Aus dem Stand der Technik sind Dichtungsvorrichtungen für Schieberahmenanordnungen bekannt, welche im Bereich des sogenannten Mittelstoßes der Schiebeflügel der Schieberahmenanordnung in einen Zwischenraum zwischen einem äußeren Rahmenprofil der Schieberahmenanordnung und einem inneren Rahmenprofil der Schieberahmenanordnung eingesetzt werden. In einer Schieberahmenanordnung mit mindestens einem verschiebbaren Flügel wird unter dem Mittelstoßbereich derjenige Bereich verstanden, in welchem bei einer Geschlossenstellung des Schiebeflügels bzw. der Schiebeflügel die senkrecht verlaufenden Flügelrahmenpfosten zur Herstellung eines weitgehend dichten Abschlusses aneinandergrenzen. Um eine möglichst gute Abdichtung dieses Mittelstoßbereiches gegenüber eindringender Feuchtigkeit wie zum Beispiel Regen sowie gegenüber eindringenden Wind zu erreichen, werden gewöhnlicherweise die senkrecht verlaufenden Flügelrahmenpfosten mit ebenfalls senkrecht verlaufenden Dichtungsmitteln wie beispielsweise Dichtungsbürsten aus Faserflor versehen. In einer Geschlossenstellung der Schieberahmenanordnung liegen die freien Enden einer derartigen Dichtungsbürste dann an dem gegenüberliegenden Flügelrahmenpfosten des jeweils anderen Schiebeflügels an und gewährleisten so in vertikal verlaufender Richtung eine Abdichtung.
