.
- the moisture absorption capacity can also be improved by the texturing, so that sweat which forms on the skin during work can easily be removed or absorbed in the cut protection layer 10.
- polyester material can be used as a building material for the support structure layers 14, 16 for example.
- the suture material used for the support structure layers 14, 16 may have a suture thickness of at least 40 dtex, preferably at least 80 dtex, most preferably at least 140 dtex, like the Fig. 1 and 2 this illustrate, however, much thinner than the thread material used for the cut protection threads 18.
- the essential functionality of the support structure layers 14, 16 is actually the creation of a structural cohesion of the cut protection threads 18, so that it is not necessary to pay attention to safety-increasing properties of the cut protection layers 14, 16 or of the thread material used therefor.
- the cut protection behavior can be influenced by how, like the Fig. 2 This illustrates cut resistant threads 18 having various properties.
- the cut protection threads 18 may differ, for example, in their thickness, that is, for example, also the number of threads, in the construction material, in the degree of stretching or the like.
- the sequence can be periodic, as in Fig. 2 recognizable with a sequence of thicker and thinner cut protection threads 18.
- a cut protection layer 10 as previously described with reference to FIGS Fig. 1 and 2 can be used to build a Thomasschutztextilie by several such Thomasschutzlagen, for example, four layers are superimposed. Such Thomasschutztextilie can then be integrated into a protective work clothing to obtain the desired protective effect in particular at the safety-critical positions in the arm, front or leg area.
- the individual cut protection layers can be connected to each other, wherein the compound preferably takes place in the edge region to avoid an impairment of the cut protection characteristic.
- the superimposed cut protection layers of a cut protection textile can be essentially identical to one another, but can also differ from one another with regard to the support structure, but in particular the cut protection threads.
- a layering of coarser cut protection threads towards finer cut protection threads can be provided.
- cut protection textiles with a significantly lower number of cut protection layers, which in particular increases the air permeability and thus makes it more difficult for a person to accumulate moisture. This also contributes to an increase in wearing comfort and thus to an increased acceptance of a protective clothing thus constructed.

Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a cut protection layer for a cut protection textile, a cut protection textile constructed with at least one such cut protection layer, and protective work clothing in which at least one cut protection textile is integrated.
When working with chainsaws, there is a risk that the chain guide rail will slide off the wood to be cut and come into contact with the body of the person working with the chain saw. In order to avoid the occurrence of injuries, it is advantageous or in the professional field regulation to wear protective clothing. Here exist various protection classes of the work protective clothing, which are essentially differentiated by the fact that at different speeds of rotation of the chain around the saw rail, the chain must be reliably brought to a standstill without severing the protective clothing. While the protection classes A (20 m / s chain speed) and B (24 m / s chain speed) set up in DIN EN 381 can generally be fulfilled, it has hitherto not been practically possible to obtain protection class C for a workwear that is acceptable in terms of its handling or wearing comfort (28 m / s).
It is the object of the present invention to provide a cut protection layer for a cut protection textile or a cut protection textile or protective clothing constructed therewith, which has an increased cut protection resistance.
According to the present invention, this object is achieved by a cut protection layer for a cut protection textile, in particular for protective work clothing, comprising a support structure made of thread material and a plurality of cut protection threads worn adjacent to the support structure, wherein at least a portion of, preferably substantially all cut protection threads with smooth material are constructed.
Essential in the construction according to the invention is the use of smooth material for or at least a part of the cut protection threads. Smooth material is a thread material that in the thread manufacturing process no texturing, z. Crushing or otherwise deforming, which could result in a generally textured, substantially non-rectilinear configuration of such a thread. Such smooth material can be much easier pulled out of the cut protection layer when interacting with a chain of a chain saw due to its smooth surface, which brings a comparatively strong energy dissipation and reduces the risk of severing one or more cut protection threads lack of sufficient mobility of the same. This leads to a significantly increased safety when acting through the saw rail of a chainsaw.
According to a further particularly advantageous aspect of the present invention, it is proposed that the support structure be at least partially, preferably substantially completely, with textured thread material is constructed. Thus, while smooth material is to be provided for the cut protection threads, the use of textured material in the support structure is particularly advantageous. The support structure itself does not substantially contribute to the increase in cut protection safety. The support structure should on the one hand ensure sufficient elasticity of the cut protection layer, which is supported in particular by the use of textured thread material. Furthermore, textured thread material has a more pleasant feel due to its not smooth, but in a compression process or other forming process in the thread manufacturing achieved structuring, so feels comfortable for a person in contact with the cut protection layer person pleasant.
A further advantageous aspect can be achieved by arranging at least a part of, preferably all, cut-resistant protective yarns having a wave-like pattern. By arranging the cut protection threads in wavy, so for example undulating or zigzag pattern is still integrated in the cut protection elasticity integrated into the cut protection threads, which increases the comfort and thus significantly reduces the burden for a worker wearing protective clothing equipped person.
