Description

DOMAINE DE L'INVENTIONFIELD OF THE INVENTION

The invention is part of the field of handling, and more particularly the handling of discrete elements of the type of metal frames, irons, crossed irons, and other elements, in particular likely to be implemented in the context of the building but also loose items.

ETAT ANTERIEUR DE LA TECHNIQUEPRIOR STATE OF THE TECHNIQUE

The large-capacity transport bags are now widely used, whether for the storage and transport of bulk materials, or discrete elements of the type recalled in the preamble.

These bags are generally made of an envelope made of synthetic textile, including woven, comprising a bottom and a side wall, said casing being provided with attachment means to a hoist. These attachment means are generally made of several straps, also made of synthetic material, secured by stitching to the side walls of the envelope, or even at its bottom.

These bags, well known in the field under the term " big bag ", are generally made of polypropylene. The straps attached to these side walls define a plurality of gripping loops, said loops being intended to cooperate with a hoist, including the forks of a forklift or the hook of a crane, to thereby allow to handle them.

If these bags have demonstrated their perfect match with their destination, however, there is a difficulty arising from the wear of the grips in their areas of cooperation with the fork or hook of the hoist. Thus, if this wear is not detected by users, the risk of breaking at least one of said gripping handles is likely to cause the fall of the bag filled with its contents, which can lead to serious consequences in terms of accidents for personnel working on the site in the vicinity of the handling area of said bag.

The documents DE 20 2005 006012 , EP0411683A2 and GB 2 132 171 describe handling bags, the handles of which are constituted by two loops.

One of the solutions to overcome this difficulty is to locally strengthen the handle handle by increasing the thickness of the latter at this level, in other words, by locally increasing the mechanical strength of the strap. This solution is however not satisfactory because of the additional manipulation to implement to achieve this extra thickness.

Moreover, it masks the wear zone and only differentiates in time the risk of breakage of the loop.

The object of the present invention is to provide an alternative solution, simple to implement, and to optimize the safety conditions of use of such bags.

EXPOSE DE L'INVENTIONSUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

  • une enveloppe, notamment réalisée en textile synthétique, présentant une ouverture supérieure, un fond et des parois latérales, destinée à constituer le réceptacle de produits à manutentionner, qu'ils soient de nature discrète ou en vrac ;
Thus, the invention is solved according to claim 1 and is directed to a carrying bag comprising:
  • an envelope, in particular made of synthetic textile, having an upper opening, a bottom and side walls, intended to constitute the receptacle of products to be handled, whether of discrete nature or in bulk;
  • means for attaching the bag to a hoist, consisting of straps secured at least to the side walls of the casing, and defining gripping loops for cooperating with said hoist.

According to the invention, the bag further comprises additional straps, secured to the straps constituting the hooking means, defining loops, substantially parallel to the grip loops, and slightly longer than said loops, the loops being also secured to the handles on the substantial part of their length, with the exception of the zone of cooperation of the handles with the lifting gear.

In other words, the invention consists in adding straps of the same type, and having at least the same physical characteristics, especially in terms of mechanical strength, as the operational straps defining the gripping loops, and arranged in such a way that in the event of rupture of at least one of the gripping loops, the relay is taken by the additional loop or loops thus defined, the space separating the nominal end of the gripping loop from that of the additional loop, being sufficiently reduced, typically between 1 and 10 centimeters, to avoid a sudden too sudden during the recovery of the effort by the additional loop. In fact, it is conceivable to optimize the conditions of safe use of such bags.

In doing so, said additional loops are not required during lifting operations under normal conditions of use of the bag.

According to the invention, the ends of the additional straps are sewn on the operational straps on all or part of the height of the side walls of the envelope. In addition, they are sewn loosely, so by simpler sewing means, on substantial part of the length of the gripping loops, typically up to two-thirds of their height from the upper end of the side walls.

In doing so, the additional loops thus generated are intimately related to the gripping loops, with the exception, as already stated, of an interval located at the level of the zone of cooperation of the gripping loops with the lifting gear, so that the user of the bag is constrained, when he inserts the forks or the hook of the hoist at the level of the grips, on the one hand, to systematically cooperate with the grip handle nominal, and not inadvertently inserting said fork or hook at the only additional loop, because of the small spacing between the two, and secondly, to systematically take over and the gripping handle and the extra loop, so that in case of breakage of the nominal grip, the relay can be provided by the additional loop.

DESCRIPTION DETAILLEE DE L'INVENTIONDETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

He is represented on the figure 1 a schematic perspective view of a handling bag according to the invention. This basically comprises an envelope 1, typically made of woven polypropylene, in this case provided with four lateral faces 2, 3, 4, 5 and a bottom 6. It is thus defined an upper opening, allowing the introduction elements to be handled in the bag, either of a discrete nature or in bulk.

The side faces are sewn in pairs at their adjacent edges 7 and at the four edges of the bottom, in this case square, and in a known manner.

In addition, straps 8, made of polyamide (Nylon ® ), are sewn, in the example described over the entire height of the side walls 2 - 5, and define gripping handles 9 extending beyond the upper edge free of 12 of said side walls 2, 3, 4, 5. These grips are intended to cooperate with attachment means of a hoist, such as for example the fork of a forklift or the hook of a crane.

According to one characteristic of the invention, these straps 8 also receive an additional strap 10 of the same type, of substantially the same width and therefore having at least the same mechanical strength characteristics as the straps 8. These straps 10 are also sewn into the straps . the example described on said straps 8, and this over the entire height of the side walls 2, 3, 4, 5. They also form a loop 11 like the grips 9 extending from the upper free edge 12 sidewalls 2 - 5, parallel to the grips 9.

However, they have a length slightly greater than that of the straps 8 resulting in the loops 11, by a length slightly greater than that of the gripping loops 9, as can be seen on the figure 2 . Typically, at the end of the loop, the spacing between the loop 11 and the handle 9 is between 1 and 10 centimeters.

According to an advantageous characteristic of the invention, beyond the free upper edge 12 of the side walls 2, 3, 4, 5, the loops 11 are sewn on the gripping loops 9, the seams 13 however not being intended to have the same characteristics, including mechanical strength, as the seams 14 ensuring the fastening of the straps 8 and 10 on the side walls 2, 3, 4, 5.

These seams 13 are intended only to ensure sufficient solidarity of the loops 11 on the handles 9 not to risk the inadvertent cooperation of the only loop 11 with the hoist, but the systematic cooperation of the couple handle of gripping 9 / loop 11 with said lifting gear.

The aforementioned small spacing between the end of the handle 9 and that of the loop 11, also has the same purpose.

One could also consider another method of securing the loops 11 on the gripping loops 9, since the fastening function, at least temporarily is filled, and for example localized welding, etc..

In addition, this spacing also has the purpose of making it possible to visualize a possible wear of the zone of cooperation of the gripping loop 9 with the hoist, and in this case, to allow to discard the then unsuitable bag. to his destination.

Indeed, the loop 11, although having the same mechanical strength characteristics as the gripping handles 9, is only a palliative in case of rupture of the gripping loop 9 whose wear would not has not been detected, and therefore, not to risk the fall of a bag, but is not intended to allow the continuation of the use of such a bag in case of wear, or even rupture of the grips 9.

It is therefore conceivable the interest of the present invention to optimize the safety conditions in the context of the use of such bags.
