- The device for deforming the peripheral wall of stackable cups according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the moving element (1) consists of a movable cylindrical block (13) provided with expanding means and embossing means.
- The device for deforming the peripheral wall of stackable cups according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the shape of the cavities (7) corresponds to the intersection, during the translation of the cylindrical block (13), of the matrix with shapes protruding past the block (13) towards the matrix and making up the embossing means.

- The device for deforming the peripheral wall of stackable cups according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the inclined surface (24) of the moving shaft (25) consists of several sides inclined by the same angle.

- A method for deforming the peripheral wall of stackable cups using the device according to the preceding claims, characterized in that it includes the following steps:- positioning a cup (2) on a holder (3) that immobilizes it in translation and radially;- translating, along the axis (X) of the immobilized cup (2), a movable element (1) toward the cup (2);- actuating expanding and embossing means equipping the movable element (1) and exerted simultaneously on the peripheral wall (9) of the cup (2);- moving the movable element (1) in the opposite direction while keeping the cup (2) on its holder (3) using retaining means;- returning the movable element (1) and retaining means to the initial position separated from the cup (2) on its holder (3).