In order to be able to obtain a stable bond between the support structure and the cut protection threads, it is proposed that the support structure comprises two support structure layers accommodating the cut protection threads between them.
An essential contribution to increased elasticity of the cut protection layer can be obtained by designing the support structure as a mesh material, preferably a knitted fabric or knitted fabric. In order to ensure a stable bond, it is proposed that the support structure layers are connected to each other at crosslinking points.
A defined positioning of the cut protection threads in the support structure can be assisted in that in a main extension direction the cut protection threads are formed by crosslinking points cut protection thread bobbins, wherein in at least a part of, preferably all Schnittschutzfadenfächem a single cut protection thread is added.
The mutual connection of the support structure layers at individual crosslinking points can be used to support the wave-like structure of the cut protection threads by forming a crosslinking point substantially at each vertex area of a cut protection thread. By providing a plurality of crosslinking points positioned in this way, a curving of the cut protection threads around the crosslinking points and thus their wave-like positioning is already forced during the fierpositioning process.
To influence the cut protection characteristic can be further provided that at least partially immediately adjacent cut protection threads made of different material and / or are formed with different thickness and / or with different thread thickness.
In order to be able to ensure the required safety when acted upon by a chain saw, it is proposed that at least a part of, preferably all cut protection threads, a thread thickness, also generally referred to as titre, of at least 500 dtex, preferably at least 2000 dtex, most preferably at least 3000 dtex , exhibit.
- the individual filaments have a thread thickness in the range from 1.5 dtex to 10 dtex,
or and - a yarn thickness of 100 dtex with at least 75 individual filaments, preferably at least 20 individual filaments, most preferably at least 18 individual filaments, is achieved,
or and - a total rotation of less than 150, preferably less than 100, rotations per meter is present.
A sufficient elasticity of the cut protection layer even in a main direction of the cut protection threads with as little hindered withdrawal when acted upon by a chainsaw can be ensured that a maximum inclination of the wave-like cut protection threads with respect to a main extension direction of the cut protection threads in the range of 5 ° to 45 °.
As a particularly advantageous construction material for the cut protection threads preferably hochverstrecktes polyester material has been found.
The thread material used for the construction of the support structure may have a thread thickness of at least 40 dtex, preferably at least 80 dtex, most preferably at least 140 dtex.
Polymer material, preferably polyester material, which advantageously does not have to be stretched due to the high strength which is not required there, can also be used for the thread material of the carrying structure, but, as stated above, can be provided as a textured material.
In order to be able to reduce the moisture absorption in the cut protection layer as far as possible, it is proposed that the support structure and / or at least a part of, preferably all cut protection threads are hydrophobic. Alternatively, in order to influence the moisture absorption it can be provided that the support structure or / and at least a part of, preferably all cut protection threads are hydrophilized.
The present invention further relates to a cut protection textile with at least one, preferably a plurality of cut protection layers constructed according to the invention. It can preferably be provided that at least two cut protection layers are preferably connected to each other in at least one edge region.
In order to be able to influence the safety characteristic when a plurality of cut protection layers are provided in a cut protection fabric, it is further proposed that the cut protection threads provided therein differ in terms of one another in the construction material and / or in the thickness or / and in the thread thickness.
The present invention further relates to a protective work clothing into which at least one cut protection textile designed according to the invention is integrated. In this case, it may preferably be provided that, in the case of at least one cut-resistant textile and with protective clothing worn in an essentially upright position, at least part of, preferably a majority of, most preferably all cut-protection threads extend approximately in the vertical direction.

In the manufacturing process, the two support structure layers are interconnected at crosslinking points 20. This can be done by a stitch forming thread of a
It should be noted that, of course, distributed in association with each
In order to further support this undulating positioning of the
In order to be able to provide a sufficiently high cut-resistant strength by the cut-
In order to be able to provide the required structural strength in the
The
In order to ensure the smoothest possible surface structure of the
While the
In order to be able to influence the moisture absorption behavior or the moisture balance in a defined manner, it is possible, for example, to hydrophobicize or hydrophilize the thread material for the
When integrating such a cut protection textile in a protective workwear, it is also advantageous that in a person standing upright such cut protection clothing carries, the cut protection threads approximately in the vertical direction, ie the longitudinal direction of the arms or longitudinal direction of the legs extend. In addition to a sufficiently high level of protection against cuts, this also ensures extensibility of the cut protection textiles in their longitudinal direction, ie, for example, in the knee region or elbow region, namely due to the wave-like positioning of the cut protection threads, which permits stretching of the cut protection layers in their main extension direction. This significantly increases the wearing comfort.
As a result of the comparatively high protection against cuts achieved with the construction according to the invention, it is possible to construct cut protection textiles with a significantly lower number of cut protection layers, which in particular increases the air permeability and thus makes it more difficult for a person to accumulate moisture. This also contributes to an increase in wearing comfort and thus to an increased acceptance of a protective clothing thus constructed.
