Description

The invention relates to a lane boundary device for braking, returning or stopping coming laterally from the road vehicles, consisting of along the roadway edge or between the lanes to be arranged, lined up in the longitudinal direction and each other via connecting members on their longitudinally transversely oriented end faces in connection separating elements, in particular Concrete and / or metal elements, of preferably mutually identical shape.

Such lane boundary devices are known in practice in various embodiments and ensure that vehicles - especially in areas of narrowed roads or adjacent to the road Gradients - can not leave their lane. When approaching such a roadway limiting device, however, a not inconsiderable amount of energy is usually delivered by the vehicle to individual ones of the separating elements, which must receive them by friction against the ground or by deformation of the connecting links connecting them together or in some other way. As a rule, this energy absorption is accompanied by a local displacement of the separating elements, for which often, for example on bridges, not enough space is available.

Die Höhe der Energieabsorption hängt hierbei jedoch von einigen schlecht steuerbaren Parametern ab.Next is from the WO 00/65156 a baffle for traffic routes known in which in the same way individual wall elements are each connected to each other frontally and in addition via a fixing member with an anchoring element in the ground. The latter is intended to prevent excessive displacement of the wall elements in the start-up case. However, in order to achieve a reduction of the force acting on the vehicle impact energy, the fastening member is displaceably guided relative to the anchoring element, so that the wall element is movable in a position offset by a predetermined distance position. Due to this limited displaceability of the wall elements, a part of the kinetic energy of the vehicle is to be absorbed, but nevertheless an excessive displacement of the wall elements can be prevented. However, the amount of energy absorption depends on some poorly controllable parameters.

An alternative embodiment, which is also intended to allow deflection of Leitwandelementen is in the DE 198 55 441 described. This is the Fastening device plastically deformable formed as an expansion element. Again, a quantitative determination of the energy absorption is difficult.

Therefore, these known devices show in practice still adverse behavior, so that the invention has the object to improve a lane boundary device of the type mentioned in that with only slight spatial displacement of the separating elements in the start-up nevertheless a significantly larger and more precisely controlled amount of energy and / or can be implemented.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that at least one metal folding element formed as a deformation member is provided on the separating element, which is arranged between a fixed stop on the roadway and an abutment provided on the partition abutment and is laterally deformed at the side of the separation element attacking force energy conversion.

The advantage achieved by the invention consists essentially in the fact that a specially adapted deformation member is used for the energy absorption, which - regardless of the otherwise required properties of the separating element - can be optimized to implement a maximum of energy according to the respective requirements , This can be done, for example, in such a way that the energy is consumed by plastic deformation or cached by elastic deformation first.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the deformation member is arranged in the foot region of the separating element; In principle, however, it is also possible to alternatively or additionally arrange such a deformation member in every other area of the separating element. In this case, it is particularly appropriate to connect the deformation member in the vicinity of the center of gravity of the separating element at this. Then, as a rule, the stop block will also have to be mounted at a corresponding height above the roadway, but for this purpose, for example, a guardrail, which is present anyway on the roadway edge, can be used.

As a particularly advantageous and therefore preferred within the scope of the invention, an embodiment has proven, in which the deformation member is formed by a tube having a preferably square or circular cross-section.

There is also the possibility that the metal tube is provided on one or both of its end faces with the folding favoring indentations or indentations. As a result, a preselected shape is enforced at the onset of deformation, which is expediently to be chosen so that in the result a maximum of energy conversion is achieved.

Furthermore, this makes it possible to choose the length of the metal tube according to the energy to be absorbed.

As far as this, however, a too large travel of the separating element must be taken into account, it is also possible to choose the wall thickness and / or the diameter of the metal tube according to the energy to be absorbed. In this case, the material of the metal tube can be selected according to the energy to be absorbed.

Also for the attachment of the deformation member, there are different possibilities; Thus, in a first embodiment of the invention, the abutment for the deformation member may be arranged on the outer surface of the separating element, so that the deformation member is located outside of the separating element.

In another embodiment according to the invention, however, the deformation member is arranged in a guide receptacle of the separating element, wherein the abutment is mounted within the guide receptacle. Here, therefore, the deformation member within the separating element, there housed in a guide receptacle.

This guide receptacle is expediently designed as a recess, preferably as a groove-shaped recess in the bottom of the separating element.

In order to ensure a good support and guidance of the deformation member, the stop block is advantageously formed shoe-shaped.

Furthermore, it has been found to be advantageous if the deformation member provided on its end face facing the abutment with a connection bottle is, which is bolted to the counter-bearing formed as a connection plate, riveted or connected in a similar manner.

Depending on the configuration of the separating element, it may be expedient if the guide receptacle is provided with a metallic sheathing.

Finally, there is also the possibility that the deformation member is provided with an axially extending in its interior guide rod, which may be connected at one end to a guardrail or the like and the other end is slidably mounted in the separating element.

The lane boundary device shown in the drawing serves to decelerate laterally from the roadway coming vehicles, to guide back or stop. For this purpose, the lane boundary device consists of a plurality of separating elements 1, which are arranged along the edge of the lane or between the lanes, lined up in the longitudinal direction and communicate with each other. Such dividing elements 1 are preferably made of concrete or of metal and generally have preferably the same shape with each other.

At their transversely oriented to the longitudinal direction end faces of these dividing elements 1 are provided with connecting members that connect firmly with each other at the end side tightly placed separating elements 1.

In order to absorb the forces transmitted to the separating elements 1 by a vehicle when starting one or more separating elements 1 and to convert the energy resulting therefrom, at least one deformation element 2 is provided on the separating elements 1 provided, which is arranged between a stop block 3 fixed to the roadway and an abutment 4 provided on the separating element 1. For this purpose, the deformation member 2 is formed so that it is deformed energy-transforming at the side of the separating element 1 attacking force.

As in the embodiment of the FIGS. 1 to 5 is shown, there is the deformation member 2 in the foot region of the separating element 1. The deformation member 2 itself is in this case formed of a metal tube 5, which offers a cylindrical tube with a view to optimal deformation.

This metal tube 5, which is exemplified in Fig. 6 is shown in the initial state and in a deformed state, for example, formed as a folding tube or at one or both of its faces with indentations or notches 6 may be provided, which favor a suitable folding of the metal tube 5 at later axial load.

For a suitable choice of the metal tube 5 to be used, the maximum energy to be absorbed can first be determined or determined. Then, the length, the wall thickness and / or the diameter of the metal tube 5 are suitably set, which is particularly true when about the maximum displacement of the separating element 1 is limited.

In the in the FIGS. 3 and 4 illustrated embodiment, the abutment 4 is arranged for the deformation member 2 on the outer surface of the separating element 1, whereby For example, a simple visual inspection of the deformation member 2 is possible. If the additional space required for this is not available, the deformation member 2 can - as in the FIGS. 1, 2 and 5 shown - arranged in a guide receptacle 7 of the separating element 1 and the abutment 4 may be secured within the recess.

Here, the guide receptacle 7 - as in FIG. 5 to be seen - as a recess, preferably formed as a groove-shaped recess in the bottom of the separating element 1.

The stopper 3 may be suitably shaped according to the particular application; It has proved to be advantageous in this case a shoe-shaped design.

The deformation member 2 is provided on its end face facing the anvil 4 with a connection flange 8, which in turn is screwed to the abutment 4 formed as a connection plate.

How the particular FIG. 5 shows, the guide receptacle is provided with a metallic sheath 9, which is especially recommended for existing concrete separating elements.
